Yeh!

That is true, affairs and all that happen in everyday life.. someone sleeps with someone else and gets them preggers - It happens.

Altho in dramas it is exaggerated alot, but thats a purpose of a drama.. dramatisation (woah big wrd.. hope its spelt right 😆 )

I know someone hu has never failed in exams.. went to oxford to persue their dreams and then ended up killing themselves when they got one lower mark - just one, then they expected.. he took an over dose of drugs and hung himself thinking his parents are going to be ashamed of him and his grades..

The purpose of the mini anecdote was that students have it drummed into them that grades is everything, its grades that can make ur life. (im sure uve all heard ur teachers say it)

In media they highlight everything bad.. its never a balance.. in the UK crime rate has decreased YET on tv you hear about knife crimes everyday, i think media should try and be parallel with the stats rather then opposite it.

Media portray the society that we live in - some countries dnt even get that! They get a rosy town shown on TV 😕

Tho i do think serials should show positivity, but then would the show be a hit without all the extra masala? At the end of the day, once u start a serial, you would hope u finish the drama too and not leave it half way 😆

The drama starts off with how ppl want to see it, once sucked in.. it goes haywire and its hard to get rid of the addiction to the show... doesnt matter how stupid it gets 😆

--- Nina. why vivah hun .. WHY!!!! 😆 one thing im liking about shows and movies, they are tryin to make it realistic, i read Khan is abt terrorism.. it would be interesting to see how its shot and what the storyline is.. cuz of a really sad incident in America ppl are now supposedly 'islamophobiacs' so will it be pro or con that statement i wonder....

Henzy...

Controversy and bad news makes good drama...so that's why people tend to use them so much.

But remember "Munnabhai" series? No violence, very little negativity, lots of laughs?

When was the last time we all smiled or laughed in KS? No Jigs, no Adi, no Dadi jokes...

As for Americans and islamophobia, I think it's over exaggerated.

If you really ask the common man, they are not that prejudiced, just like the regular blokes (😆 ) in England, India and elsewhere. They have their pre-conceived notions but they are good people with good work ethics. Honestly...

It's the government, entertainment biz and media brainwash...They overemphasize all the bad stuff...

Every movie is about terrorism, violence, American army dying etc. So it definitely influences people some what!

some examples and uk is not great at moment either like you said with this yob culture yet say crimes low😕

Media portray the society that we live in - some countries dnt even get that! They get a rosy town shown on TV 😕 yeh they try to anyways to a extent even if its not just through the story

Tho i do think serials should show positivity, but then would the show be a hit without all the extra masala? At the end of the day, once u start a serial, you would hope u finish the drama too and not leave it half way 😆 exactly and the masalas hardly realistic thats why i said i would rather see crazy things in serialas than reality lol
