P.S. Enjoy ur single status for as long as possible, I still crave for it many many days........... Though never left home for college or for work, being single was fun even tho i lived with my parents.........

You didn't offend me at all Aditee...and I love hearing your viewpoints....sanity could prolly help us keep this discussion ongoing considering that all the other drooling might've gotten us to the closing of this thread!😛
Oh I plan on enjoying my single-status well for as long as I can at least! 😉

Pi,
You talk of communication, what if the guy doesnt want to listen? In an otherwise perfect marriage?

I watch Oprah when I get a chance, (I wont get all defensive here and claim that I was channel flipping and found her show 😃 , some of her topics are really sensible....... I really dont care for those breast implants and tummy redux type shows)

So anyway....... last week I think she had a bunch of women in there in so called perfect marriages who decided to cheat on their hubbies coz they just WUD NOT LISTEN

All these women dropped hints, declared bluntly, some even talked on the phone with the other guy when hubby was at home, but hubbies were TOTALLY OBLIVIOUS......

In ever situation the hubby had assumed their wife was happy and we emotionally satisfied...... and did not for one moment believe they wud do it

Lol ya putting jokes aside 06/19 is not the solution to all woes. But I think it is also true that in general women being emotional, sensitive, and above all dreamers it is nice to fantasize otherwise since we know reality is nothing close to those fantasies. Sort of a place to let out that built up 'steam'...especially if u have a completely non-romantic boring significant other...some of the guys around me...ABSOLUTE bores...cannot imagine having one date w/them let alone being w/them all my life...

I suppose AD....I guess I see fantasies more as a medium for us to realise reality as well. I suppose once in a marriage fantasies would mean a whole different thing from before-marriage fantasies. But either ways they are like you said a way to vent the pent up steam and in many situations maybe more helpful than harmful 😊

Guess there's more than you thought....well we don't have to entirely change him but we can def add a few things 😉

In my family itself there have been such harsh reality checks for everyone from elders to the younger ones when it comes to disastrous marriages particularly among some of my cousins. I am quite happy being single...and w/all the good men taken (oh trust me they are) and the rest gay (seriously) it is the next best option-stick w/the singles boat.

I am not suggesting all married women/men shud cheat if spouse is not receptive or "available"

But it just highlights the lack of CONTACT between the two emotional or physical........ Either the one who experiences the void is not able to reach thru despite decalring bluntly 😕 or the other person is too selfish to even glance the victim

Well then I'm stumped Aditee....that's why you're the more experienced person. So far I haven't come across many guys who don't want to communicate but then again I'm not married so I'm not sure if the situation changes then. Hope that doesn't happen to me or anyone I know though 😊
