Chap 38

They entered the boutique.. Beautiful clothes surrounded them. They asked the sales person for Bridal wears…she led them to the back of the boutique.
They looked around
Pia-"there are bridal kameez,bridal suits (choli suit whatever they are called) and bridal sari's..what yopu want?'

Bani-"I don't know lets see the designs first.."

Jai and Ritesh were standing at one place while the girls looked around…they were looking at the choli suits in a rack…same rack but from opposite direction…they finally saw a suit that they both adored…they picked up the hanger…but out came only one….they had chosen the same suit… Bani let go of her hands. And offered it to Pia

Bani-"tumpe zyada achi lagegi..tum le lo.."
Pia-"nahi ..it will look better on you….tum le lo."

Ritesh and Jai were watching.

Jai thinking…he could relate with suit. Both sisters wanted it but offered the other …"

The girls asked the sales person if there was another piece of the same suit ..they had and the girls..tried it and bought it…Jai and Ritesh were looking around at the grooms sherwani section till the girls cashed in..

Ritesh to Bani-"yaar..ek hi mandap…ek din…ek hi tarah ki shaadi ka joda….pliz abh mujhe or jai ko same kapde mat pehnwa dena.."

Pia-"don't worry JIJU..kuch nahi mila to Dhoti aur Banyan mai shaadi kar lena.."
They laughed .

They looked through the sherwani's ..Bani found a cute sherwani..It was a off white colour with red shawl and tiklis…..she took that and showed to them

Bani-"how about this one..?

Ritesh-"its really good…but don't u think it might get dirty easily..?
Jai-"its nice..Pia…can I hae this one…if u havnt chosen any."
Pia-"its really nice Bani….Jai tum le lo…
Ritesh-"Bani ..i like this one …just check if they have it in another colour….?'

They found the same design in light brownish colour. .they bought it/..

Bani-"its 5.pm..'

Pia-"mumi ne kaha tha ki they will shop for all the jewerally..

Bani-"oh no gold.."

Pia-"yes … they know we hate gold that's why they will do the shopping.how about we go home now and meet up tonight for dinner .."

Bani –im fine with that ..Ritesh?"

Jai got jealous that she asked Ritesh…. Ritesh put his hands around Bani's waist … that made smoke come out of Jai's eyes and ears…

Ritesh-"anything to be with u honey.."

Pia-"so we meet at…?"
Bani-pizza king.."
Jai-"yes...Pizza King."

Ritesh-"cool"

They go home…Ritesh drops Bani home

Chap 39
At 8 Ritesh came to pick Bani .Jai and Pia were already tat the pizza kings ..They were seated at the back. It was a circular table..the light was dim. a romantic atmosphere if Ritesh and Pia weren't here…jai thought.

Pia-"so what to order?"

They ordered large spicy chicken pizza…

Pia-"Bani …Friday ko mehndi hai.."
Bani-"ha mum told me..
Pia-"aren't u exicited for teh wedding....its gona be so.."
Ritesh-"Im….man..its sucha special thing....

While Pia and Ritesh were talking….Bani saw Jai….he was telling her that he will not let the wedding happen …

After dinner..They went for a stroll ,,,Bani ,Ritesh held hands while Pia and jai were walking side by side..jai thinking - I have to stop this wedding somehow…he had a plan….

They said ..Goodnight..and went home..

Someone else was also thinking about how to stop Bani getting married to Ritesh…but who???

Next morning ..was thursaday.Bani was sleeping ..her mum came to wake her up.

Parvati-"Its 9.30 ..do din mai tumhari shaadi hai aur tum so rahi ho…utho…naha kar aaoo..i get the breakfast ready..

Bani has her bath…before she steps out of her room her cells rings..it was a new number.-
Bani- "heloo???"
Deep Voice-"shaadi todh doh....tum Ritehs ke saath Shaadi mat karna.."

Bani-"whatever .."

Bani hangs up thinking its one of Jai's tricks…

But the cell rings again
Voice-" break this marriage…break it…or u will have to pay the price…Im warning you..

Bani-"this is not Funny…."
Voice-" IM WARNING YOU >>>STAY AWAY FROM RITESH>>BREAK THE MARRIAGE"

Bnai-"like im going to listen to you..
The man hangs up/…

Bani thought –jai si just too much. She has to talk him straight…

Parvati was serving Bani ..breakfast

Parvati-"kal mehndi hai …tayari karni hai…aur tum aaraam se soh rahi thi….

The landline phone rings..in the other room ..Paravti answers..
Parvati-"heloo"

Lady voice-Parvati beta ..mai tumhari mausi bol rahi hu …gao se…mujhetumhari beti ki shadi ki patrika mili..im sorry to say that ..my ?

Masi starts to cry….
Parvati-"kya hua..Masi…?"

Masi-"meri saas ka….she is dead..and I called to tell u the wedding cannot take place..

Paravti-"o im sorry…par shaadi..

Masi-"yaha matam mann raha hai aur tumhe shaadi ki...."
Parvati-"im sorry..masi//"

Masi hangs up.. saying that she will call Basnti…(pia's mum)

Basnti cam e to Bani's house 15 minutes later.

Chap 40

(THE CONTENT IS NOT TRUE THAT IS THE CULTURE AND STUFF EXPLAINED BELOW ARE ALL MADE UP )
Basanti-"did u hear?"
Paravti-"yes..i got the call..but didn't Masi's voice sound a liitle weird..

Basanti-"I know…but she isn't pur real Masi….in the gao…we could carry on with the wedding"

Parvati-"no ..i think we should speak to the pundit first..

Bani came down form her room
Bani-"kya hua?"

Parvati told her about teh call from Masi and her funny voice..
Bani at once knew it was Jai again….

She went up to her room and called Jia.

Jai –"goodmorning..Bani.."

Bani-"what's all this.."
Jai-"what?"
Bani-"Don't act o.k. just called Mum and Basnti to call off the wedding…u are…."
Jai-"ok…fine..yes it was me…what was I supposed to do…."
Bani-"you' re sick first threatening me and then calling mum..

Jai-"threatening you…what are u talking about"
Bani -"you called me this morning threatening me to call off the wedding remember.. u one sick person.."
Jai-"I faked the call from Masi but I didn't threaten u or make the call.."
Bani-"well some one did…"

Jai-"see someone also wants you to call off the wedding…but now the wedding is off for sometime…all because of me.."

Bani-"you will still marry Pia "

She hangs up...

Parvati called the pundit about the problem and said that in such cases weddings can take place in 4 months.

So it was deiced that both the weddings will happen 4 months later

Bani was relieved that at least she had 4 months time now..The wedding wouldn't be too early…Ritesh was with his dad in politics..His dad had very high hopes for him..

That night Pia and Bani went to Jai's Place for dinner., Ritesh would be arriving a little later.. Rashi had invited them for dinner..No one was at home only jai and Bhabhi.

Bani-"thanks for inviting us Bhabhi.."
Rashi-"hmm …Ritesh kaha hai?"
Jai smiling-"maybe he wouldn't make it.."

Bani -"vo ata hi hoga."

Rashi-"I heard the wedding is postponed.."

Pia-yes.."

Rashi-"oh well….im in the kitchen ..you guys sit ..im coming.."

Bani-"I wil help.."

Pia-"no..Bani.. i will help Bhabhi waise bi Shaadi ke baad im under her supervsion.."

Rashi didn't like Pia but didn't say anything…Pia followed her to the kitchen

Jai and Bani were alone in the living room.Jai stared at Bani ,but Bani didn't say a word…Jai had made life worse anyhow..

Jai finally spoke-"you love me ,…I know u are hiding it I know….but just admit it Bani..and everything will be like u wanted before ………now even the wedding is postponed…"

Bani-"exactly jai ..Before, ,that's what I wanted before …not now ..i wat Ritesh now…get it in your head..

Jai-"quit lying.."

Bani-"you can think whatever you want"

Jai-"Bani,,"

Ritesh entered. Said hi kissed Bani's forehead, and asked where Bhabhi was…the he went to meet her in the kitchen.

Bani-"that's who I want…. accept it

Chap 41

Rashi, Ritesh and Pia come out of the kitchen with dishes and set the table..

They have dinner and then sit in the living room

Ritesh- I will leave now. I have to help dad with his meeting.."

Pia-"I think I will go to…I have some office work left..Bani,"

Rashi-"Bani can I talk to u .?"

Bani-"tum jao Pia..i will go hme later.."

Pia leaves..
Jai is watching tv..

Rashi takes Bani into the kitchen..

Rashi-"Bani..You look all tensed. . What's wrong ?"

Bani-"ask Jai."

Rashi called Jai into the kitchen..

Jai-"kya hua Bhabhi..?"

Rashi-"what did u say to Bani? why do you keep on hurting her.?"

Jai-"Ask her ..she is hurting me not me.."

Rashi-"What?"
Jai-"aa..i… I love Bani and and she loves me but she is not admitting "

Rashi-"you are getting married to Pia..i though you loved Pia.."

Jai told Rashi that he liked Bani from before and….

Bani-"stop this nonsense Jai..this isn't a game and you are not going to hurt Pia.."

Jai-"And what about me?and you?you are hurting both of us…"

Bani-"I don't ok..i don't…(breathing out) I don't love you..ok…Bhabhi im leaving..Goodnight..
Bani leaves..Rashi goes to her bedroom

Its 1am .Pia, Bani ,Jia cannot sleep,,,Pia comes to the window to take fresh air,,,and sees Jai was coming out of his house and sneaking into Bani's room….

Pia thought-"whats he doing?..
Pia started having lots of questions pop up in her head.

She remembered that Jai sneaked into Bani's room from when they were kids …..Pia calmed herself down…

Bani heard a knock on her window..she knew it was Jai ,…
She opened the window..
Bani-"kya hai..?
Jai –"can iat least come in..?

Bani-"whatever.."
Jai came in.

Bani-"don't u get tired of this…running after me for nothing.."

Jai-"I have 4 months.."
Bani-"what?"
Jai-"4 months to convince you that I love you with all my heart."

Bani-"im tired of hearing this..

Jai-"im not.."

Bani-„you are just a friend Jai.;.ok.."

Jai-"stop bluffing..

Bani-"im not"

Jai(SINGING)-„ i love u ..u love me....we are abig…something family..with a great big hug (he tried to hug her but she pushed him) and a kiss from me to you..wont u say you love me too…"

Jai-"time for my kiss.."

Bani-"I cannot killl u but i can push u off the window and I will.."

Jai-"you cannot.."
Jai coming closer to Bani..

Bani-" you asked for it.."

She tries to push jia out the window but he was too strong.he pushed her and they bothfell on Bani's bed

Bani was on the bed Jai on top of het ..her face just inches away form jai's
