Thanks Raji, with all due respect, I feel that RK has a very good screen presence and also seemed to be a well read man who seem to be worldly. So in my opinion, he has a good personality.

1) To State facts that are relevent..
RK has won the best actor award last year...

2) RK has a big fan base, case and point being, so many women trying to come toward his defense

3) RK does have a great face, with very expressive eyes!

(People must be wondering why I am defending him so much because I belong to the Bani Brigadier Club, BBC - I don't know why? 😆 😆 😆 )

It is becoming apparent the audience of the show and the original KS forum visitors has changed and their preferences and viewpoints have changed.

Rivs pointed out that the original show was appealing in a sweet, romantic way - it appealed to lot of women with romantic nature and people like me who are not into too much negativity.

Now, things have become somewhat different, all of a sudden the story changed to not so romantic, full of raazes that don't make much sense and lot of bitterness, senseless butchering of positive characters that can not be redeemed.

And I disagree, if I may (with positivity of course) with Raji that June 19th was vulgar. It was not vulgar, and it was beautifully done.

Mango, I think your tastes are different from the women who obviously fell in love with the JB love story. Since you are not so romantically inclined, you might think, what's the big deal?

The truth of the matter is, many of the women in the world are romantically inclined and love watching sweet, sensitive portrayal of the 'LOVE'.

There are a lot of shows that are saas, bahu and saazish, so lot of the original KS fans flocked to this unusual drama that involved a true love story.

I don't know what you have against RK, he is a good actor and he is considered to be good looking by many women on the forum. I think he has a lovely face!!

I personally think that the story sucks right now, it has nothing to do with the entry of AD or the weight of RK. It is too negative and the story is riddled with too many loopholes and bloopers.

Rivs pointed out some blatant things that are so unrealistic, it's kind of funny...for instance, what are the sisters doing drugging each other? Is this a tag me & tag you game?

Why are they showing RK with his present face twenty years ago?

Why couldn't Bani ask AD that she will marry him one month later, before she sat in the mandap?

Why do they keep calling Pia, Mrs. Walia, when she is not?

Why is an actor who is truly good being given dumb dialogues to recite?

I think we are doing disservice to Rivya's post by calling each other names, insulting each other and being sarcastic.

If people like action, thrillers then there are so many such dramas out there, if people wants mysteries, there are so many that are out there...but true romance - not a whole lot, so if I am feeling bad that KS is ruined, then let us wallow in that sorrow, rather than laugh at us - 😭

I wish that some one starts another good drama, a true love story, so we can all go there, and for one...I wouldn't mind taking myself there!! 😕

Let's not diss YashRaj yet, we don't know what the potential is...a good person doesn't make hasty judgments saying it will be a failure without actually trying the waters.

May I point out, again nicely ( 😃 😃 😃 ) that RK is not that bad, he does have a lot of fans out here, so respect their feelings without being unduly harsh. Did you know that Marlon Brando was considered one of the sexiest men around and he was a big man? There are others I could point out!

Shoba,

So well out. Majority of us in this forum have stuck with KS for a long time because of the sweet love story. To see mystry there is CID, for usual drama all the saas bahu stuff. It's amazing that the people who took a little show with no real star cast to dizzying heights with their skills are being maligned this way for no apparant reason. Not everyone has to like everyone but how about not being insensitive and hurting other people's feelings.

Rivs had made such a wonderful post on things that is not making sense to her and to turn her post into a battlefield is really not nice.

Couldn't agree with you more!!!

And June 19th was one of the best scenes shot by Balaji in any of their productions (my opinion of course)

Every nuance in that scene was perfect --- the ambiance, the flow of the curtains, the timing of the candles flickering out, the acting, every touch, every kiss was so damm planned out and 90 percent if not more of the members here will agree that the scene was stupendous!!!

Hi Sheena,

I have never said june19th was vulgar neither did I ever talk about RK at all for that matter. I am confused. Why r u mentioning my name with respect to it? I totally agree with you that RK had done some awesome emotional scenes in the past and I have always appreciated him for it.

so,can you please clarify?😕

Thanks,

Raji

Rivs,

Your post sums up what the majority of people feel on this forum and amongst viewers. This serial is just getting more and more stupid and vulgar, and anybody with any sense of decency and common sense would surely be able to see this.

I am sure that middle school kids would be able to come up with a better plot and with more sense than the crap we are seeing each day nowadays. However, the creative team seems to be at the bottom of the class in the third grade; so we cannot expect any kind of logic from them. They have along way to go to understand what they are trying to do. So we probably can't blame them; it is their basic limitation.

Anybody who still thinks that the concept is not getting vulgar should honestly ask themselves if their grandparents would appreciate it. Would they be able to explain it to their grandma why it is so necessary (or cool) for Pia to rape her brother-in-law. How many of the storyline supporters would want their daughters to become a scheming cheapster like Pia? How many of the supporters would want their daughters to forget their husbands and children and go after another guy who supposedly is very attractive (who anyway is also another scheming guy)? Culture is all about what we wish our children to follow and what we would be able to justify to our parents/grandparents.

If the majority of the viewers and forum people find the serial going haywire and vulgar, and are still ardent fans of JB, I think it is prudent to appreciate their point of view. Others should start thinking about what they really are enjoying or getting out of this crap now. If they (or their children) had to trust someone with their lives, would they entrust their lives to JW and Bani or would they take a chance with Pia and AD?
The fact that JB inspired many of our FF writers to write so creatively is a clear indicator that the serial was at one point of time going the right way. The original storyline was so inspiring to our FF writers. If today they are losing their interest, it is a clear sign that something is going wrong

Some people are trying to justify the vulgar twisting of our culture with the intimate/kissing scenes of June 19. I don't think intimacy between husband and wife is vulgar or alien to any culture (including our culture). But raping your brother-in-law or bigamy or falsely framing your mother-like sister in a murder case or leaving your children for a hot guy or marrying two guys in a day, is not part of any decent culture. We can justify to a kid why husbands and wives kiss (I think basic human reactions like kissing, hugging or embracing is something everyone sees and accepts) but we can't explain the other things to a kid. Does this make it more clear as to what is decent and what is not?

For all those people who find JB useless and who admire the smartness of people like AD and Pia, why don't we have AD and Pia coming together while leaving poor JW and Bani with each other? This I think should satisfy all the viewers (both the JB camp and the AD camp). AD will find somebody more suited to his 'intelligence' and 'sophistication' while the cultured JW and Bani can live comfortably together (which is what they would anyway do the moment those jokers at Balaji remove all those misconceptions).

Ammu.
