PART 2

Bani tearfully backs out of the room leaving a stunned Jai, Jigs and Ranveer behind.

She ran towards the bedroom, closing the door and collapsing against it in tears. Sobbing she fell to the floor thinking over everything she had just said in the direction of Jigs, but really to Mr Walia.

"Ghalati, saza……" she thought, " sazaa to meri ab shuru hogi. Kaise rahungi mein Mr Walia ke bina??? Badi badi baate to maine kar li lekin sach yahi hai ke vo sab maine apne aap ko tassali dene ke liye kaha hai. Taake mera yaha se jaana aasaan ho jaye. Ghalati kya hai meri?? Sirf itna ke maine Mr Walia se pyaar kiya?? Apna tan man sab kuch usske naam kardiya."

She thinks back to the night they spent lost in each others arms, remembering the happiness she felt at waking up in her husbands arms. And then she remembers his apology the day after. She remembers "Aur vaise bhi Mr Walia, misunderstandings wahi create kiye jaate hai jaha unki jagah hoti hai". That wasn't a lie, that was the truth. If Mr Walia felt for her as much as she did for him then Jigyaasa would never have been able to drive a wedge between them the way she did.

"Koi baat nahin Bani, shayad isse hi pyaar kehte hai. Mr Walia ko chaahne se pehle maine aisi koi shart to nahi rakhi ke vo bhi mujhse pyaar kare. Mein unke yaadon ke sahaare apni zindagi guzaarloongi. Zaahir hai ke mere yahan rukne se unhe takleef hoti hai, aur mein unko takleef mein hargis nahin dekh sakhti.

Calmer, resolved, she stands up and goes to the cupboard and starts packing her suitcase while the title track plays in the background and we see flashbacks of Jai Bani together, the dori scene, hair caught in his button, the kangan he bought her, that night….."

Jai enters the room, Bani turns. She closes her suitcase and lifts it off the bed, tears threatening to disclose her state of despair, their eyes meet and Jai immediately looks at the floor.
