CHAPTER 12

-Bani is about to say somethign to Jai...- (sorry in advance...i hope ke mujhe juute nahin pade...i know i made it seem like she may say sumthign more on the last chapter))

J- Bani kya baath hai, what do u need to tell me?
B- Woh.... Thank You..
J- Bani...maine...
B- Main janti hoon ke aap ne kahaan ke no thank you's lekin i must. Aapne mujhe iss bracelet diya aur phir exams ki baadh woh treat. It was very nice. I know ki Anu aur Jiggs ko bohot aacha laga. Humne bohot mehenat ki exams ke liye. We needed that break. So thats why Thank You.
J- Bani...sirf Jigyasa aur Anu ko aacha laga...tumhe nahin...
B- Woh...nahin...mujhe bhi...
J- Its ok chodo...and your welcome...tum mere mangater ho toh koi baath nahin.
(Jai turn around to leave but stops, Bani thinks he has more to say but...)
J- Tum log aab bahar aah sakteh ho, chup ne ki koi zarurat nahin hai. Main janta hoon ke tum theeno darwaze ke piche se saab batheen surahi ho.
(Just then a guilty looking Jigyasa, Anu and Rano come in to the shock of Bani; Jai just laughs and leaves)
B- Tum log bhi na...koi privacy nahin hai mujhe!
R- Didi abhi toh shaadi bhi nahin hui aur aap ko abhi se privacy chahiyeh.
A- Bani...kya hai yeh...
B- UFFF....tum logo se toh main khabi nahin jeet sakti.
Jig- Chod yaar...lets finish the movie.
(They go back to the movie and to talking about the shopping plans for tomorrow. They are up unitl past 1am when they finally decide to go to bed. As Bani is going to her room with Rano she sees the light on Jai's study is on. When she peeks in she sees him asleep on the sofa w/ a file open and the wind is blowing. Jai is shivering but still not awake. Rano sees this and just keeps walking noticing that Bani is about to go into the study. Bani goes in and get a blanket from Jai's room since it is connected, and puts it over Jai. She just stands there for a second and then leaves. Jai is still asleep.)

(Next morning everyone is up and eating breakfast)
Anu- Aacha Jiggs aaj kahaan jaana hai shooping ke liye.
Jig- Ji humara bhaia ka clear instructions hai ke hum Bani ko vahaan lekar jaiyeh jahaan uski pasand. Everythign and everywhere that Bani sahibba wants.
R- Wow...Didi so lucky...shopping spree.
B- RANO!
Adi- Aare Bani dont yell at her. She is right. Hum saab ladke bhi shopping ke liye jaarahe hai.
S- Haan, after all humara Jai bhaia ka bhi shaadi hai.
M- Aacha yeh baath hai. Very good. (Jai then comes down)
J- Massi thank you
M- Kiss ke liye munna?
J- Woh massi aapne kaal raath mere upar blanket dala iss liye. Kaal main toh study mein soh gayi.
M- (confused) Maine toh nahin.
J- Dadi aap?
D- Nahin puttar, main bhi nahin.
J- Jig...Nahin
R- Actually Bani didi tha. Hum jaab aapne kamre mein lot rahi thi to didi ne dheka ke aap study mein hai, aur aapko niend aagayi. So didi ne aap par blanket dal diya.
(Bani blushes and everyone else and a grin on their faces even Jai.)
J- Bani thank you...
B- Aap hi ne kahaan tha ke no thank you' s aur aab aap hi thank you bohl rahe hai.
J- Oh woh...
S- Chodiyeh na bhaia lets go.
J- Kahaan, mujhe kaam hai.
A- Hey ram, ma, massi aap ki kuch boliye iss ko.
J- Kya...???
M- Aare munna kuch din baad tumhara shaadi hai, aab toh kaam chod doh.
A- Haan Jai, aaj hum shopping ke liye jaayenge.
S- Bhaia aap maana nahin karsakte.
J-Aacha baba chalo.
D- Ek minute puttar. Bani, Jai idar aaho.
(They both go to Dadi)
D- Aaj tum dono shopping ke liye jaahrahe ho toh...Jai tu Bani ki shaadi ka joda select karega aur Bani beti tu Jai ka. Surprise aacha rahega.
M- Wah Biji, bilkul.
S- Dadi kya superb idea.
A- Haan Dadi, aab chale hum.
(They all go shopping in their separate groups, girls and guys.)

GIRLS:
(They all go to the bridal botique to pick Jais outfit)
B- Aare Jiggs, woh tumhari bhai hai, unki pasand kya hia...
A- Aare Bani, aab Jai sir, aur Mr. Walia se "woh"...haye...
(they all laugh)
Jig- Mujhe nahin paata, tumko toh pata hai ki how bhaia dresses, boring.
R- Saach didi, jiju wears boring colors.
(Bani comes across a very nice outfit for Jai. It is a nice sherwani set w/ chunri/scarf. It is a rich beige/cream color with nice hand designs all over in brown, beige, gold and light accents of pink.)
A- aare wah Bani, nice selection. Jai bhaia will look totally hot.
Jig- Aare Bani, tumhe kaise paata ki bhaia ko pink color pasand hai. He dosent wear it but he has a weakness for it.
B- Mujhe nahin paata tha, i just like it.
R- Aacha, phir toh hum yehi kehe sakte ke aap ke dil unke dil ko jante hai.
(They laugh and have a great time, they all pick out dresses for themselves. Bani gets saris for after the wedding. They order the flowers. All orchids, Banis favorite and White lilys, Jais favorite. Bani remembers seeing some on his desk in the study. Everything is set)

GUYS: (same time as the girls)
(Aditya is looking at the outfits very closely, thinking which will look good on Jigyasa. Not paying attention to Jai or Sahil)
S- Aare Adi bhaia, aap ko toh dekh kar lagta hai ki aap aapne mangater ke liye set chun raahe hai.
A- woh...Sahil...tum bhi na...Main toh baas Jai ke liye...
S- Haan haan, mujhe saab paata hai.
A- (in his head) U just wait sahil. One of these days ill get u for all this torture.
(Then they see Jai eyeing a beautiful gagra for Bani. It is pink (shocker lol)...it is a very light pink. It has heavy designs on the choli and liberal on teh gagra, very georgous. The work is in gold.)
S- Ufff bhaia, pink...aap ko is raang se kya rishta hai...humesha pink.
J- I dont know, i just love this color. It brings out the beauty of every woman.
A- Jai, troda romance kaam kaar yaar, its just me and Sahil here.
J- (blushing)...woh...shut up!
(At that Sahil and Adi bust out laughing. They finish their shopping and Jai get a Bani a special gift. They just chill the rest of the day.)

(Everyone gets home at around the same time so they all sit and chat for a while. Tony brings them Banis favorite, samosas and tea)
S- Bani bhabi aap jab bhaia ke choices dekhenge na toh dekhte rehe jaayenge. Kya selection hai.
Anu- Aacha yeh baath hai. Humari Bani bhi kuch kaam nahin hai jiju. Isski selection ka toh koi jawab nahin hai.
J- Bani shopping tik raha na.
B- Ji, everything was fine. Saab tayaariyan ho chuke.
M- Aare tum log chaiye toh pio na, tand hojayega.
B- Aare Jiggs yaad aya...Thanks
Jig- Welcome...lekin kiis ke liye.
B- Woh...jaab main exams ke liye padrahi thi to tumne Tony ki hatoon mere liye samosas aur chaiye bheja tha na.
Jig- yaar, idea to good hai, lekin maine nahin kia.
B- Tum ne nahin toh kaun...? (Then Tony walks in)
B- Aare Tony, tum mere liye samosas aur chaiye kiis ke kehene paar laate?
T- Mame woh, Mr. Walia ne kahaan tha ke har roz aap ko samosas aur chaiye dhena tha jaab aap study mein teh .
(Bani looks at Jai who is pretending not to listen to it. Everyone else is looking at Bani and Jai, all laughing and grinning to themselves)
B- Aap ne, magar aapko kaise paate ke...
J- Bani, tum mere biwi ho, well almost, toh mujhe paata hona chahiye ke tumko kya pasand hai aur kya nahin.
B- Woh...Thank You.
S- Haye kya pyaar hai, first Bani bhabi with the blanket and now bhaia with the samosas. Aare bhaia hume bhi toh kich sikayeh.
J- Sahil.
S- Aacha hume nahin, lekin Adi bhaia ko toh kuch ideas dijiye. After all Adi bhaia ko ladki patana hai.
A- (kind of chokes on his tea casuing everyone to look at him funny) Sahil tu bhi na...mazak humesha tik nahin hai.
S- Aap se kiis ne kahaan ke main mazak kar rahi hoon?
J- Tum dono, chodo. Chalo its late aur kaal gaar mein party hai.

(They all get up to go to sleep while Bani stays behind a few minutes to clean up. Jai comes down again and sees Bani cleaning and decides to help her. They do this in silence, and then both begin to go to their own rooms)
J- Bani really thanks for the blanket, i would have caught a cold if it wasnt for u. When im asleep im out, nothing can wake me.
B- No problem, aur, aap ko bhi thank you Mr. Walia. For everything.
J- No problem. Good night.
B- Ji good night Mr. Walia

...Chapter 13...Its the ladys sangeet and mehendi ceremony...there will be dancing and singing....and a huge shock...stay tuned to see what it is...

CHAPTER 13

-Its the night of the mehendi and ladys sangeet, thus no guys allowed. Massi and dadi have organized a little party out on the garden for the guys and their friends. Anu, Rano and Jigyasa are getting Bani ready upstairs. Meanwhile Jai is getting ready accompanied by Aditya and Sahil. Massi and Dadi are taking care of the guests downstaris and getting the mehendi ready.-

Girls Room:
A- Bani jaldi yaar, kabse bathroom mein ho tum!
Jig- I know, what r u doing?
R- Didi im getting sleepy and the party hasnt even started!
(Just then Bani walks out of the bathroom wearing a beautiful olive green gagra choli. It is embroidered with gold and navy blue. And she has on lots of bangles that make a beautiful sound when her hands move.)
R- Didi, wahKkya baath hai.
A- HailaKjiju toh dekhte rehe jayenge.
Jig- Duffer, jai bhaia will not be there, aaj toh sirf ladkiyaan.
R- O thats too bad, varna jiju toh bilkul pagal hojate. (winks at bani causing her to blush)
(The three girls procede to putting on Banis jswelary. She has beautiful gold jhunkas for her ears, gold layered necklace and a gerogous bindi. They put the last touch, a single violte orchid behind her ears.)
Jig- Haye, kiisi ki nazar na lage.
(The girls go downstairs to see if they r ready to begin leaving Bani alone in the room. She is standing by the window facing the garden. Then she hears sumthing)
Voice- (wisper) BaniKBaniK
(She tris to see who it is but cant see anything. She just ignores it, thinking its just nerves getting the best of her.)

Guys Room: (at the same time)
(Jai is wearing a black kurta set. It is also embroiderd with black and white thread work. Not too fancy but still makes him look killer ƒ )
Adi- Jai yaar, aaj ma aur massi ne humara sara intezam garden pe kyun kia?
J- Adi aaj toh ladys sangeet hai aur Bani ki mehendi bhi. Iis liye no guys allowed.
S- Yeh kya baath hai, itni sari ladkiyaan aur hum bahar garden pe, no way.
Adi- Sahil bete kya plan hai tumhare dimag mein?
S- Aap se kisne kahaan ke I have I plan.
J- Sahil, its u. U always have a plan.
S- (gives them an evil look) Aaj toh hum us function pe honge, not in the garden. Hum bhi toh dekhen yeh ladys sangeet hota kya hai.
(Sahil tells them his plan and they are all shocked. Jai and Adi bust out laughing uncontrolably)
J- Sahil marna hai kya?
Adi- Haan, jab hum pakde jaiyenge tab bohot jute padange.
J- Mere shaadi hai, mujhe nahin pitna baba.
S- come on bhaia, yehi toh time hai masti ke liye. I promise we wont get caught. Please.
J- I dont knowK
S- Aapka chota bhai aap se kuch mang rahi hai, aap nahin desakte (Sahil makes a sad face)
J- Aacha baba, we will go.
(Jai and Adi look at eachother knowing that this is not going to end well)

In The Main Hall:
(All the guests are gathereing around the stageKwhere they will do the mehendi. Massi and Dadi are too buys attending to the ppl and getting the last minute tings ready to see that they have more guests coming. But these are not the usual guests. Three girls just walked in covered head to toe in burkas, black burkas. U cannot see who is under them. But u guessed it. Its none other that our very own Jai, Aditya and Sahil. They quitely sneek in and graba seats in the back of the room. Hidden from most ppl, yet they can still see everything. Once they r settled they hear a faint noise, cham cham. Everyone looks up to see the girls coming down the stairs. Jai is just staring at Bani. He never noticed how beautiful she really was, pretty yes but beautiful, not until this very moment.)
Adi- WowK(not realizing he said that out loud)
S- Adi bhaia kisko dekh kar aapne wow kahaan? Humare Bani bhabi ko toh nahinKvarma jai bhaiaK
Adi- (blushing and kind of caught off gard)KnahinKwhoKummK.kuch toh nahinKu r hearing things (gives sahil and evil look)
S- oh yeah, im hearing thingsKAdi bhaia mujhe saab paath hai, u cant hide from me.
Adi- KK.kya paata haiK
S- Yehi keK
(Just then music starts playing in the background. Its the song Mere banno ki aayegi Barat from the movie Aaina. Rano and Anu have prepared a special dance for Bani to this song. After the song ends they get to doing Banis mehendi. Other ladys are still singing and telling jokes and stories. Jai cannot take his eyes off of bani. She is happy. She is laughing and smiling and having a good time. He feels happy himself just seeing Bani happyKawwwKThen another song comes on that Jigyasa dances to. It is Mehendi haiK from the movie Zubeida. This time Adi cant take his eyes off of her. And ofcourse Sahil notices this. Pretty soon everyone is dancing, even Bani being careful that her mehendi dosent smear. The other girls got their mehendi done too. Sahil notices that Adi and Jai are just paying attention to their girlsKlolKSahil is making notes in his head for future plans.)
M- Bani beti idar aao.
B- Ji Massi
M- Bani kaal tumhare haath dekh kar paata chalega ke munna tumhe kitna pyaar karte hai. Kehete hai ke jis ki mehendi saabse lal ho uski paati usse saabse ziyada pyaar karte hai.
(At this Bani becomes a little sad)
B- (Thinks) Lekin Mr. Walia toh mujhe pyaar nahin karte, this is just a favor. Mr. Walia kya, main toh unse bhi pyaar nahin karti. I had no other choice.
D- Bani kya sooch rahi ho?
B- Nahin Dadi kuch nahin.

(They all begin to dance and have a good time again, but this time Bani is sittign down. Her eyes suddenly fall on the three girls in the burkas. She looks confused because she cant figure out why they still have their burkas on. When in the presence of ladys only burkas are not needed. She signals the girls and the go to her)
*wispering*
B- Do u see what I see?
A- KyaK
B- WohKvaahaanKwoh teen ladkiyaanK
Jig- WohKjisne burka pehene hai?
B- Haan, its odd.
R- Haan didi, hum toh saab ladkiyaan hai yahaan, toh phir unhone abi bhi burka kyun pehene hai
B- Yehi toh.
Jig- Aare I got it!
A- Kya, what is it.
Jig- Dont u guys see, there are THREE girls in burkas. And I havent seen or heard from our THREE guys since this evening.
Rano- Didi, u meanKno wayKit cant beK
A- It just cant
Jig- Im sure, just wait and see what I do.
(Jigyasa calls Massi and Dadi over and tells them the those three are none other than Jai , Adi and Sahil. They come up with a plan to get them out.)

(The guys see the girls makins hints at them and keep looking their way. They begin to get nervous)
J- Sahil, what did I sayKwe r caughtKwe have to goK
S- Bhaia relaxK
Adi- Nahin sahil, Hume abhi nikalna hai, look Massi and ma r coming.
(B4 they could ge tup and go Massi and Dadi are standing in front of them. They guys stand up not realizing that the burkas dont cover to the floor u can still see a little bit of their legs)
M- Aare aap log itne piche kya kar rahe hai, aap log samne toh aiye na.
(They guys try to talk more femenine)
Adi- Ji nahin hum yehin tik hai.
D- Nahin chaliye, aage chaliye
(They take the guys up to where Bani and the girls are. Anu sees their legs and they r hairy)
A- OMGKaap log apni legs wax nahin karte
S- wohKactuallyKhume time nahin mila..
Jig- Koi baath nahinKwe still have time for this functionKaap mere kamre mein aaye Ill do itKI have a great wax kit.
(All three guyst together)
NAHIN!!!
Adi- mere matlab, abhi nahinKphir khabiK
R- Aacha at least dance with us.
(She pulls the guys to dance and they cant do itKthey look like fools dancing. Massi, Dadi and Bani are sitting ther elaughing while Anu, Jig and Rano try to keep fooling them into dancing.)
Jig- Aare aap log abi bhi burka pehen kar kyun beteh hai, dont worry we are all girls here, the guys r outside.
R- Haan aap log apni burka utar sakte hai.
S- Nahin, we r ok
A- How r u ok, it must be so hot.
(Then anu grabs sahil, jig grabs adi and rano grabs jai and they all pull off the burkas at once. They guys just stand there shocked whle all the girls are rooling on the floor laughing. All of a sudden massi gets serious)
M- Munna yeh kya haiK
J- Massi woh K
Adi- Ma yeh saab Sahil ki idea thaKits his fault
S- NahinKwohKomgK.main toh gayaKmassi zaida nahin maarna mujheKabhi bhi shaadi nahin hui haiK
(Massi raises her hand they think they r getting slapped but instead massi just rubs his cheek. They all just laugh and have a good time after that)

(The party is over and the clean up has begun. As punishment for sneeking into the girls function massi told the guys that clean up was up to them. The girls are upstaris getting ready for bed but Bani is not. Jai sees her head out to the garden to get some fresh air.)
Adi- Aare Jai, tumne Bani ko woh gift diya.
J- Nahin abhi toh nahin.
S- Bhaia aap kab dengeKshaadi kaal hai. Aap abhi de digiyeh.
J- Tik hai. (Jai followes Bani to the garden)

At the same time-
Bani is in the garden just thinking aobut her wedding tomorrow. She knows that its not a love marriage but she still wants a good wedded life. She wants to be a good wife to Jai. She hopes that God is with her and helps her.
Voice- BaniK(wisper)KBaniK.Bani
Bani knows she is not imaganing this again,then Bani feels someones hands on her back. She is scared because everyone is inside. She turns around and comes face to face the personK
B- You!?!?! OMGKwhat r u doing hereK?!?!?!
