But........I decided to update..........todays not interesting........a kind of filler cause I couldn't come up with anything else!

Bani groaned and pulled herself out of bed before dragging herself towards the door of her apartment where someone was impatiently ringing the door bell…
B: I'm coming, I'm coming…
Her voice was croaky and barely audible…
She pulled open the door to see Jai standing outside holding his laptop and a few files…he looked at her leaning against the door, eyes barely open and face pale…
B: What are you doing here?!
J: Neha told me you weren't well so…
B: Jai…please…
She attempted to shut the door on his face but was stopped as he wedged his foot between the door and the frame…he pushed it open with ease and looked at her seriously…
J: Bani…I'm not going anywhere until I know you're well…
Bani didn't have enough energy to argue…she had a splitting headache and could barely keep her eyes open for more than a few seconds…feeling as if she could collapse any minute, Bani turned her back on Jai and went back to her bedroom, falling asleep as soon as she hit the pillow…
Jai shut the door behind him and placed his equipment on the sofa before following Bani to her bedroom…she had the blanket wrapped around her body tightly, and a few wisps of her hair were scattered across her forehead…
Pushing them away, he gently caressed her cheek and realised how hot her face was…knowing Bani, she wouldn't have called a doctor…he pulled out his mobile and dialled a number…

R: Nothing to worry about, she only has a high fever…place a cloth of cold water on her forehead and change it every few minutes until the fever goes down…
Jai looked up at Dr. Rahul Mehra who was putting his things back in the black bag he had brought with him…
J: Thanks Rahul…
R: hey…it's ok man…you're just lucky I was here…you have the medication I gave, right?!
Jai nodded his head and shook hands with Rahul…
R: Just call me if you need anything else…
Jai bid him goodbye and walked over to the kitchen to find a bowl of cold water…

Bani stirred sleepily and pulled the blanket of her face, squinting as the suns rays hit her eyes…she sat up and pulled her hair in a ponytail, feeling much better than yesterday…getting out of bed, she noticed a bowl of fairly warm water placed on top of the little dresser…
She frowned, thinking where it could have come from…she only remembered bits of what happened yesterday…in fact, she thought she remembered Jai coming over to see her…even the room smelled faintly of his cologne…
B: Stop it Bani!!…just get over him…
She scolded herself for wanting him to be with her so much that she actually felt his presence in the room…
She was about to go to the bathroom to brush her teeth when she heard a loud 'clang' from the direction of the kitchen…she froze…she had locked the front door and closed all the windows – how could anyone get in?!
Maybe she was just imagining things?!…but no, there was another noise as if somebody was opening and closing the fridge…
Not knowing why a thief would make their way to the kitchen first, Bani armed herself with her brush and a bottle of hairspray as she crept towards the kitchen…
She turned the corner and was about to attack who ever was in her kitchen when the person turned around and screamed, dropping whatever they were holding…taken by surprise, Bani screamed as well and it wasn't until a few seconds later that she realised what was happening…
B: Neha..?!
Neha leant against the kitchen shelf, holding her chest and glaring at Bani…
N: God B…what the hell was that?!…and why are you holding hairspray and a brush?!
Bani tried to steady herself, her heart beating wildly against her chest…
B: Sorry Neha…I thought you were a thief…
Neha raised her eyebrow…
N: What exactly would a thief do in the kitchen?!
Bani shrugged and looked down sheepishly at her feet…
B: Steal vegetables?!
Neha laughed and Bani also managed a small smile as they bent down to pick up the broken pieces of plate that Neha had been holding…
B: How did you get in anyway?!
Bani was surprised to see Neha grinning…
N: Jai let me in…
B: What?!
Bani watched her stunned as she cleaned up the last of the mess…
N: Yup…You know Bani…he was so sweet…was with you all of yesterday…I wouldn't be surprised if I found out he didn't get any sleep…he called me this morning and asked if I could come over to make breakfast for you as he didn't know how and didn't want to make you more sick by ordering from outside…
Bani sat down at the small kitchen table, surprised and confused at Jai's behaviour…maybe he still cared about her?!
She knew it wasn't true…there was only person he truly loved, and Roshni would probably be in his arms right now…but maybe, just maybe…the small ray of hope made Bani more happier than she'd ever admit to anyone…

J: I miss you too baba…
Jai laughed as he listened amused to the girl on the other end…
J: I promise I'll be there for your birthday…ok?!…yes, yes I know…I love you to Nisha…bye!
Shaking his head, Jai ended the call and turned round…surprised to see Bani at the door of the cabin…
Placing his mobile on his desk, he made his way up to her and noticed that she looked worried…
J: How are you feeling now Bani…
He was about to place his hand on her forehead when she pushed it away and replied coldly…
B: I'm sorry Mr. Walia…I didn't know you were busy talking to your girlfriend…
She was about to leave when she felt Jai clasp her wrist…
J: Bani…wait!
She pulled her hand away and glared at him…
B: Just stop it!…what are you going to say to me huh?!…that you weren't talking to your girlfriend?!…old habits die hard Jai…I should've known you wouldn't be happy with only one girl by your side…
She stopped and turned her face to the side, trying to stop the tears that threatened to spill down her face…pushing a strand of hair behind her ear, she was about to go when Jai placed his both of his hands on the wall behind her, blocking her exit…
Her breath caught in her throat as she realised how close he was to her, his face mere inches away from her own…she shivered as the end of his nose slightly touched hers, and his warm breath fanned her face causing her to lean against the wall for support…
Her senses on fire and the smell of his cologne causing her to momentarily forget her anger, Bani turned her face to the side and closed her eyes as she felt his cheek brush slightly against her pulse which was beating wildly to the same rhythm as her heart…
It wasn't until she felt his hands on her waist that Bani realised what was going on…she placed her hands on his chest and tried to push him off, but he didn't budge…
B: Jai…let go of me!!
Jai ignored her and Bani struggled against him as his hands wandered up her back…her breathing was ragged and having him so close to her after so long was making her feel light headed…one part of her wanted to get away, but the other wanted to embrace and stay there forever…
Suddenly she stopped fighting him and froze as she felt him pull up her zip…his lips brushed against her ear and the deep, husky whisper made her shiver…
J: Next time you come to fight Miss. Dixit…remember to close your zip…
Bani jerked her head away and gave him a cold look…her face was red with anger and embarrassment…
B: I HATE you…
She was shaking and tears stung the back of her eyes as Jai surveyed her face calmly…he glanced at her eyes, and without giving her a chance, Jai swooped down and placed a hard kiss on her lips, leaving her no space to breathe…
J: I don't believe that Bani…I never did, and I never will…
After giving her a final peck on the lips, Jai strode out of the cabin leaving Bani stunned…
