Have to tell that u hv indeed come up with a lovely post 👏 ! And as far as Archie and yr views itself, its not only the actor but also the character which leaves a impact on the viewers and becomes the most famous actor/character!
I need not say who is my most favourite 😳 being in Munna's camp and a true J&B despo! But I think Hiten Tejwani as Pratham did a fantastic job and was craze among the young girls along with Sujal who made waves in the television, even though the first superhit television star was Amar as Mihir Virani due to which Ekta had to bring back to character for viewers sake and the rest is history! And Bajaj need not say more about him as everyone knows that he is the highest paid actor male in Indian television and all thanks to Ekta!

forget balaji 😆 males the greatest male character in a serial full stop is nahar singh from saath phere he slots every category... 😳

Nina,

I could have understood every comment on JW, but he lacks Warmth as a character?😕😕😕

That is just about the most ironical thing anyone could have said (With all due respects to your opinion!)

JW has got to be the most humane and human of all Balaji Male Protogonists! His character though definitely larger than life, is still so believable and identifiable! The kind with whom we can not only sympathize fully but also emphathize, one quality which I find missing in all the aforementioned male characters!

JW might have a thousand faults and failings and RK does have a tendency to go a little bit over the top at times, but overall, I feel that JW is the most structured and well-etched Balaji Male Character! (I guess a lot of credit also goes to his chemistry with PD and earlier with Ashwini in bringing out the essence of JW!)

I like Brijesh Singh better than Nahar! Akshay Anand is such a cutie!😳

Love,

MT

Hiten as Pratham can said to be the role model for future characters like Angad (KYPH) / Shiv (KAA) / Kunal (KHNK)! Have to admit that it was only because of Hiten and his tremendous chemistry with Gauri, that had me so addicted to Kutumb
***Yes MT, even though Hiten claims that karan was/is bigger than Pratham we cannot deny that Pratham was the most lovable character (aggressive character created) in Television (just my opinion)! And I would say that IQ, EJ and others just followed the same trend!
And as far as Sujal aka RK is concerned he was amazing as Sujal in KTH (cannot deny the fact what Ekta said that he is nobody after KTH, inspite of a huge fan following) and he is not able to create anything closeby till date! I dont think his character in LRL or Time Bombo were any great nor a show as KTH was when he was around!

No its fine i dont mind that 😊 ....i do honestly think that though i know lots of people like him but i dont know theres something about his character that i just feel is missing.....each time i see his character i don know something just does not click.....i dont hate jais character anymore like i did at one point hes just not my favourite...i said i think he lacks warmth because each time i see his character i just see him as a confused person....i did like him till after the park road raaz though 😳

I agree he is probably the most identifiable and realistic though.... being a drama he is gonna have a larger to life side...they still made him out to be human though guess thats what his appeal is...

I like Brijesh Singh better than Nahar! Akshay Anand is such a cutie!😳 What do you think of his glasses lots of people dislike them but i do think its added a appeal ...😛

***Nina, I think no one is able to show or potray the role with the passion what RK was able to do as JW in KS! Nahar doesnt even come close to his character nor acting!

Ash,

Karan Virani was a total wimp🤢 A guy who couldn't stand up for his love, who couldn't stand up for his Mother, who couldn't stand against his brother, blah blah!

And he says that Karan Virani is bigger than Pratham Mittal? Hiten is only degrading one of his best portrayals onscreen by comparing an endearing character like Pratham to a loser like Karan!🤢

Pratham Mittal was the first seriously grey-shaded male leads in Balaji Soaps and just watching him go after Gauri, playing mind-games with her was enough to make me go weak in my knees😳

What did you think of Ram Kapoor as Rahul in Ghar Ek Mandir? His chemistry with wife Gautami was incredible!

Cheers,

MT

***Yes MT! I actually started watching this show and would watch it again if its telecasted, as I think nothing or no one could hv done it better than Hiten did as Pratham or he is able to create the same thing any other chracters inspite of his charm! And the chemistry with Gauri was wah wah 😳 ! I always wanted them to together and they ended up together 😛 ! Hiten himself said in an award function that Ekta promised him Karan would be bigger than Pratham and he believes it is! I really liked him as Karan in initial episodes as he had grey shades initially but later he just became a puppet in Tulsi's hand and his character was ruined😡

What did you think of Ram Kapoor as Rahul in Ghar Ek Mandir? His chemistry with wife Gautami was incredible!
***And I watched this show only for their chemistry u know! As Ekta had made the same story in Tamil and I had watched it in between and after the huge hit in Tamil she made it in Hindi which went well till RK was in it and then winded up fast as RK left! I mean co-incidently wanted this couple also to be a real in life and they ended up as husband and wife 😆

OMG, he looks so cute with his glasses😳 I used to be a big fan of Akshay Anand, since his Indradhanush Days! I guess you might not even have been born when his first serial called Indradhanush used to be aired😆

Akshay must have been 18 or something at that time and he played this bullying older brother to the Hero! It was a Teenage Fiction Series which used to be aired on Doordarshan! Akshay became such a craze amongst young girls at that time!

He was amazing in a serial called Thoda Hai, Thode ki, zaroorat hai!

I really feel he is one actor who never got his due, despite such talent!

Can totally understand your feeling on JW! He is one of those characters whom you will either like a lot or won't like at all!

Love,

MT

Hmm thats true i dont know i think its easier if i explain why i like nahars character 😳i think the fact that hes a normal husband to a extent and him and saloni have a great marriage..hes not a saint ...at the moment they are on the verge of breaking up...howeve when he shows emotions you do genuinly feel for him...not just that hes lovable guy and they dont just show him and saloni they show him as a family guy his relationship with bhabo..salonis family...brijesh...to be honest jai too can be said the same with massis relationship and aditya, pushkar etc..his family however the key difference is i find Jai whos meant to be this strong man to confused..to indecisive at times...nahars alot more decisive he stands by what he says ....

what have i started 😆jws just not my type of character...like my good friend shaz the keeper of the holy belna said to me its a k serial everyones confused ...lol

MT,Ash...

I agree with u both on this..PM is opne of best ekta's male character.
the char holded its pace thruout the serial, never he was shown weak!!! Thank God Ekta ended the serial at right time on a right note and didnot drag it!!!else it would hav been another destroyed serial.
the best part of PM was he was shown to hav brains, esp the way he deals with the other women scenario it was the best.
