Part 3:
It was early morning 5 o clock when the doorbell of Dixit-Singhania house… Everyone was still there no one was feeling sleepy…
Daksh turned to Anamika with a frown and said: I don't understand why has Bani locked the door from inside…
Just as Daksh completed his statement Jai opened the door….
Daksh: Jai… what are you doing here at this time… and then as if feeling something wasn't right he said… where is Bani..
Jai: Actually Daksh.. he didn't knew how to tell his friends..
Seeing him hesitate like this was givingAnamika an uneasy feelin.. from childhood it had been like this if she was in problem bani would know and if bani was in some trouble she got to know some how.. Daksh had tried to make her understand it was just a feeling but seeing Jai here at there place at this time of the morning and his behavior was scaring her… All she wanted was to see was Bani.. She literally pushed Jai aside and stepped into her house… She saw all known faces… Adi, Bade Papa… And then she saw Sid serving coffee to everyone… Wait wat was Sid doing here at this time of morning Anamika frowned…
Anamika was followed by her husband Daksh and Rano and Jai followed them.. Both Daksh and Rano could sense the tension…
Seeing that her di and jiju were not speaking Rano decided to speak up…
Rano: Jai Bhaiya… where is Bani di and Pia di…
Just as she completed the question Pia rang out to the hall she had heard her di and jiju's car coming… she started crying and ranto hug Anamika…
Anamika: Gudiya stop crying beta… Tell me whats happened and where is Bani.. and turned her sister's face to look at her..
Pia: Di… Bani di na… and started crying again and pointed towards Bani's room…
Anamika looked at Daksh tried to came Pia down and by then Anamika rushed to Bani's room…
She saw Badi Ma, Sudha Auntie, Aditi and Anupama… Bani was lying down with her eyes open.. staring at the walls…
Anamika rushed to Bani's side…
Anamika: Bani… Buns… its me… say something na…
Krishna: Anamika beta…
Anamika: Badi Ma… What has happened to her why is not talking to me… why is she not looking at me…
Krishna: Beta relax… I will tell you but first tell me where is Pia did you see her…
Anamika wiped off her tears.. she didn't like to see her sister like this…
Anamika: Ji… she is outside… with Rano…
Krishna: Jigyasa go beta and see if anyone needs any thing outside…
Jigyasa: JI Mom…
Krishna came and sat near Anamika and took Anamika's hands in her hands…
Krishna then told Anamika what all had happened last night… Anamika went numb with shock and grief for her sister…. Anupama also filled up with the medical details like she had done some tests and came to know that Bani was under the effect of some drugs which numbed her mentally but she was well aware of wat is happening around her…
Anamika looked at her sister and tired to make her speak but to no vail… By now Jigs, Pia and Rano had come there…
Seeing so many people surrounding her Bani was feeling claustrophobic… she was not liking been touched… she could hear voices around her… Wasn't that Anamika calling for hear… She turned her head towards Anamika's voice.. She saw tears in Annie's (that's wat the she called Anamika) eyes… Oh how she wished that she could wipe them off… But she could move even if she moved a bit it hurt her… and she couldn't find the strength to speak… But then she wondered what happened to her… She remembered her come out of party with Mohan and then Mohan telling that the car had broke down… and then his offering her a fruit juice.. and then that old house and Mohan coming near her and ………………….
Bani had started shaking she was trying to move her hands and shouting to be left alone…
Anupama seeing her like this thought it better to give her some medicine to sooth her nerves and calm her down..
Hearing her shouting Daksh rushed inside… He saw Anupama giving Bani medicine and Anamika trying to calm her down with her soft words of comfort… Seeing Bani like this was too much for him… It literally killed him from inside… To him Bani was the chirpy girl who made everyone laugh, took care of everyone… Did nothing that would hurt someone… She wasthe most kind hearted person he had known… He was close to all his sister in laws.. They were like his own sisters.. But with Bani it was a separate issue.. She was his friend and partner in crime.. Seeing Bani like this all he could think about was to send that jerk to jail that was responsible for this condition of hers…
He stepped into the hall and went and stood in front of Jai…
Daksh: I want your help…
Jai: You just need to spell it out we all are with you…
Daksh nodded and said: I know I have enough law knowledge to put that man behind bars… but I want him to be hurt as badly as he has hurt us… And that to by staying within the boundaries of law…
Uday knew Jai, Daksh and Adi way too well… They were the three musketeers… They were smart and talented in there own spheres of work… They could be ruthless and yet bide by the law…. He normally pitied their opponent… But not today… He had never differentiated between Daksh or the Dixit girls or Adi or his kids… Seeing Bani like this hurt him as badly as a father would be when he sees his kid being hurt… But he didn't wanted the guys to do something that would damage Bani more than it already had…
He came and stood beside them….
Uday: Guys… I know from the look on Daksh's face that he has some plan… I wont stop you but remember one thing… You all are furious because she what happened to her understandable but don't do anything that will hurt her more…
Jai looked at his father and said: Dad are you against us filing the case..?
Uday: No I am not… All I am saying is be careful… Remember one thing sons… Never make your pain your weakness make it your strength… only then you will be able to think both from your brains and your heart… else one will over ride the other… Bani shouldn't get hurt because you want to punish that guy… Am I making myself clear…
Daksh: Ji Bade Papa… I understand what you mean… He will pay for his sins and Bani's name will come no where….
Uday just nodded….
