I want to ask you one question. Is it possible that Bani in the original series will become so free to mingle with Jai Walia in her life if she chose to come back wholeheartedly? I mean will there be a free air between them?

I really would like to characterice her like the reserved to all but free with Jai. I meant that by the name of FF.

Part 3

Morning. Bani opened her eyes and found herself is lying in the arc of his hands, she again closed her eyes in the warmth of his body and she didn't want to get up. She know that it is late in the morning. She heard his giggles and looked up and saw he is trying to suppress his laugh. She is as if "what is so funny?" He said "yesterday's your performance was super!!!" . Now she understood, slowly she said, "pls, don't tell any one", then she got up and started walking towards the bathroom. Jai felt like some part of his is taken away, he become a little lost and left a sigh. She turned back and looked at him and told sarcastically "varna, your image will be gone" she acted like the muscleman pose and again walked into the bathroom as if nothing happened. He again started laughing, he thought "OMG, this girl is.." He was thinking he can remember as a girl not as a woman, what a contradiction to her big heart.

Massi came and knocked the door. She saw Jai in the casual baniyan and got surprised. She was very happy.

Massi: Munna, you looks like the old munna who when I come to wake you up caught my pallav and make me sit near you and you always wanted to sleep for a while on my lap.

Jai: haan, Massi, I feel I become young suddenly.

Massi: that is my bahu. Haan, I came to check is she alright or not. Come down, for the breakfast.

Jai: she is fine, o.k. Massi, we will come down.

Massi left. Bani came out in a cotton churidar with small prints stitched elegantly to her size. He got up and walked towards her to catch but she pointed to the bathroom. He had no other way. They both came down a bit early for the breakfast. Bani went into the kitchen, talked to the servants and Tony. She asked one of them about his new born baby and the servant told her they are all fine and the gift Bani gave is liked by all of them.

Bani then went to the other servant who was cleaning the utensils.

Bani: "why are you not using the gloves I gave you, you are allergetic to the detergents and use the gloves. Tony, where is the package I gave you the other day, did you give the cream I gave you?"

Tony: Mam, I gave him, he says he is not used to it so he didn't use it.

Bani: (again to the other person) take and use it now. You have to go and take your child with that hand, please.

The servant says ok and going to the shelf and taking it out. Bani is checking out all the shelves and asked Tony is there anything needed for kitchen to which he says "no, mam".

Bani: how is the plants, Tony, anything gone ….

She couldn't complete it before that Jai came and stood near her. Everyone turn suddenly to him , he asked "about which plants you are talking?"

Tony: Sir, we have a small kitchen garden here, back side, Bani mam is growing some vegetables there for our use.

Jai: Is it? how long it is going on, no one knows about it here!!!!!

Tony: No, sir, she comes every morning before anyone gets up and do the job herself with the help of our Gardner. Most of them she herself planted, others she gave instructions. If she can't come one of us will check it out. But…

He stopped abruptly, and looked at Bani who was standing like caught the thief by red handed. She kept her head down…

Jai: But…?

Tony: Jigyasa mam will get angry saying wasting the money so we kept it quiet. Actually Bani mam didn't spend much money, she collected seeds from our kitchen itself and very little she bought from shops.

Jai understood, he took her by shoulder and walked to the back door, Bani was literally shivering… he stepped out just to stand stunned to see a small but healthy garden with different types of palaks, brinjal, ladies finger, bitter guard, chillies, cauliflower, long beans etc and few lines of marigold and chrysanthemums… and lots of tulsi plants and curry leave plant. He looked at her with a surprised eye while she still looking down and was ready to run at any time. He understood that it is because he is holding her in front of others that she feel so uneasiness that he let her go with a feeling of lost… she suddenly walked inside and disappeared..

Jai walked into the garden and asked Tony, whether she is using these flowers for the pooja, he said "yes, sir". Tony said that she takes it early before others gets up. She grew the leafy vegetables for Anu mam after she become pregnant. We gave her daily one of these leafy vegetables as per Bani mam's request. Anu mam and Rano mam also knows about it, they used to come here. Jai was surprised to know it. By this time all others followed Aditya came out and had the same kind of surprise to see it. Massi knows it so she was cool. There was a Jasmine plant too, which just started to flowering, with full of small buds. All entered the hall where Bani was setting the tables with Rano and Rashi. She looked very nervous. Anu came from behind just when Aditya started to tell something and told him, "no, daddy, she is already nervous, don't embarrass her too much" slowly to his ears. He looked at Bani and smiled. Everyone sat in their seats. Bani kept Jai's plates and stood near him. Tony brought the items which she started to serve for him. She didn't look at him. He was thinking is this the one yesterday night mimicked me. God. Why she doesn't she feel this is her home and they are her relatives!!!!.

Massi: so we know now for certain this is a home, isn't it Munna? It becomes a real home. Now it is time we all should make it more homely. Till now either Jigyasa or Bani or Massi, which is which…was running it. Do you know Jai one event? I didn't want to tell this before, now that there is no Jigyasa that Bani wanted to protect. Beeji, will you tell that dinner cooking.

Jai looked up from the plate, everyone paused for a while, when Bani looked at Massi thinking what she is going to reveal now…

Dadi: I will tell you, that day you called your foreign delegates for dinner, Jigyasa… (suddenly)

Bani : Dadi, please…

Dadi: (ignored her plea) told Bani to cook for the dinner, that too in such a short notice that Bani couldn't even get something from shop. Jigyasa sent all guys home. She kept all spices and available vegetables in the store room and kept the kitchen literally empty, even a pinch of salt was not there. Well, we at home never leave kitchen like that, atleast a pinch of salt or sugar will be there or a dried chilly atleast in kitchen which non-functional for a few days. Once the kitchen is used it never leave empty. When I and Bani came to cook we saw the terrible sight. We didn't know what to do. Jigyasa was keeping the key for the store in her hand. What to do? We broke the key lock of store and found the things stored there. But there was only very little vegetables. Bani suddenly gone out and picked palak and came back. There was paneer in the fridge luckily. We got brinjal also from the backyard and some other vegetables. She cooked some curries that I even don't know till now how to make. She is such an excellent cook. You came and saw it and shouted at her. Started calling the hotel, but luckily the guests were so impressed by the curries… I am still wondered instead of going inside and cried why she didn't shout at Jigyasa and you over this. How on the earth anyone can make anything out of blue unless he or she is God hiself?

Jai looked very guilty. Bani was already sinking in embarrassment and couldn't stop the elderly ladies of the house. She knows that it will hurt Jai again and she didn't want to do it. Even though she tried to plead the other ladies they seems to avoid her look. All the others were talking and discussing the matter for a while then.

Massi: we should make it a home… all of us who stays here should know what and where… I will tell another event. One day Munna called for water that is the second time. But there was no problem in the connection, it was Roshini who went and closed the main tap and she took the bucket of water to your bathroom. None, even Tony couldn't find the reason, Bani could. Because she understood that the first time it was closed to repair and she got enough shout from you for bringing water on my request(everyone laughed at it) she went and opened the tap and told Tony if it happens next time check this main tap first. She left out helpless and kept quiet. I came back the same day just in few minutes after this event and caught her in your room talking to you loudly for first time. After Tony told me what happened. But Tony or anyone here didn't realize that. Now the young boys and girls here should know how to keep your house a home. Everyone involve in organizing the things at home. So one person will not be ended up dead tired of doing the whole things.

Jai was sitting like this what I am hearing and looked at Bani. He now understood why she shouted that day which made him laugh at her uncontrollably seeing her child like anger. She is sitting quietly eating from her plate. He knows there he can't even ask about these things, he was the villain there. He was visibly hurt remembering those days.

Anu: I didn't know there is a garden here in our backyard. When I become pregnant Bani mami told me and showed it. She told me to eat the leafy vegetables daily. So I am indebted to her and my baby too, for having poison free vegetables all these days.

Everyone got up and Jai went up to their room. Bani went to give his medicines. He was very silent. She stood near him and said "sorry, I would have told it myself, but .." he said "it is ok, I know you are never going to tell this to me. Why should you do? I have never made you feel that way to come and get help from me, then now I have no right to ask." She simply sat near him and her eyes welled up with tears. He took her by shoulders to him and pressed to his body. She knew what he needs now. "Jai, please forget it, you don't have to feel bad over it, it was the situation you were in which forced to see me that way. So please, just forget it. I am here just for you and found my home here.. don't you understand that". She touched his chest. He couldn't stop his tears now, he just held her tight with lips on her forehead. Bani left a sigh.

Jai: it is ok, past is past. Everything is over now. We have to leave at 11.00 to Darjeeling. Get ready fast.

Bani: can I ask you something…

Jai: why you are still scared Bani? Just ask me…

Bani: Pushkar, Sahil, Rano are going to Goa. If…

She stopped abruptly… Jai pressed her as if to continue…

Bani: if Massi, Dadi and Rashi can go with them, Rashi will not be left alone to be sad. They three with Pushkar can enjoy too. She needs a change…

Jai: that is a good idea, I will talk to Aditya now, you carry on… haan, thank you…

He left her there and Bani felt a relief, she was so sad when she sees Rashi; she thought because of Rano she lost a life.

Jai talked to Aditya and arranged it. Everyone was happy even though Rashi resisted a bit saying Anu is alone. But Aditya promised that she will be just fine, even Anu also told her to go ahead and enjoy.

Jai: OK my darling, everything is fine.

They spent two weeks in DJ , in their hotel, sight seeing, shopping, spending their honeymoon (a bit late…) she was very happy… hanging on to his hand she was like a small bundle in sweaters and caps… he felt very relieved seeing her enjoying the location. She bought lots of gifts for others. She selected some antiques small pieces for home. Nothing special for her. Jai tried to make her feel free to buy anything but still she very much hesitates… she told him that she is happy seeing the place and collecting some books etc but don't feel to buy anything for her now….He asked why again she feels like that. Yes, she is there again, she is not yet recovered from it, "I just lost my baby, not even few weeks now, why no one can understand my pain? I couldn't still believe that butterfly has gone out of my… please… I …. I can't enjoy anything like that now, pls give me some time, I … I …." She in broken words tried to pass it to him. Jai couldn't believe her. Why didn't I remember it? Was she always thinking of the baby and feeling sad, irrespective of the way she moved around without showing any sign of it. He just held her tight to him, soothing her. He know how much she wished for that baby. She unconsciously kept her hands over her stomach and rested her head on him as if she is so helpless to cry. She was not crying, she was struggling with her breathing, her lips were trembling in the fight to control a break down, she had a tired look in her eyes which was pathetic than a teary eye… he just looked up to the sky as if praying for God… He know himself that how much he suffered when he had to accept the fact that baby is not going to born. Hold her tight to his chest and told her "shhhhhh, I know, I know, it is ok, it is ok. Please don't get upset…." That day they spent the whole afternoon in the room she just lied in his arms and quietly listen to many things they told each other. She told him that how she got panicked when she started thinking of bringing up a child all her own, that she never knew anything about it. She then told him how she gone and bought many books and prepared herself. She learned about baby food stuff in each phase etc… No one could be possibly become a soul mate as they do to each other.

All reached back home in two weeks, except Sahil and Rano. They reached after a week. It is one month now. The divorce procedure of Pushkar and Pia had done in a speedy way through special hearings on the basis of the abortion.

All the youngsters are becoming really professional on their job front. They seems to enjoy the life of responsibilities. Rashi and Pushkar are handling main major projects which Ranveer was handling. They seem to get along easily. Even Pushkar's experience was an added advantage for her to learn many things in a very short time as she was totally inexperienced.

Jai had called and talked to Mohan Khandenwal and requested him to give Pia a job in their hotel and if possible think about her without Bani's knowledge. He knows she is worried about Pia even though she is angry. He explained everything to Mohan. One day Mohan appeared in front of Pia as if from blue and talked to her casually and after hearing her side he asked her whether she likes to join him. She said "OK" but need a week to settle things out. Pia joined his hotel in Mt. Abu after a week.

One evening Bani called in the office of Jai. She was working as if she was before the marriage. She doesn't take into her advantage that she is Mrs. Jai Walia. She even refused to shift her office to the same floor as Jai's saying that her office is in the immediate visibility of her working area and it helps her taking less strain physically. One day she telephoned him in the office just before the closing time. It is very rare she calls him also. He has to check whether she is ok or not…

Bani: suniye

Jai: yes, Bani, tell me, what is it?

Bani: Shall we visit Pushkar's mother once? I can't go alone there. I don't know how to face her.

Jai: offcourse. We will go there from here. Don't go home alone today.

Bani: O.K.

At pushkar's house, Bani entered to see he and his mother was talking. His mother came to Bani and suddenly she broke down asking what we all did to Pia to kill her grand child… Bani closed her eyes. Jai stood helpless. Pushkar went to mother and told her, "ma, please, you know Bani is just recovering, don't give her much more pain".

Bani: it is ok, let her talk, she is after all a mother. I can understand her. (looking at her) aunty, I know I am failed to bring the two little sisters in a better way. I thought love and care will teach them.. I thought our hard days will make them mature to be a good human in the life, but I realized that they overlooked everything to have a better life… I am really sorry.

Pushkar's Mom: no no, Bani, it is ok, I didn't mean to blame you. I know you have tried your best. Now, come, sit here. (turning to Jai) Jai Beta, you also come and have a seat. After a long time you are coming here.

Jai went and sat near Pushkar. Bani and his mother sat together. Bani told her to come home for a dinner the next day. For that they all agreed. Bani was very silent on the way back. Jai know there is no point in talking to her. Let her calm down in her own way. He expected a break down on the entering of their own four walls, but it didn't happen. She was like more determined to be quiet this time. She went on changing her dress and completed her pooja. Then went to Massi to talk to her and helped her in tidying her room. Then went to kitchen. After dinner all sat down in the coaches. Pushkar also sat near Massi. Bani looked at Massi.

Massi: Munna, I want to tell you all one important thing. Now that every problems are cleared out. But one thing is really pending. Not one thing, but two in fact.

Jai: ji, Massi, tell us, what is that worrying you.

Massi: I am taking a decision now. See we can't hang our life when troubles happened. We should move on. Rashi need a life. I or anyone in this family can't think a day now without her, she is very much a part of our life. But she deserves better.

Everybody was eagerly looking at Massi. She was damn serious. Rashi was as if what the hell is this about me…

Massi: same way Pushkar too need a life. I know they get along very well in their job and they are very understanding individuals who can respect each other and take care of each other. The one thing did not happen is this love between them. But they better fell into it afterwards…

Jai looked at Bani, he understood she is trying to solve another problem. Aditya and Jai passed a concerned look and smiled. Rashi was as if got a stab on her stomach, that she clutched her stomach tightly. But Bani held a hand on her and cooled her down.

Massi: I thought about it long. I talked this to Pushkar's mom as I don't want to suggest this here without her permission. Why can't they have a life together?

Jai was surprised and looked at Bani and he immediately know it is her plan, she is trying to compensate the loss she thought she caused to these two. Aditya was more than happy, also others, they approved it with a big applaud. Anu came to Rashi and hug her. Rohit said he is relieved now, if Pushkar will accept his sister she won't get any better partner than him. Puskar was as if he is ready if all are happy. He had seen Rashi what she was going through. Even though there was no crush on her he liked her character very much.

Massi: we will organize the marriage very fast to avoid some problems. After that we will give the real party, what Munna you says? Once the marriage is over then we don't have to worry. We will get our two kids with us for ever.

Jai: tomorrow we will ask the time for the marriage and let us do it fast. Till then keep it inside the house. After the marriage we will give a grant party.

Aditya: tomorrow I will check about timings.

Pushkar's mother entered along with his brother and SIL. Bani went and received them at the door. After dinner Massi told her about the decision and asked her if she got any objection. She told she only wish he gets a better life. She went to Rohit and asked his sisters hands, but he took her to Massi saying she is the mother of this house. Massi received the offer and verbally agreed.

Bani and Jai accompanied Pushkar's family to the front door. After they left, Bani went and clutched her hand on the front of Jai's shirt. She closed her eyes and kept her head down. He understood, she is loosing her control… he called "Baneee…" , she didn't look up. Her lips were like want to say something but is not able to say. He held her close to him, and kept his lips on her head. Everyone reached them. Massi called "Bani…beta" Bani started crying uncontrollably hiding her face on Jai's open front. For first time she has done that openly. He was overwhelmed that he just could say to stop crying… she was telling that… "I was worried so much about Rashi that Rano took her life and Pia destroyed Pushkar… at least now God had spared me from that two curses… I can sleep now peacefully."

She was as usual struggling with her breathing. Rano hugged Anu and breaking on her shoulder. Anu was like "Rano, it is ok, we both got beating from mothers for doing mistakes, and let us now not get any more beating from them. "

Massi eyed Jai to take Bani into their room. He took her to room. Looking on them leaving Massi went to Rashi and asked "beta, look at her, do you need any other better mother than her?" Rashi took her blessings and hugged Massi.

I know this is a different option I took, as I never want to leave Pushkar a bachlor... 😉 bit scared... in the original story line it seems he tends to like Rano a bit... I read it somewhere.. but i certainly don't want to mess with this family set up and decided to play safe side game. hope you don't dislike 😕 the idea.
