Just to set the scene a little Anu's wedding is over, and Rano and Saahil have eloped (no Raashi issues here). Jigyaasa and Ranveer have created complete misunderstandings between Jai and Bani and he has spent the last few days believing she encouraged and helped them to run away, insulting her at every turn and drinking his pain away. (oh, and sorry about the poor quality of hindi!!)
PART 1
He is on his way back from his study towards the bedroom and walks past Jigs' room where her and Ranveer are gloating at how they are finally going to get rid of that Bani.
Jai cannot believe he has been deceived again, by his own sister and thunders into their room to give Jigyaasa one tight slap. He is about to do so when his hand is held back by none other than his darling wife who saw what happened and followed him in.
B: Rukiye Mr Walia. Ye aapki badi bahen hai, aisa kuch bhi mat kijiye jis ke vajhe se aap ko baad me apna sar sharam se jhukhaana pade.
Jai looks at her incredulously.
J: Bani!! Tum isse bachaa rahi ho, isse?!?!?! Kis mitti se bani ho tum?? Issne tumhe itna kuch kaha, hamare bich itne misunderstandings create kiye, or phir bhi tum is ki tarafdaari kar rahi ho??!!!
B: Mein kisi ki tarafdaari nahin kar rahi Mr Walia. Mein sirf wahi keh rahi jo mujhe sahi lag raha hai. Jigyaasa auntie humse badi he. Agar mere papa ne kabhi mujhe daata, ya maara, to maine kabhi bura nahin mana chaahe vo sahi the ya ghalat.
Jigyaasa lowers her face to the floor (what?!?! You mean she actually feels guilt??!!!)
B: Aur vaise bhi Mr Walia, misunderstandings wahi create kiye jaate hai jaha unki jagah hoti hai.
Jai too cannot look her in the eye at hearing this allusion to his own behaviour.
Bani turns to Jigyaasa and smiles.
B: Mein jaanti hu ke mere yaha rukne se aapko bahut takleef hui hai. Lekin ab Massi bhi wapas Chandigarh chali gayi he. Main bhi yahan se aaj hi chali jaoongi. Ab mere yahan rukne ki koi wajah hi nahin he.
Jai turns his back not wanting her to see the pain on his face at the thought of her leaving him. He remembers her closeness, the feel of her skin on the night of Anu's engagement. That night when Bani was his, just his. The one night where he finally felt happy, complete after such a long time…….
Bani continues: Agar mujhse koi ghalati hui ho to mujhe maaf kar dena Jigyaasa auntie. Mein jaanti hu ke aap ka mere liye nafrat sirf aapka apne bhaiya ke liye pyaar aur protectiveness hai.
Mere yaha se chale jaane mein hi inki, aap sab ki khushi hogi, aur mera praishchit bhi issi me hai. Pia ne jo aapke bhai ke saath kiya us me us ki koi ghalati nahin hai. Meri hi parvarish mein koi kami reh gayi hogi. Yaha rehke maine apne us ghalati ki saza puri karli.
Bani tearfully backs out of the room leaving a stunned Jai, Jigs and Ranveer behind.
