Simply amazing Armaan...!!!

Here I'm... and trying to say something but earnestly I dont think I have enough words to describe what you written. It indeed requires a talent and outstading prain to produce a remarkable piece of work like this.""" 👏 👏 👏

I have read more than once as I got little confuse which part was written about the past. But now after reading all of them again I'm very happy to say that I'm immensly convinced and very happy about where the story is heading. 😃

The quotes and the songs were amazing.. please keep it up as they're ... !!!

I might not comment as you post the part. But you can count on it and have my words , that I'll be leaving my comment behind once I read.. like I did now. !!!

Finally I'll be looking forward to read all the next parts and thank you for all your efforts for entertaining us... we really all appreciate that! 😃

I'm sure everyone will agree with me for that...!

Aww...so he stays at the guest house of the church/college, and next is definitely the meeting between two hurt souls.😃

Cant wait for the next part from you soon dear.😃

Finally breaking the silence I must say a good part though action missing 😆 😉 but worth it. Somehow I find the JW of your FF a little difficult to decipher cause he has so many layers to him that makes him a little complicated but yet so predictable character. Beneath that tough facade lies a man who is just as vulnerable as everyone else around him. Interestingly the JW of KS is the one who discovered true love(read not affection or infatuation), something , he never thought existed in him. But your JW knows what he is made of and thus prevents himself from being hurt by making assumptions. He prefers to lethis bains rule over his heart even in matter of love. Correct me if I am wrong in understanding this character.

mahimn,
that's a pretty interesting analysis of JW. never quite thought of it that way, I tend to write....just write...not really sit and analyse before hand. Usually do that after reading the comments!
But to engage with your reading:
one, in ks we got JW at 40, post engagement fiasco with Roshni, post Uday Walia's lousy behaviour and JW at 40 was lonely, ready to fall in love: hence Pia. Again, he was just as vulnerable as the JW in tfs. Or so i think.

Here effectively is the story of JW in the making.....a normal young man who learns that love is an illusion, that people (especially women) cannot be trusted, and that being alone is the prefered state of being.
And post the truth about both Krishna and Roshni, does not think himself capable of love either.
Even when he gets together with Roshni, he does not think it is love: rather the kind of companionship which eases loneliness.
Which is precisely how JW in KS slowly but surely began to accept and eventually fall in love with bani.
And that habit of assumptions, hey i got that strictly from ks! JW was always making the wrong assumptions about Bani! And calling her a prostitute! (which is why i chose to combine both together)
And at the end of the day, i think after a certain point, the characters dictate how they wish to behave in a story and that is as true of J&B in TFS as any other. Hey, in BH i never planned for a Tarun-Pia ONS. but when i wrote that part it just dictated itself.....
OK, this was a long ramble.
I hope some part of it at least made some sense!

one because in ks he did that without any pretext at all and that has always revolted me. I wanted to re-write the accusation but in my own way....where even as JW's habit of jumping to conclusions came through so did at least a slender pretext. Even though clutching at that pretext reveals more about JW's lack of trust tahn anything else.
two, Barnali's character at one level did not make a personal difference to him. In his heart he knows he is attracted to this Bani like he never has been to anyone (except a stranger) but his brains and experinece tell him Bani is too good to be true.....and so he keeps pushing.....
Hope that makes sense!
For the record he did not use the word wh*** for Bani either, just stated it very implicitly!

Armana

Love the update, as usual

Ah! The terrible secret of Udai Walia and the EMA and the illegitimate child. I guess Jigyasa knew it all along but what a sad way to learn the truth about a parent?

I guess the tone is set for the big meeting, Yeah?

Great update, as usual!!

Where should I start here, A? I think we have dissected the nuances well enough already! 😉 😆

Not posting any particular comments on this part, but some general observations for the FF:

a) The JW in the FS is the most Complex JW created till date! (Complex, not Complicated!)Its impossible to predict what he is upto or what his next reaction will be! Hell, maybe that is why he is so devilishly attractive 😳 (I can see Sangs coming after me with her Belan! 😆 )

b) You seem to add a new layer / dimension to his character in every part...yet, in the most amazing way, managing to keep JW a completely believeable character!

c) The mastery over words, story flow and langauge is flawless. And that mind you, is an understatment!

d) Bani in the FS come across as more complete, more mature and infintely more admirable human being / character than even JW.....and your JW is just perfect!😊 So you can imagine for yourself, how much I like the Bani in this story!

e) The FF stands out with its inherent simplicity in depicting human emotions, yet is one of the most complex stories I have read till date (Not just on the Forum, in general too!)

f) FS is truly a testimony to the age old adage, "Love for a man is a part of his Life ; For a woman, its her whole Life!" 😃 (Haven't phrased it verbatim!)

g) One of those rare FF / Stories which pay detailed attention to emotions and feelings than the superfluous! The shifting timeline has been done to perfection, albeit it requires great deal of concentration to figure things out by the reader!😳 (You know whom I am referring to!)

h) The narrative is so vivid, that you can actually visulalize the characters in flesh as you read them! Be it the description of the Paintings or the Farmhouse, or be it Jai's anguish when he is not able to trust his insticts or be it Bani's pain, you can just feel it!

Am really looking forward to the next part! 😃

Love,

MT
