Even though Prachi Desai plays the role of a subdued Bani in Zee€™s Kasamh Se, the actress portrayed a very different side of her personality at a shoot on Wednesday.
Sources on the set reveal that Desai locked herself up in a vanity, van refusing to cooperate and shoot for the show.
Call for help
The reason was her displeasure over being asked to sit for a wedding scene, where she€™s wearing a ghoonghat. Revealed an unitwalla, €œPrachi wanted to rest and asked us to give her more time.
But the camera was ready and everyone was waiting for her. We tried to explain the situation to her, but she just went into the vanity van and locked herself up. Finally, we had to call the creative head, Sandiip Sikcand, and ask him to help.€
Added another actor on the show, €œPrachi was shooting non-stop for the last few days. So her reaction was justified. She kept requesting them to use a body double, since the scene required her to be in a ghoonghat. However, they wanted her to shoot to make sure they got the correct body language.€
€˜Stressed out€™
When we contacted Prachi for her version, the actress said, €œThere is absolutely no truth in what you have heard. It€™s like the many rumours that flaot around the sets.€
Sandiip gave his account of the drama on the sets. €œPrachi was just stressed out from working long hours. The whole thing is blown out of proportion. She did shoot with us after resting for a while.€
