If Pia indeed is JW's fatal attraction how do we explain:

During the PR raaz fiasco, JW was the only person who tried to get Pia and Pushkar back together.
On KC nite, JW was a broken man who had lost all faith in relationships, he had been handed a divorce paper, his child had been aborted by his wife, he was all alone and drunk. And yet Pia needed to resort to drugs to get him. And mind you it may still be possible that nothing happened that night.
For all his Mera Bachcha Mera Bachcha antics, Pia could never get JW to attend Lamaze Class or go to checkups with her.
After the ONS was out, JW kicked her out of WM, not once but twice.
Five years on, JW's "need as a man" has still not given Pia what she wants, status as Mrs. Vollaya.
He is still not able to love HIS OWN child with Pia, Veer, as much his children with Bani.

A bit difficult to explain, no?

I am afraid if we want to locate someone with a Fatal Attraction for Pia, we have to look elsewhere:

A person who far from rebuking Pia for eloping from her mandap (and indeed becuase of whom she herself had to enter into an unwanted alliance) actually helped her get married to fellow backstabber Pooch.
A person who far from breaking off her ties with Pia, after she had cold bloodedly murdered her innocent unborn, risked her own married life and her kid to arrange money for her surgery brought about by her own callousness.
A person who was running around looking for the Papa of Pia's illegitimate kid with God knows what intention rather than attending to her own marriage.
A person who did everything under the sun- getting her back into WM, taking off her own mangalsutra etc- to mollycoddle the rapist of her own hubby.

An attraction does not necc mean an ongoing attraction even a one time
attraction that till today has consequences

In the context of the pov of the post, she is indeed JW's fatal attraction--
its not about JW wanting to be with her --its more about her wanting to
be with her property, her obsession JW, her JW who was attracted to her at
one point in time--it was her that at one point was the object of his
affection--

Yes in the above situations Pia does come across as very much the
obsessive, delusional psychotic lover of JW--she went to great lengths to
obtain her object of affection--and today, she holds his greatest
weakness in her hands--Bani's children and in that regard she does pull
his strings

Well of course, how is it possible when a woman destroyed his whole
being --to love her child who she claims to be his--he should jsut have a
DNA test done --why trust the word of this psychotic rapist murderer

bride to be at one point, btw is still in his house--

On another note: to show its not fatal attraction he could simply kill
pia. so what if saahil's tape reaches the police, bani is dead. he doesnt
have to share custody of the children with Pia--he can kill her and cover
the evidence or better yet frame her for Sahil's murder or try to do
something whre she gets implicated and thrown in the MA --and he gets
full custody of his kids..So he is indeed very much the victim here as his
abuser holds the major cards in her hands and he is not able to use his
brains....

out of the definition given to the word fatal atraction, i would like to , still, say that, first the weakness was just because of bani's sister, his mistake is equal(atleast he thought), etc... then pregnant... ther was no attachment to heart... he never replaced bani's place with pia nor i think that pia was said loved once but never had placed herself in his heart as bani did.

then about her attraction... there is no attraction than greed in her case ...

at the end it was all bani's false step to ignore jai's warning not to trust her sister which caused all these... even after these she still believe what pia said it true and want to take revenge on jai... she couldn't even think that there will be some thing behind as jai walia did when she hide the reason behind the divorce drama... so much for that..

There maybe. Just maybe. After all JW was willing to write away his wealth in her favor if she would allow him, Bani and the kids to go away, but she didnt agree cos she wanted to be Mrs. Vollaya for whatever reason.

Yes, majumdar. It's non other than our St Bani. In mothering her lil sisters, she forgot one cardinal rule. In order to make the kids more responsible, you have to teach them to 'Clean up Their Own Mess'. But, Bani always overlooked pia's flawed outlook. Instead of giving Pia a dressing down she always covered up. This gave Pia a false impression that her way is the right way to get things done.

As AP said, Pia was HW's fatal attraction alright, but I would like to add that it was bani's OCD for Pia that boomeranged rt back at her face.

I agree rose. Her repeated 'I love u Mr. Vollaya', shouldn't interpreted as true love (does she even know the meaning). It's the moolah she is after. If she finds another person more richer (& powerful) than JW, (AD in this case), who she thinks is interested in bani, she wouldn't blink before going after him.

But, in all this discussion, I agree with AP in one regard. That is, JW being the victim. Yes. He has been a victim in the hands of Dixit parivar at one time or other. Be it KD (with her suicide), Rano (when she found out about his ONS and kinda blackmailed him), Pia (of course) and his beloved Bani ( with his repeated warnings about Pia's nature, she brings her back into WM and removes her ms, just not to offend her lil sis).
