Tree you planted is till holding on
Leaves are turning like nothing's wrong

Puskar looked desperately at her, "Bani…don't laugh. Give me a solution!" He sighed as Bani started to laugh even harder.
"Oh My God Puskar……you are telling me that you're in love and I'm not supposed to laugh…it's so damn funny!"
"Bani! Everyone falls in love…and you too fell in love. What's so funny here?" retorted Puskar.
Bani choked because of laughing too hard, "You … Love….Oh my god….that to with Pri…..my best friend……Ms. Oh I'm so Moody…..ha ha ha.."
"B-A-N-I" he said sternly, "Can't you help me sort this out instead of laughing? Now I know why you and Jai are getting married…he did the same thing when I asked him to help."
Bani wiped the tears which came out while she was laughing and drank some water. There was still a big grin in her face. They were in Arysha, a gorgeous restaurant which serves the food of 3 continents. The word Arysha means Grape Vines in some language; which one, that Bani forgot. She loves the food here. It was the day after her engagement. She's come here on special request from Puskar as he had something important to talk to her. Jai has promised to join them for lunch. Now they were talking and waiting for Jai. It was almost lunch time.
Bani looked at Puskar amused, "Puskar, listen, I was in this situation several times. Boys have fallen for Pri but she's never paid a damn to any of them. I tried quite a few times to set her off with someone but everytime it has backfired. So I'm not going to do this again, okay? I hope you do understand. I hate to break your heart. But if you really love her, go yourself and win her. No one can help you…………." she paused and said, "Puskar, I'm her best friend, and if she settles, none will be happier than me. But as a well wisher to you, I'll advice you not to waste time after her. I don't think she's prepared for all this love and everything…yet."
Puskar sat quietly for some time and then looking up at her he asked, "Why Bani? Why? Can't she see that I love her?"
Bani looked at him sharply, "Do you? Really?"
Puskar slammed his fist in the table gathering few glances from the other tables. "How many times I have to make you understand. I love her! Damn!"
"Are you sure it's not a crush?" Bani asked seriously. Puskar shook his head in no.
"An infatuation?" Puskar shook his head again in no…."Bani…believe me. I love her with all my heart..since she told me to wear that white coat!"
"Since she told you what?" Bani asked shocked.
Puskar shrugged. Bani hid her giggle.
"Hey Beautiful, what's up?" asked a voice. Bani looked up to face Jai who was looking fresh and handsome…as ever in casual jeans and shirt. He kissed her softly on the cheeks and sat beside her. Bani gave him a brilliant smile. He winked at her.
Puskar cleared his throat, "Ahem..I'm still here."
Jai snickered, "That's your problem yaar." Puskar made a face and Jai grinned, "So what were your important talkies with my lovely fianc?"
Bani giggled, "We were discussing about his love life."
Jai frowned, "I didn't even know he had any…"
Puskar groaned, "Why did I ever ask help from you two duffers, who doesn't understand anything except each other?"
"That was so sweet of you Puskar." Bani said while entwisting her hand with Jai's. Puskar rolled his eyes and was about to say something when Jai intervened, "Why don't we talk in between lunch? I'm so hungry. Sweetheart, what shall I order?" he asked sweetly to Bani who replied equally sweetly, "Anything you wish…"
"And for desert?" Jai winked at her. "Anything of my wish?"
Bani slapped him on his arm, "No stupid, anything of my wish."
Jai grinned, "Ok, as long as there's something for desert, the choice actually doesn't matter to me much."
Bani blushed profusely at the comment.

Pri hurried towards the CMO's office wondering why he was calling her immediately. As far she could remember she hasn't done anything wrong in last few days. Taking a breath, she entered, "May I come in Sir?"
"Oh yes, Doctor. I called you to let you know that there's an operation..that's not in your schedule, but if you can do..that'll solve many of our problems."
Pri nodded, "No problem Sir. Whom am I assisting?"
"You are doing that yourself."
Pri shook her head in shock. She's just a first year intern and she's not supposed to do operations alone as she's doing specialization in a very critical sector, neurosurgery.
"Is there anything wrong Doctor?" the CMO smiled at her knowing very well what is going inside her mind.
"No... not at all Sir." She replied dryly. Can it be a conspiracy to throw her out of the hospital?
As she left the office, she heard the voice of the CMO, "I wish you best of luck."
As Pri wore her OT gown, she cursed her luck. The hospital was full of frauds and selfish doctors and many of them were a part of the controlling committee. She cursed herself, why does she has such a big mouth? If she hadn't blamed a senior doctor openly for stealing patients' body parts, she wouldn't have seen this days. I have a poor future as a doctor. She sighed as she entered the OT.

When Pri came out of that OT after almost 3.5 hours, she was tired like anything. That was a hell like injury. It was supposed to be done by the most experienced and skilled neurosurgeon, not a novice like her. They knew she'd fail and then they'll blame her for killing her first surgical patient. And then…end of her career.
As she mechanically changed back into her clothes, a nurse who was helping her in the OT called her back. "Doctor?"
She looked back, "Yes?"
"That was beautiful Doctor and it was your first surgery. You've a long way to go M'aam."
The nurse left. Suddenly the realty of the situation drowned into her, and she was overwhelmed.
The CMO crumbled the paper in front of him in anguish. That bitch!
The operation was successful.

Jai looked at Bani as she did her seat belt. He sighed, does she need to look beautiful everyday? Not that I complaining, but it takes my breath away!
Bani felt that someone was staring at her and looked confusing, "What?"
He smiled, "Nothing. So where do you want to go?"
Bani creased her brow, "Tell me you won't laugh?"
Jai became confused and curious, "Ok, I won't laugh. Where?"
"To Water Park." Bani replied cheekily.
"What do you have in mind Bani?" Jai asked suspiciously. Bani laughed and took his hand, "Nothing serious…please Jai. I want to go."
Jai shrugged and started the car, Bani giggled and said inwardly, "I have nothing serious in my mind, that's true. But I've loads of naughty planning there."
As Jai zoomed the car he thought, what does she think me? After all, I run an empire, but who is complaining anyway?
They smiled at each other. They are going to have some fun today.
