Chapter 27:

Bani was not dancing…she was moving along with Jai as her mind was occupied with something else… she was worried to hell… what if Jai comes to know the truth now… no… she won't let Jai come to know of anything until he is fully recovered… she cant' take the risk of playing with his health… and if anything happens to Jai …what will happen to Masi… NO shouted Bani… Jai pulled away from her as he heard her saying NO…

Jai: what's wrong sweetheart… tum itni gabrai hue kyun lag rein ho? ... Are u ok sweetie?

Bani: I'm fine Jai… can we go from here please… mujhe dance karne ka maan nahin hai…

Jai: thik hai… chalo… and then coming out from the dance floor he called out to one of the waiter and got a glass of water for him… Bani come on drink this water you'll feel better… may be because of the crowd you are feeling a little uneasy… but don't worry the party will be over in some time…

Hi Di… hi Jiju shouted Rano as she entered from the main door… followed by Kiran and Nishikant Dixit…

Jai: Aare Rano itna dair kyun kiya tumne …you should have been the first guest but you seem to be the last one… saying so greeted ND & KD…

ND & KD blessed both couple and mingle with the rest of the family members as Bani's eyes searched for Daksh …but he was no where to be seen… where was he?

Just then Pushkar came close to her and wanted to talk to her but Rano cut in saying……

Rano: Hi Pushkar… when did you come… Pushkar you are looking very good in this suit… (Rano thinking… aare Rano apne juban pe kabo rakho… don't make a fool out of yourself…) … I'm sorry Pushkar… I mean …

Pushkar: its ok. Rano why r u saying sorry… and thanks for the compliment he said smilingly… as Rano felt really embarrassed but she felt angry as Jai was laughing at her outburst…

Pushkar: Bani I'm hungry yaar… apne bhai ko khana nahin khilaogi?

Bani: haan Pushkar chalo… come I'll serve you… Mr. Walia you wait here and I'll get a plate for you too… saying so both Pushkar and Bani left leaving Jai and Rano alone……

Bani: Pushkar kya low ge tum? She said unmindfully….

Pushkar: Bani… don't worry Daksh has left the party…

Hearing Daksh's name Bani looked at Pushkar in horror and asked him…

Bani: how did you recognize Daksh … I mean you haven't met him or…

Pushkar: Bani please relax… we will find some way and please don't tense yourself so much otherwise Mr. Walia will get suspicious of us…

Bani: Pushkar stop talking like a police inspector… I can't take the risk to tell Jai about the truth right now… he is not well and what if he… and she broke down in crying…

Pushkar: please Bani shant ho jao… agar kisine dekh liya tu problem ho jayen gi… and listen to me carefully… I will find out everything about Daksh and will let you know till then you rest assure… tumhara bhai tumhare saath hai… tumein kisi bhi cheeze ki liey pareshan hone ki zaroorat nahin hain… saying so he hugged Bani…… Bani served Pushkar a plate of food and took another plate for Jai… and both proceeded towards Jai… but hunger was far away from both Pushkar and Bani … it was just an excuse for Pushkar to talk to Bani about Daksh…

Jai: wow… someone is in loooove? ....

Rano: shut up Jiju… you are so mean you laughed at me …and Pushkar is so sweet he thanked me for the compliment and you were making fun of me…

Jai: first tell me why do you sisters keep on saying shut up… even before I open my mouth ur sister shut me up and now u r doing the same thing… Bani ka tu samajh mein aata hai… par tum tu meri dost ho na… and why didn't you tell me that you liked Pushkar… by the way how do you know that Pushkar is so sweet? Have you tasted him………haan ……………

Rano: very bad joke Jiju… pata nahin how my Di tolerate you…

Jai: very smart… but I'm smarter… so don't try to change the topic and tell me do you really like Pushkar… u want any help …I can talk to him if you want…

Rano: no Jiju… are u crazy…… he is a police inspector and not any normal guy …so I am a bit tensed about that…

Jai started laughing at her remark and said don't be so stupid Rano… he is a police inspector… so what … don't inspector have heart or don't they know how to love or something… Just then he saw Bani and Pushkar coming towards them so he shut his mouth…

Rano: Aare Jiju apki bolti ban kyun ho gayen?

Jai: Rano shut up… Pushkar aa raha hai… Hi Pushkar… aare Bani yeh kya yaar…he made a face seeing the food on the plate …as the plate was full of salad, dal and rice… there was nothing spicy…

Bani: Mr. Walia here have this food and please don't make a fuss about it…

Jai: Bani… kya hua …you seem a bit tensed …is everything ok sweetheart…

Rano: wow how romantic Jiju… sweetheart haan…

Bani: shut up Rano… kuch bhi bolti rehti ho… chalo jake khana kha lo…

Pushkar: Bani actually I'm getting late so I'll see you later on… Bye Rano… take care Mr. Walia… saying so he left the party…

After the party everyone retired to their respective room… in JB's room…

Both got changed and were lying on the bed… Bani was lost in her thought as she lies on Jai's arms…

While stroking Bani's hair Jai said: why don't you wear a nose ring anymore… you look cute wearing one…

Bani: Jai…how do you know I used to wear nose ring?

Jai: Bani don't you remember our first meeting…

Bani got a bit startle as she heard the question… what was she suppose to answer so she remained quiet for some time and then said…

Bani: haan Jai I remember… our first meeting was when you came to our house to see me……

Jai: no Bani that wasn't our first meeting …… remember that night it was raining when we met for the first time… and you were wearing little gold color nose ring and a white saree... it was over 2 years ago… when I gave you a lift… and you know afterwards I cursed myself as I was an idiot when I finally found my dream girl I forgot to ask her what her name was or anything…… this is why it took me so much time to locate you sweetheart… otherwise we would've got married long ago…or else we would've had lots of kids by now…

Bani: what? We met 2 years ago!?!

Jai: Bani how can you forget that incident… from that day I searched for you for 2 years and then I saw you at Anu's college and came to know that you were Anu's friend Rano's sister… and then I send Masi at ur place to ask for ur hand… after blabbering for some time he fell asleep holding onto Bani…

Bani was shocked as she now realized why Jai seemed familiar to her… but she was more shocked at the fact that Jai searched for her for 2 years and he saw Anamika at the college as she was in London and thought that was Bani… that mean he never loved Anamika… he was in love with her from the beginning and mistook Anamika to be Bani as they were identical twins… Bani realized how much Jai loves her… thinking about that… tears were flowing from her eyes as she remembered that rainy incident…

Flashback

Bani was talking on the phone as her car broke down on middle of the road as she was on her way to her friend's wedding… that night she was wearing a white saree… Bani looked outside from the car and saw it was raining heavily and she was trying to get a taxi… just then her phone rang…

Bani: Hello… haan Rano… I'm coming… I should have come with u and Anamika my car broke down and its raining as well …I might be a bit late… don't worry I'll get a taxi or something… aare haan mere saath driver bhi hai so please don't worry I'll there in some time… now bye…yes I'll be careful… bye…

Bani was in the car while the driver tried to get a taxi for Bani… just then another car pulled down to their side and asked the driver what was the matter… the driver explain to the guy that their car broke down and his madam was looking for a taxi… the guy politely offered his help… so the driver went to the car and told Bani how this guy is ready to give her a lift… so she quickly got down from her car and went to the car which was parked to one side of the road… she knocked on the window and the window rolled down… (Well this guy is none other than our hero Jai Walia)………………………………

When he saw the sight in front of him he was mesmerized by her look her white saree holding onto her body perfectly…her deep eyes… long wet hair… some of her hair were also falling on her face… but the most attractive thing about her was a kala til on left side of her upper chest… which was visible on her skin…… and basically it was love at first sight…

Bani: thank you so much for giving me a lift …I really appreciate it… saying so she stopped as she wasn't getting a response from him…

Bani: excuse me…

Jai: WOW!!!!!!!!!!

Bani: what?

Jai: I mean please come in you're getting all drenched… saying so he open the door for her to get in and she got in the car… and Jai started driving the car…

Bani: thank you so much for the lift… if it wasn't for you then I would've been waiting at the middle of the road that too in this heavy rain… Thank you…

Jai: no really its ok he said looking at her face intently… and thinking wow she is so beautiful… finally I have found my dream girl…

Bani: did you say something?

Jai: no…why? Did you heard something…Jai thinking wow Jai yeh to kamal ho gayen yeh tu teri dil ki baat bhi sun sakti hai… thinking that he got excited and came out of his thought as he heard Bani saying…

Bani: please take the first right as I'll be getting off there…

Jai: what? Why do you want to get off?

Bani: actually this is the place where I was coming so I want to get off there… actually it's my friend's wedding and I'm late… so please hurry up…

Jai was a bit disappointed but he drove the car as instructed by Bani… after reaching there she got of the car and thanked Jai for the lift… Bani's walking figure got vanished in the thin air as he kept on looking at her from distant…

End of Flashback

Bani closed her eyes as tears were coming out of her eyes remember that incident and Jai's love for her… how was she suppose to gave him the love he deserves… he loves her so much… thinking all these Bani ultimately fell asleep due to tiredness………………………………………………………………………………………………
