For me what I do love about about Shruti was her strength of character, her good and bad all right there upfront, she's such a strong character it's great.

UD I feel is a little different in that he is pretty much a bad guy but can have moments of such vulnerabilty that you just want to hug him 😳 😆

I agree Vasu. What seperates Mukti from Shruti is, like you said, Mukti's mahaan attitude. Sometimes I feel that she sacrificed and took a bit too much!!! But of course, I still love both characters as well....like my two eyes!! 😆

Vasu got to agree about Mukti's over Mahaaness but I think thats the sort of person she needed to be to love someone like Prem so I did tend to give her a pass on most of it

I would really love to hug him....but I think I gotta join the que.....there's a very very long line!😆

You know what I would have loved to see? During the Sept track - I would have loved to see Mukti accept Prem, but he still be a "bad guy" in relation to Prerna et al. It would have been so interesting to see Mukti balance her love for her choti ma against her love for Prem, and for Prem to balance his love for Mukti, and his eternal devotion to her, with his hatred/anger towards Prerna and co. That would be a very complex, very human and highly interesting twist, if done correctly...

It was fine with Prem, because she had her share of heartbreak, her insecure moments, acting out of character, letting her ego get in the way etc. I had a problem with her mahaanness towards Prerna and esp. Sneha - after the rape track, she should have pulled a Shruti and blasted at Sneha for the way she treated her. Instead, she acted as if nothing had ever happened On Mukti's behalf, I was furious!

interesting thoughts about the sept track! But you know how it is with Balaji...that would've been too intense for them. And the writers don't really think that deep! It's a shame you're not part of the creative head!

Well that's just it - that was something far too complex for the peanut-brains of the uncreatives to consider. they can only digest murder, rape and dishum-dishum noises 😆

I would have loved this too. I think watching PM figure out how to be together when their ideals were so differnt would have been great, cos I personally dont think he would have come back to Prerna at all and I think mUkti would have been stuck on how far to push him- see inbuilt conflict, no boring relationship and still have some romance. I think we couldnt trust Ekta to do it right though🤢I always felt that Prem died when Mukti did though cos his character changed altogher he wasn't the guy I loved before.

you know, since watching PM together, it made me personally feel that they are one of the best on-screen couples that I have seen on Indian telly. They had such a complicated relationship. There was so much potential in their storyline but then....the same old story with Balaji....separate them, hum-shakals and...LEAP!!!
