Aha...I'm here....so now my version of the meeting...waise haven't we covered everything already.. but don't worry I said I will write and I shall... 😳
hmm....so where do I start...

26th September 2006

I'm sleeping my way to glory and its around 9 am..(ya ya I know its late...but I sleep late... 😳 )and get an sms saying ....sleeping beauty we are meeting at Barista at 12…I read it with fluffy eyes…I know who its from(MT)...check my watch...look out the window… curse myself for not pulling all the curtains properly 😡 and go back to sleep for another half an hour or so... 😳
So finally I decide to get up…still quiet unwilling... but there is a meeting I have to attend…a few friends I have to meet...worrying about how on earth will we recognize each other. But then again I say we will…atleast I've given my description well...(I know it was funny 😆 ...but it was honest...ab main aisi hi dikhti hoon ...hai na girls... 😉 )
Ok so I rush off from home...Mom thinks I'm going to college...she knows I have to go out with friends…but exact details...no no...
Then comes the tricky part...I reach the auto stand... ask the guy to take me to GK M block market.. and he says GK 1 or GK 2...and I'm standing looking at his face...blinking as if he's spoken French... I say the one which is more famous...he says both are... 😆 I call up MT...she doesn't pick up...I call up Sujata...she doesn't pick up...I tell the guy to take me to GK...1 or 2 I'll tell later...I finally get thru Sujata's number or did she call me... anyways I ask her…n she laughs.. 😆 I know it was funny I was in an auto not knowing where to go...I was laughing too..and the looks the guy was giving me conveyed that this girl has lost it...she goes to college everyday by an auto from the same auto stand...wonder whats wrong with her today she doesn't know where to go... 😆 so finally I know its GK 1... then when I'm almost 15 minutes away from the place...I get a call from Sujata saying that GK is closed coz it's a Tuesday n so is our venue Barista... My mind says..wow ..what next...
I ask her to look for any restaurant which is open…I reach GK..I get down from an auto...call up Sujata asking her where she is…she says I'm outside McDonalds..since I'm new to the place...the haunted place...I start reading the shop names around me...somehow Sujata figures out that I'm at the other corner of the market...I tell her to stay where she is..I'm coming..Yes I had to chose this very day to wear my heels... 😳 I parade down the entire market …I ask her to keep talking to me as the place is haunted... then when we are at some distance she says…are u wearing a suit…n I'm like ya…n u're wearing a green shirt,…..she's like yaa...we hang up…and the moment I see her…I know we are friends..she has the cutest smile...I can't believe its her...she looks like a college student...and undergrad….wow...
We decide to go upstairs at Mcdonalds...we take a table in a corner…no first we take one in the middle …but decide against it…then I get a call from Aarthy…she says where are u…I tell her to come upstairs at McDonalds…I get up from my chair to find out where she is…and I see a lady getting up from her chair at the other corner talking on the phone...she has a smile flashing at me...she looks like a Professor...I see her and I see genuineness personified... 😳 we all sit there for 3-4 minutes and as if we read each others mind decide to move out….so destination next Pizza Hut….again we parade half the market…me wearing my favorite heels...but they're killing me...
We settle down in a corner..which by the way will from now on be the most happening place at PH ever..
Not for a moment do I feel that I'm sitting with strangers..these people I know from the internet seem to be my long lost friends….I feel so comfortable…after giving Raaga the updates of the serial...MT decides to show up...we decide to play a little trick...we split up …sit at different tables…Sujata can't stop laughing...but then finally Raaga calls MT back when we see her l;eaving…we just burst into laughter...the PH guys had the nastiest look for us... 😆MT looks so graceful...she has the most infectious laughter I've know…she makes u feel at home the moment u see her...
We all connected the moment we saw each other...we talked and talked... From Munna to Tony to Dubai….to Tarun…to everything.. 😳 . We even wondered how some one sitting at the restaurant would react if they come to know that here were 4 girls meeting for the first time...they came across each other on the net…. 😆 We were definitely the noisiest...no that would be the liveliest... 😉 Our order was delayed to no end.. As they never wanted us to leave the place... 😉 😳 😆 people came had their food and left...but we were still there waiting for our food to arrive..I was sooo hungry…poor me...didn't have breakfast...socha tha will have a good coffee and sandwich…here we were waiting for our food to arrive...which by the way was ordered by Rekha... 😳 as the rest had no deciding skills what so ever... I request all the three ladies to update their everpending fanfics and kripa karo on readers like me... 😃
We even clicked a few pictures...I'm sure u've read about it on this thread... 😃 I'll post the one I have by evening...
After lunch and loads of talks...which I'm still not sure was regarding what... We decide to leave...me back to college...MT back home...her son needed her...we all missed him soo much...🤗 Sujata back home..she was on a sick leave.. 😉 😆 Raaga back to her aunt's place...she had come to meet some great writers.. 😉
So we got ourselves auto's to go back...we departed on a lovely note... Still drooling over Jai Walia..KS.. and our new friendship..🤗
On my way to my college..all I could think was...was this real...were these three actually strangers..couldn't be...there was not a moment of awkwardness between us...not a moment when we had to try and figure out what the other meant...we had bonded at sight... 😳 we all are from different backgrounds...different age brackets...brought together by our love for KS...IF..naa mainly JW….but all that seemed secondary... 😳
The three ladies I met yesterday were three such individuals who had their own style of things... but the essence of it all was similar...🤗
MT ...the perfect mom...a blast to have around...she can make u laugh at anything... 😳
Raaga...the college prof. she has the voice of an angel...Aarthy..do u sing???if u don't u should... she has the humor which will have u in splits...u won't even know what hit u... 😳
Sujata...the smile which can't be erased from memory...its only coz I knew it that she was elder to me that I believed it…else…I would have contested it in the court of law.. I guess she was the most somber of us all... 😳
Thanks to IF I met these amazing ladies...friends would be the appropriate word…girls u are all sooo amazing...it was my pleasure to meet u all…hope we get another opportunity sooon...not for a second did I feel I was the youngest..the best thing about the three of them is that they are all so down to earth,....totally humble..almost unaware of their skills...talents... their warmth...🤗
Girls I loved meting u all...may we get another chance soon...but we'll have to look for a new venue this time... 😉

Ah... it was just wonderful reading your updtes on your lovely meeting. Lucky you, I mean all of you. Tahnks for indcluding us too in your own special way by giving us all here the details of your meeting. It felt like being there with you guys.
