We are all (im)patiently waiting to know about Neha and her little itty bitty sibling. Poor Bani must be too exhausted by now. It's high time she delivers and our adorable Jai is as usual too excited to hold, feel and see his baby.
So waiting for the grand entry of the little one in JB's world.
Plzzzzzz make it soon.

FINAL PART

******************

Jai had been searching for his wife for about ten minutes, checking the kitchen, thinking she would be hungry, the drawing room, etc. He had just returned home from a quick meeting in the office- he had been working from home lately, but today there was some urgent work which he had to go for. He found himself buying a bouquet of roses on his way home, just to show his appreciation of her.

Finally he headed upstairs to their bedroom where he saw her sitting on the bed, with her back facing towards him. She was looking at something intently, but he couldn't tell what it was. He quietly stepped towards her with the roses behind is back, and finally in her hands saw a photo album. She was running her fingers across the pictures. The people in the photographs were unfamiliar to him, but he could guess by her behavior who they were.

Clearing his throat, he quietly got her attention. She looked up at him with a smile, but he could see a tinge of melancholy in her eyes. "Hi…" She closed the album and patted the space next to her. He set the roses down, without her noticing and took his seat.

They stayed quiet for a moment, he was waiting for her to speak. But she didn't and so he knew he had to break the ice. "Your parents?" He asked.

She nodded and opened the photo album again. "I was just thinking how my mom would be so excited about the baby.. and with Neha growing up too… I just wish our children could have known their grandparents… They would have loved them."

He put his arm around her shoulder, comforting her as best he knew how to.

"I wish mama was here with me. I don't know how I will do it without her…" She said sadly. "I miss her and papa a lot…"

"I know… even I miss my parents. But we have each other, right? And Masi is there too. She loves you as if you were her own daughter… We are a family, and all of us- Jigyasa Di.. Adi.. we are all in it together.."

"I know.." She gave him a smile, even though her eyes were tearing.

"I have something to cheer you up!" Jai gave her a smile and turned back to get the roses he set down, when he saw they were missing. "Hey!"

Just then his eyes caught Neha making her way out the door with the bouquet in her hand.

"Neha! Those are Mama's flowers!" He got up, chasing after Neha.

"My fower! Ish peety!" Neha said excitedly. "Peety peety fower! Peety peety fower!"

Neha giggled then ran off with the flowers still in her hand, and Jai chasing her, leaving Bani giggling.

***

Bani woke up in the middle of the night, feeling a little restless. She turned to Jai seeing him soundly asleep. She straightened his hair, which was a mess, as he slept so peacefully. He had been so helpful and sweet the past few months, especially with her unusual demands. Even though she tried to keep them at a minimum, still there were things she wanted at different times.

Feeling a little thirsty, Bani managed to get herself out of bed, despite it becoming a daily struggle. After using the washroom, she slowly made her way downstairs towards the kitchen. Bani poured herself a glass of water and drank it slowly.

Just then she felt a strong kick, and she set the glass down, putting her hand on her stomach and letting out a deep breath. "You ok, baby? Feeling restless?" She spoke aloud to the baby.

"Bani? What are you doing up? Is everything allright?" Jigyasa entered the kitchen, looking half asleep.

"Yes, Di. I just wanted some water, that's all," She replied to her caring sister in law.

"Are you sure? Do you want me to wake Jai up?" She looked truly concerned. "I saw you just a second ago, and you didn't seem ok…"

"Im positive… Just a little tired that's all. He or she is keeping me up at night…" She patted her stomach.

Jigyasa smiled. "Bani, we're so happy for you. You and Jai, happy together, and your family growing. We couldn't have wanted anything more for you, too." She hugged Bani, who felt her eyes sting.

"Me too, Di…"

"Ok no crying ok…" Jigyasa said, though her own eyes were moist. "Go to bed. Its late. Come, I will walk you."

Bani returned into her room, seeing Jai still asleep, looking as adorable as she had left him. Watching him sleep, she finally fell asleep herself.

***

Early the next morning, Bani was straightening Neha's nursery as best she could. Neha was sitting in the middle of the room, while Bani sang 'twinkle twinkle little star', to teach Neha to sing.

"Twinkle twinkle little star…" Bani said slowly while she put some of Neha's stuffed toys into her toy bin.

"Inkle tar!" Neha shrieked with her hands raised.

"How I wonder what you are…" Bani said smiling, loving to listen to her precious Neha try to sing along with her.

"Onder are!" Neha attempted to sing along while she made her haathi walk around.

"Ok Neha.. You are going to sleep in the big girls bed from now… Because the baby will sleep in the crib!" She started to roll the crib, when Jai walked by glancing inside the room.

"Hey hey hey what are you doing!" Jai stopped her.

"I need to roll the crib to our room, and make sure everything is set up…"

"Then you call me, you cant do this on your own. Its too heavy, Sweetheart." Jai rolled out the crib easily. "And one more thing… I know you secretly try and carry Neha around. No more of that, understood?" He said trying to sound authoritative.

Bani stifled her giggles, as he looked so adorable trying to be strict with her. "But you were busy on a phone call.. I didn't want to disturb you…"

"Bani, nothing is more important than this. Business can wait, ok?" He lifted her chin with his finger, making her look directly into his eyes.

"Hmm…" Bani rubbed her stomach.

"Kicking?" He asked, placing his hand there, too.

She nodded. "Constantly. Its making me tired…"

"I'll tell you what… Why don't you take a nap, I'll get this moved and set up in the room."

She nodded, and kissed his cheek before she went inside the room to take a nap.

Jai looked at Neha who was giggling to herself.

"What are you laughing at, silly?"

"Inkle tar! Onder are!" Neha sang and she ran to Jai hugging his leg, making him laugh loudly.

"Sssshhhh Mama is sleeping!" He whispered loudly.

"Sssssss!" Neha mimicked, then broke out giggling again.

***

"Ok Neha.. take one more bite!" Bani held up the banana for Neha, later in the afternoon. But the little girl was too busy to come to her and take a bite. Instead she had found interest in the cartoon song that was playing on television.

"Neha come-" Bani stopped midway, she felt her lower back hurt a bit. She rubbed it lightly as the sensation went away.

Neha clearly was not paying attention, nor had any more interest in the banana. Deciding to relax, she sat down on the chair and munched on the banana as Neha started to hop around enjoying the song playing on television.

"Inkle tar?" She pointed to the screen.

"No silly, this isn't twinkle star.. This is 'Im a little teapot!' It's a different song."

"Nea shee!"

"Mama cant show you right now…" Bani laughed. "Even though mama is as round as a teapot…"

A little while later, after getting Neha cleaned up from all the mess of the banana, Neha was walking around with her milk. She was walking around the room, making her rounds, pointing to objects she knew and then continuing to walk around.

"Neha don't jump. You will spill your milk…" Bani said looking up from her book. Just then she felt a small bit of pain again. She let out a deep breath when it faded, thinking she was probably overexhausted.

"Neha nap?" Bani held out her hand. Neha made her way towards Bani and together they went upstairs.

They were lying down, Neha was kicking her legs, obviously too awake to sleep. Bani felt another pain in her back and stomach, and this time closed her eyes.

Neha stared at he Mama while drinking her milk. "Mama sad?"

"No my love… Mama is happy…" Bani sat up and rubbed her stomach.

"Ouchee?" Neha asked curiously.

"Yes baby.. very big ouchee.." Bani breathed out as she felt the dull pain. Without Bani realizing, Neha climbed off the bed still holding her milk and ran out of the room excited.

She swung open the door to the study and saw Jai sitting at his desk making notes in his file.

"Papa papa papa papa!"

"Hi Sweetheart! Just what Papa needed! To see his little angel!" He scooped her up in his arms and swung her around happily.

"Ouchee!" Neha had a pout on her face.

"You have an ouchee? Where? Show Papa where!" He inspected her knee to make sure she hadn't fallen.

"No! Mama big ouchee!" Neha whined a bit and pointed outside the door.

"Mama has an ouchee?"

"Esh!" Neha nodded, then pouted a big, feeling sad for her Mama.

Jai thought for a moment, then with Neha still in his arms rushed to their room where Bani was sitting on the bed, taking a deep breath.

Before he could even say anything, Bani looked up at him with an apprehensive look on her face. "Jai… I think.. I think Im in labor…."

"You are?" he looked shocked for a moment. Bani nodded in return and let out a deep breath. A smile formed on his face and he spun Neha around ecstatically.

"Neha did you hear that? The baby is coming! You're going to be a Didi!" He set her down and she bounced excitedly, too. "I cant believe the baby is coming! Im so excited. After so long… Wow!"

"Eedee! Eedee! Nea Eedee!"

"Ok Neha go tell the family! Baby is coming! The baby is going to be here!"

"Bee hea! Nea eeedee!" She ran out the door, while Jai ran his fingers through his hair in disbelief.

"I mean I cant believe already! I cant tell you how excited I am! I mean I waited and waited for this day! Just think! Im going to be holding our baby in my arms! Our baby, Bani! Can you believe it?" Jai rambled on happily. That is until Bani's expression changed.

"Jai…." She called out to him. She closed her eyes and clutched her stomach a bit. "It hurts…"

"What?" His excitement quickly faded as he began to panic. "Oh my God.. what are we going to do? Should I call the hospital? No I have to get your bag together! But I should probably get the car out first! But maybe I should call the doctor!"

Meanwhile Neha had made her way out of the room, and found Jigyasa and Masi talking in another room.

"Heehee!" Neha laughed loudly.

"Haye meri bacchi!" Masi held her arms out. Neha hopped her way towards her.

"Nea eeedee! Bee hea!" She pointed towards the door.

"The baby is here? But Raima is right here!"

"Mama bee!" She jumped around with her arms in the air. "Nea eedee! Eedee! Eedee!" She squealed excitedly. She took Masi's hand and tried to pull her along. Curious as to what she wanted to show, Masi followed her, along with Jigyasa who was holding Raima in her arms.

They made their way to Jai and Bani's room, where Bani was rubbing her stomach with her eyes closed and Jai was kneeling in front of her holding her hand, with a clearly frightened look on his face.

"Bani? Beta, whats the matter?"

"Masi, I think shes in labor…" Jai said, his face had turned a little pale, clear with worry, rather than the excitement he had before.

"Since when, Bani?" Masi said immediately sitting down next to Bani.

"Im not sure. I think since this morning…"

"This morning?! Bani you didn't tell me!" Jai looked surprised. "Why didn't you tell me? I mean you should have said something…"

"I didn't know…. I didn't think it was a anything…" She said shakily. Jai felt guilty. It was true, how would she have realized. It the first time she was going through this. He nodded and gave her a faint smile, apologetically.

"Accha, you get her bag ready," Masi directed him. He silently nodded, giving Bani a worried look, wanting to be with her. Bani sat there taking a deep breath, as for the moment she felt allright.

"Beta, how are you feeling?" Masi held her hand. Bani teared when she did that, really missing her mother at the moment. "Don't be scared, beta. There is nothing to worry about. Sab kuch teekh ho jayega…"

Then out of nowhere, Neha started to cry as she was seeing her Mama cry. Jai stopped his work and went to the little girl who was crying and pointing to Bani. "Whats the matter, baby? What happened?" She pointed to Bani.

"Is it because Mama is crying?" He asked the little girl.

Neha nodded. "Mama sad!"

Jai picked her up in his arms, patting her back softly. "Mama isn't sad, sweetheart. Don't cry, ok? We need to be happy for Mama. See?" He said smiling, although he knew he felt far from smiling at that moment. "Give Mama a kissy…" He lowered her towards Bani and she gave her Mama a kiss, making Bani give a small smile. "Good girl."

He wiped Neha's tears, and Jigyasa offered to take her out. He graciously agreed, and Jigyasa left with Raima and Neha.

A few minutes later, he heard Bani whimper and close her eyes again. Masi looked at Jai, knowing he wanted to help. "Jai, you sit with Bani for one minute…" Excusing herself, knowing that he should spend the moment with Bani.

He nodded and took Masi's place, taking Bani's hands in his own. "Take a deep breath, Sweetheart. We'll get through this…" He whispered to her. She nodded and took a long drawn out breath. She eventually opened her eyes, and found his watching her every move. She smiled at him weakly, then cupped his cheek, showing him that she knew he was there for her. He kissed her hand and helped her up. Taking her bag and throwing it over his shoulder, he walked her downstairs where the family had gathered.

They walked the couple out to the car, where the driver had pulled up, and promised to reach the hospital soon after. Seeing how much Jai needed to feel useful at this moment, she decided let Jai sit with her in the back and let him take care of Bani, while she sat in the front.

He held her worriedly, but Bani remained calm for most of the ride. They were stuck at the red light and Jai wanted to scream. He couldn't let anything happen to his wife or baby, especially not because of a red light. He cursed under his breath, but Bani heard it all and smiled to herself.

"Whats so funny?" He asked as he saw her smile.

"You…" She replied back cheekily.

He calmed himself down, seeing her smile made him feel better. Just then Bani closed her eyes, and took a deep breath again. He felt her squeeze his hand a little tight. He looked at her nervously as she took a few deep breaths. She bit her lip, the pain had increased. He didn't have to ask to know.

"Just breath, Bani… We're almost there…" He said shakily, as the light finally changed color and the car moved.

The moment they reached the hospital, a nurse was waiting as they had called ahead of time. They wheeled Bani inside, while Jai quickly checked into the hospital, his attention on his wife rather than the papers. Not even knowing what he filled out, he signed the papers and quickly ran off after him. But as he was about to enter the room, the nurse stopped him.

"Sir, it will just be one moment," She said standing in front of the door.

"But that's my wife! She needs me!"

She smiled at the handsome man standing before her. "I know, Sir, but they are just going to be a couple of minutes. If you could wait-"

"I don't want to wait! That's my wife and my child! I demand to go inside!" He nearly yelled out.

"Sir, please keep your voice down. This is a hospital," The nurse said sternly.

"But-"

"Sir, please sit down," She pushed him down on a chair. "The doctor will be out shortly and you will be able to be with your wife." Feeling a bit irritated, she walked off as Jai grumpily sat in the chair.

Bani was in there, his Bani. His need to be with her was so great that his heart ached. He couldn't stand the thought of her being in pain, and him not at least being there for her.

"Beta, where is Bani?" Masi came in. She couldn't keep up with Jai when they reached the hospital.

"Masi, shes inside! But they aren't letting me see her, and they aren't teling me whats going on?" He said clearly panicking.

Just then the door swung open, and Bani's doctor walked out with a gentle smile on her face.

"Doctor! Bani- how is she? Is she ok? When can I see her? Is the baby doing ok? I really need to see my wife, Doctor!" He bombarded her with all these questions, that she stood there a little stunned.

"Calm down, Mr. Walia. She's perfectly fine. I just had to get her settled and do a quick check to see how everything is progressing-"

"And-" He cut her off.

"AND shes perfectly fine. You can go in and be with her now…" She pointed the way, and without a moments hesitation, he sprinted towards her door.

He opened the door slowly, taking a deep breath before he actually entered the room. There he saw Bani, lying in hospital whites, on the bed, with a few monitors hooked up to her.

For a second he was scared to approach her, afraid that something was wrong with all these wires, until she smiled at him, and nodded for him to come further.

"How are you?" He asked softly. He mustered the courage and finally picked her hand in his, and clutched it firmly.

"Ok…"

"In pain?"

"What do you think?" She answered, but when she saw his crestfallen expression, she tried to make it feel better. "It comes and goes…" She laughed gently. He felt a bit more relaxed. A nurse dropped into the room, shyly smiling at the handsome man in front of her, but also at how cute the two of them looked together.

Masi entered the room, seeing them together, and quietly put her stuff down. She felt lighter as her son comforted his wife so sweetly. She let them take the moment to themselves.

Jai looked up at the monitors, trying to keep himself occupied by figuring out what they went, when he felt Bani squeeze his hand. He looked at her, her eyes were shut, and he looked at the nurse, somewhat helpless.

"Do something! She's in pain! Please just make it stop!"

The nurse approached Bani, and talked to her gently, leaving Jai furious. "Don't just stand there! Do something! Stop the pain!"

The nurse was a little annoyed. "Sir, there is not much we can do… Besides nobody said this would be painless!" The nurse went about her business, checking the charts, and Jai just felt upset.

"You mean you aren't going to do anything? How can you say that? You're a nurse Goddammit!"

"Jai!" Masi exclaimed.

"Mr. Walia, Im going to have to ask you to either keep calm or to please sit outside," The nurse responded.

"But-" Jai started.

"Jai, stop…" Bani said sternly.

He turned towards her, as she looked at him not too thrilled.

"Jai, she is doing her job, ok. Just calm down," She scolded him. "There is only so much she can do."

"I know.. but… but I don't like seeing you like this…" he said like a boy who had been caught stealing.

Masi stepped closer to them. "Jai, maybe you should take a walk to calm down…"

"Nahi Masi. I will feel worse if I left right now…"

Bani nodded at Masi to indicate she was fine with the decision he made. Bani held Jai's hand as she felt the pain return, Jai leaned into her, letting her squeeze his hand, as the tears fell from her eyes and as she suppressed her voice so she wouldn't scream. He whispered to her trying to comfort her, and eventually the pain subsided. Masi quietly left the room, knowing they were each others support, and knowing the rest of the family would be arriving fairly quickly.

Jai sat with her, as she rested as much as she could. Bani was lying there, with her eyes closed, but still wide awake, waiting for the next wave of pain to arrive. Jai simply watched her, despite having a newspaper in his hand. He couldn't get himself to read and instead watched his wife with the utmost attention.

There was a slight knock on the door that brought him out of this thoughts. Bani didn't stir, nor did she open her eyes. He opened the door and peeked out to see Jigyasa standing there, holding Neha's hand.

"Hawwo!" She said looking up at Jai.

Jai smiled, she always brought a smile to his face. "Come here, angel… we have to be very quiet for Mama, ok?" he whispered to her as he lifted her into his arms.

"Nea go mama!" She pointed to Bani.

"Lets let Mama rest today, what do you say?" He tried to coax her.

"Its ok… She can sit here…" Bani said opening her eyes slowly.

"Are you sure?" He asked. She nodded in response and he brought Neha and sat her next to Bani.

"Mama shee!" Neha said showing her the picture book she brought with her. "Ish bee!"

Bani glanced at the book. She smiled at the title. "Im a Big Sister". Neha looked really excited as she looked through the pictures and pointing to them.

"Neha, you are going to be a good girl for Mama, yes?"

"Esh!" Neha answered, though not really paying attention.

Jai watched them as Neha sat with Bani, going through the book. Neha was falling asleep, and Bani had to pause once as she felt a wave of pain return. But she tried not to let it show, although Jai sensed something was going on. Without scaring Neha, he quietly sat on Bani's other side and held her hand. She looked up at him with tears in her eyes.

"Bani…?" He whispered to her. He knew the pain was increasing. When it gradually subsided he looked at Neha who had fallen asleep against Bani.

"I think Neha should stay with Masi outside.. in case…" He said cautiously. Bani nodded and he lifted Neha, who woke up when she was moved.

"No! Mama tay! Nea tay Mama!" She pouted. Bani felt bad and looked sadly at her baby girl.

"Its ok baby. Mama is just right here. You go sit with Masi. She will read you a story…" Jai said trying to reason with her. "Can you give Mama a hug and say bye?"

He set Neha on the bed and she waddled her way to Bani and threw her tiny arms around Bani. Bani felt the tears stream down her cheeks. "Mama loves you." She gave Neha a big hug and kiss and waved as Jigyasa took her out to Masi, leaving just the two of them in the room.

Jai sat next to her and held her hand, not sure what to say to make her at ease. She moaned slightly and he looked at her, as she began to squeeze his hand.

"Bani, tell me what I can do to help…" He offered, feeling more than lost.

"You've done enough, Jai…" She snipped back as the pain increased. She let out another muffled scream and he looked at her surprised, but still held her hand, not willing to let go.

A few minutes later, she relaxed again, taking a deep breath and settling back against the pillow. Jai looked scared, afraid to say anything, but kept holding her hand. She looked at him, noticing how he wanted to say something to her, but was holding back. She felt bad then, realizing she had snapped at him.

"Sorry…" She said softly.

He looked up at her and shook his head with a smile. "No, Bani… you are doing all the hardwork.. You have every right to say what you wish…" She held out her arms for him and he happily obliged, never missing the opportunity to comfort his wife or be close to her.

The doctor stopped into the room sometime later to check in on Bani several times. She seemed to be doing fine, but Jai was still worried as Bani would hear small cries from his wife.

Tears streamed down her face and she tried her best not to show him how much pain she was in, but it was evident on her face.

She whimpered slightly, for a split second, Jai smiled to himself, as it was how Neha sounded when she whimpered. But quickly bringing himself out of it, he rushed to her side and brought her into his arms, rubbing her back, hoping to make the pain dissipate.

"Another one?" He asked meekly. She nodded slightly and looked up at him. He looked pale and scared.

"Im ok, Jai…" She touched his cheek. Not soon after, another contraction hit and she squeezed Jai's hand harder than the previous time. She let out a slight scream taking Jai by surprise. The doctor entered the room at the same time, seeing the couple together, and waiting for a moment till the pain subsided. The scene in front of her made her smile. Perspiration gave Bani a tired glow, but Jai deftly wiped it with a towel. She smiled to herself as she saw Jai sweetly caress her hair, and kiss her hand when it was over.

They turned to see the doctor standing there, and Jai reluctantly let go of her hand for a check up.

"Anything…?" Jai asked wondering after the doctor checked over her charts.

"Shes still got some ways to go. But you hang in there, Bani. You're doing just fine." The doctor said with a warm smile. Jai felt defeated. It wasn't nearly over yet? Just how much could he take of seeing his Bani in pain.

After some time, Bani had not progressed as much as they had hoped, but Jai waited as patiently as he could. Inside he was feeling restless, but knowing Bani was in a more dire situation than he, he kept it to himself. There was a soft knock on the door a couple of hours later. Jai turned with his tired eyes to see who it was.

Jigyasa popped her head in, holding a sleeping Neha. "Hi… Hows she doing?"

Jai looked at Bani, with her hand resting on her stomach, getting a little sleep. "Shes ok for now…" Jai waited a second before turning back to Jigyasa. "Di… does it always take this long? I mean don't you think the doctor should have done something by now?"

Jigyasa really wanted to laugh at him, but knew he was in no position to take a joke. "It can take quite a bit of time, Jai. The doctors are here checking up on her, and even they are telling you she is fine, right?"

He nodded. "I guess you are right…" He looked at Neha sleeping on Jigyasas shoulder. "Was she ok?"

"She was fine, a little tired…"

"Di, why don't you take her home. Its past her dinnertime." Jai thought for a moment. "Actually, Di, you go home and get some rest too. I'll call you if something happens."

Jigyasa looked at him, her eyes hesitating. But he nodded. "Trust me, I will definitely call you. Its just going to take some time still…"

"Will you be ok? Should we bring you some food?"

"No, Im fine.."

"Yes, Di… send him something to eat…." Bani said faintly. She opened her eyes and looked at Jai. "He hasn't eaten since morning…"

"But nor have you…"

"But nor have you…"

"Yes, but I cant. Di don't listen to him.." Bani said with finality.

Jigyasa took her hint and walked to Bani, giving her a hug and letting her give Neha a kiss before they left.

Bani leaned back and rested her eyes for a moment. Jai on the chair, wanting to hold her hand, but not wanting to disturb her. She sensed him near her and looked at him, playing with the edge of her blanket.

She smiled to herself. She took his hand in hers, and entwined their fingers. He looked up at her surprised, then relaxed.

"You never hesitated to hold my hand before… why now?" She teased him.

"Bani I… I mean.. You… I mean.." He sputtered. Taking a deep breath he looked at her semi amused smile. "Ive never seen you like this. It scares me to see you in so much pain…" He looked really embarrassed as Bani just giggled to herself. She gasped for a second and Jai nearly jumped.

"What happened? Are you ok?"

Bani continued her giggle. "The baby thought you were being funny too…"

He had to laugh at himself. He put his hand on her stomach and looked at her twinkling eyes.

Four agonizing hours later, Bani's contractions were coming closer. Jai had pestered the nurse so many times, she lectured him that the doctor would be by soon enough to check on Bani as procedure called for. A short while later, the doctor came back, and Jai had to restain himself from scolding her for taking so long.

She quickly checked Bani out and then sought out to scribble some things on her chart. After rechecking what she wrote, she looked up at the couple with a smile. "Ready?"

Bani breathed hard as Jai looked at her excitedly. They turned to the doctor and nodded. The nurse came in soon enough to wheel them out to the delivery room, Jai holding he hand the entire way out.

"Should we call the family?" Bani asked Jai. He squeezed her hand gently and nodded.

"I'll call Masi. Do you think you can handle it a minute without me?" He asked worriedly. She shook her head as she squeezed his hand, trying to cope with the pain that wasn't seem to leaving her at this point.

"Just breath, Bani.." He said. They waited a moment, and then when she let his hand go, he kissed her forehead promising he would be in with her soon. He quickly dialed home, and Masi picked frantically, but excited to find out that Bani was already in the delivery room. As he ended the call and headed to be with Bani, the nurse stopped him, almost angering him for separating him from his wife, but then settled down when she handed him a blue gown.

A few minutes later, he put his hand on the door taking a deep breath to himself before he stepped in. He paused for a moment taking a second to collect himself but even that moment was cut short when he heard Bani crying in pain. He pushed the door open, to see her eyes tightly shut and ran to hear, almost knocking one of the nurses down.

"What took you so long?" She asked shakily.

"Im so sorry.. Im here now," He held her hand firmly.

"Jai don't leave me.. please? I need you…" She moaned as a contraction hit her hard again.

"Never.. Im not going anywhere. I promise you, Bani…"

She clutched his hand hard and he nearly yelped. "Ow! That hurt!" He let out, freezing in his tracks just as the words left his mouth. Bani, despite her breathing looked at him, scalding him with her looks alone, and even the nurses looked at him surprised that he would choose to say that.

"That hurt, Jai?" Bani snapped at him. "Why don't you try giving birth to a child, THEN tell me if that hurts…."

"I.. Im sorry I didn't mean it like that…." He said clearly regretting what he had done.

The nurses laughed amongst themselves for a moment, and Jai obediently took Bani's hand back. Seconds later, as she screamed in pain, she seemed to forget his comment, and clutched on to him for support.

"Jai, I don't know if I can do this…"

"You can, sweetheart. You are the strongest person I have ever known. If anyone can do this, its you…"

"It hurts, Jai… I don't know if I can…." She clutched his hand, to the point where he was sure his fingers were turning blue.

Jai wished he could take the pain away from her, but he knew at this point he had to be supportive, and not think wishfully. "Bani just think.. in a short while, the baby will be here. Our baby, our son or daughter. The one we've been waiting for, for so long… It will all be worth it… "

"Just a little bit more, Bani.. you're doing fine…" Bani half registered what the doctor had said. She just looked into Jai's reassuring eyes and prepared herself. As she was about to let out a blood curdling scream, the room was soon filled with the loud shriek of a baby crying. Bani looked to see the doctor holding up a tiny little baby, and the nurses rushing to get it cleaned up.

"Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Walia… It's a boy!"

"A boy?" Bani wasn't sure she heard right. She smiled to herself as the tears fell downher cheeks. "A boy…" She whispered to herself. She looked up at Jai who was standing there in awe.

Jai stood perfectly still. The shrill cry was at that moment, the most beautiful sound in the world to him. His eyes fell on the nurse who was walking to him, with a tiny bundle of a blue blanket in her arms.

"Would you like to hold your son, Mr. Walia?"

He hesitated, not taking his eyes off of the tiny face that was partially hidden in the blanket, but instinctly held his arms out. He was scared, and as nervous as he had ever been. The nurse carefully put the baby in his arms, making sure he was being held correctly. Jai swallowed the lump in his throat and just looked at the little boy. His son. Their son.

At that moment Jai realized that although he had just held his son for the first time, he loved him more than life itself. He couldn't even describe to himself just what this little boy meant to him, he would give up everything he had, just for the tiny bundle in his arms. Just then, the baby's eyes fluttered open and Jai felt his heart warm to see that his wish had come true. He had Bani's eyes. He smiled to himself, unable to comprehend the million thoughts, and unable to describe the warmth he felt in his heart. Slowly taking steps towards Bani and looked at her quietly.

She looked up hopefully and held her arms out, her heart feeling an ache to hold her son. He slowly set the baby in her arms, and she could just feel herself crying unabashedly, but she could care less. Jai watched her, as she clearly fell in love with the baby in her arms, and felt a tear trickle down his cheek. He looked at his wife and the baby that rested in her arms, trying to muster the strength to say something.

"Bani.." His voice shook. "He.. He's so beautiful…"

Bani laughed softly through her tears and then nodded. "He's just as handsome as his father…" She said proudly. She gently touched the babys cheek with her finger.

The nurse had let them have a few moments, as a family before ushering Jai out of the room to get Bani and their son settled. As he stepped out, still feeling in disbelief, he found Masi, Jigyasa and Adi waiting to hear the news.

With a beaming smile, he announced proudly, "We have a son," and immediately found himself being drowned in hugs and congralatory messages. Soon after the family went to see Bani and the newest member of their family. Bani looked tired, and both Jigyasa and Masi decided to let the new mother and father have some rest and time alone with their new son until they returned in the morning.

Jai sat with Bani as she fell asleep, her eyes resting on the baby in the cot next to her as her eyes closed slowly. She was obviously tired, but still fell asleep with a smile on her face. Jai watched her sleep, covering her carefully with a blanket and kissing her forehead gently. She had been through a lot that day, and he realized he wasn't sure if he could endure what she had been through that day… He was proud of her and had fallen in love with her all over again, just as he did every day he was with her.

The baby uncomfortable whimpered for a second and Jai rushed to his side, not wanting him to cry and wake up Bani. Carefully, he picked up the baby into his arms, and his son looked up at him.

"Hey buddy, whats the matter? Papa is here, theres no need to cry…" The baby stopped whimpering as Jai rocked him slightly. "Do you know how special you are? So many people love you and have been waiting to meet you for so long… Me, Mama… And even your big sister Neha. You completed our family..." He whispered softly. He kissed the babys head so gently, trying to hold back his tearts. "We love you so much. I promise I will try to be the best Papa. I will love you so much and protect you… Mama, you and Neha are everything to me. You are my world, and I will do anything to keep you happy… I love you…"

Jai looked down to see the baby had fallen asleep in his arms, perfectly settled and comfortable and snuggled up against him. Jai had never felt so complete in his life. His wish had come true, a family to call his own. He had a son and a daughter, and a beautiful and loving wife. He looked at the baby sleeping in his arms for a few moments, reminding himself never to forget this moment.

He watched his son sleeping, shift a bit in his sleep. "Sshhh…" He tried to settle the baby down as he rocked slightly. After a little bit,he eventually settled the baby back into the cot before taking a seat on a semicomfortable chair. He watched tiny little boy and his wife sleep, making sure they were close enough to him at all times. Truth be told, he didn't want to sleep. He wanted to watch his son the entire night, but it had been a long day, and the tiredness crept up on him as he watched them sleep, smiling to himself as he knew that just then, life was absolutely perfect.

***

Jai sat next to Bani, as she held her son. He had woken up a few times in the night, and as much as Jai didn't want to wake Bani up, he had no choice, as their son was hungry. But now, he was asleep, looking as precious as he did just a few hours before. Jai touched his pink cheeks lightly, and looked up as he heard a knock on the door. Masi peeked in the door, and entered the room with an excited smile on her face. Jigyasa followed holding Neha's hand, who, as soon as she walked in became excited. The rest of the family came in behind.

"Hawoo! Hawooo! Papa pay!" She ran towards the bed, where Masi was standing next to Bani admiring the bundle in her arms. As soon as she saw the baby in her Mama's arms she paused then ran behind Jai, hugging his leg and burying her face.

"Neha… Neha was wrong, sweetheart? Don't you want to see your little brother?"

"Ish Mama my…" Neha peeked her head from behind Jai, but when she saw her Mama still holding the baby, she went right back to hiding.

"Theres nothing to be scared of…" Jai said lifting Neha into his arms. She promptly buried her face in his shoulder and looked away from them.

"See? The baby?" Jai said sweetly. "That's your little brother… which makes you a didi! Remember Neha? Didi?"

Neha turned her head and looked at the baby, still reluctant to give in just then. It took her a few minutes, but she pointed towards the baby and quietly declared to everyone. "Ish bee…"

"Yes, its baby! And you are Didi!" Jai tickled her tummy, making her laugh.

"Bee!: Neha finally shrieked and clapped. "Ish bee!" She pointed. "Nea eedee!"

Raima, who was in Ranveers arms, giggled and shrieked and Neha's clapping. "Babababa!" She babbled happily.

Jai wanted to laugh. "Sssshhhh… Baby is sleeping We don't want to wake him up.. We're going to be good for Mama right?"

"Esh…" Neha responded as she continued to look at the baby in her Mama's arms. "Mama my?"

"Well she is your Mama AND his Mama… Who is going to take care of him, otherwise? Mama right?" Jai asked slowly.

Neha nodded. Jai carefully set her next to Bani, and Neha looked at the baby. "Nea eedee…" Neha said to herself and the baby, who remained asleep.

"Jai you would really go get some rest…" Aditya said noticing that his brother-in-law looked a bit tired.

"No.. Im fine…" Jai said trying to give them a reassuring file.

"Jai…" Bani said softly, touching his hand. He looked at her, deep into her eyes. "Go home, please. Rest a little and then come back. You were up all night with me, you need some rest… Please? For me?"

"But I wanted to be here-"

"We aren't going anywhere without you…" She promised him. He smiled and nodded.

"Ill go.. but in a little bit. Its not everyday we welcome a baby into the family…" He squeezed her hand in return.

"Ok ok.. my turn now…" Masi said, obvious her patience was running low. "I want to hold my grandson in my own arms… So do you have a name?" She took the baby and cooed softly.

Jai and Bani looked at one another and smiled. "Yeah.. we have a name," Jai smiled, holding his wife's hand.

Masi and the family looked at the couple curiously. Bani smiled. "Atharva. Atharva Jai Walia…"

"Atharva… It's a beautiful name!" Jigyasa exclaimed.

"Hello Atharva! Im your Dadi! Can you say Dadi?"

"Dadi!" Neha answered for him. She felt excited that she was able to answer the question even if she wasn't asked. Jai scooped her into his arms and planted a kiss on her cheek. The family laughed, and the baby began to whimper a bit.

Masi rocked him slightly, and then everyone took turns, handling the baby carefully. Eventually the baby started to whimper and fidget, making Neha wondering why.

"Bee sad?" Neha pointed to her little brother. "Bee appy!" She told the baby, trying to make him stop.

"I think he's hungry…" Masi handed Bani the baby, while they all filed out of the room, waving good-bye and whispering that they would come back later, except Neha who was still sitting

"Jai, go home and rest a little bit… You look tired. After he sleeps, even I will try and sleep for a little bit…"

"Are you sure?" He said

She nodded and Jai conceded. "Say bye to Mama and Atharva, Neha.."

"Mama ome!" Neha pouted.

"She will come home, jaldi jaldi, but first she has to feel a little better right? Like when Neha has an ouchie in her tummy?"

"Mama ouchee?" She blew a flying kiss to her Mama. "Ish betta!"

"Thank you baby…" Bani said tearing. She loved her little angel so much, and it made her feel special that Neha loved her back so much.

"How about one for the baby too?" Jai asked tentatively.

It took her a moments hesitation and contemplation but she gave in and gave a flying kiss to the baby who had just begun to cry. Jai leaned in and kissed Bani softly, but she knew there was something there he wanted to say, just unable to find the words to express it. He then kissed the top of the baby's head. "Love you both…" Bani felt her eyes water as he walked out, taking one more look before he headed for home.

As Bani nursed her son, she looked down at him memorizing his every feature. "You really do look like your Papa…" Bani realized the baby in her arms was in this world because she and Jai loved each other. Atharva and Neha were their world.

She looked down at her son, caressing his pink cheek softly. She felt a tear trickle down, as she thought back. A couple of years ago, she could have never imagined this would be her life. She had come to a new city, for the purpose of taking care of Neha, the angel in her life. She didn't know how she would survive each passing day, how she would find the strength to take care of Neha and protect her. She accepted that she would have to live out the hardships, but fate had something else in store for her. Something wonderful, something she could have never imagined. She never thought she would be here, cradling her son, with a daughter and loving husband at home, with the rest of the family.

Both Jai and Neha had changed her life, bringing her an unsurmountable amount of joy and love. And she loved them, with every bit of her heart. Now with her son in her arms, the love in her heart only grew.

Epilogue

****

"Atharva look at the mess you made on Mama!" Bani said while trying to feed her two year old son.

He giggled and gave her such an endearing smile as he put his messy hands up happily. She smiled at him, he was too adorable to be mad at. As she cleaned him up, he fidgeted wanting to be let down from his high chair to play with his toy truck. "Just one second, baby…" She wiped his mouth clean then lifted him up giving him a kiss and a cuddle before letting him waddle off to the middle of the room.

As she cleaned up after him and left for the kitchen, her four year old angel, Neha ran through the door holding a paper in her hand and small backpack on her back, only to be greeted by Tony.

"Tony Uncle!" She exclaimed happily.

"Hello Neha! Did you have a good day at play school?" He asked as he took her backpack from her, as he did every day

"Yes!" She looked in to see her baby brother crawling around the carpet making truck sounds. "Tharva!" She ran to her baby brother and gave him a big hug and kiss. Just then Bani walked out of the kitchen after hearing her daughters sweet voice.

"My baby is back home!" Bani opened her arms and Neha ran into them.

"Mama mama look! I got a gold star! Teacher said I did a good job. Its preeeety! See see!" Neha said waving the paper in front of her mother.

"Let me see…" Bani said taking the paper.

"I wrote Neha.. see? N-E-H-A! And then I made all the flowers.. isn't it preety?"

"Yes, baby.. its beautiful," Bani kissed Neha's cheek proudly. Just then Tony walked in with a cup of milk and handed it to Bani. "Chalo Neha.. drink your milk."

Neha made a face. "I don't wanna drink it…"

"You have to ,baby… how else will you grow up to be strong like Papa? Drink fast.. remember you have to make a card for Papa's Birthday…"

"I forgot Mama!" Neha quickly drank her milk, making a face after. Bani smiled then brought Atharva to the kitchen table and set out crayons, markers and papers for her children to draw.

"Me too! Me too!" Raima said running in. Bani smiled and picked Raima up and set her next to Atharva.

"Of course you too.. You're going to make a card for Mamu?"

"Yesh! I luuub Mamu!"

Bani watched them for a moment, beginning to draw. She quietly laughed as she saw Atharva was drawing lots of squiggly lines, with no real picture. But he looked so happy, she knew that was all that mattered. She went back to the kitchen to finish with dinner as the kids worked on their cards.

***

After some time, Neha was playing with Raima and their dolls, while Atharva crawled around the drawing room pushing his red truck. The wheel of the truck rolled off and within the next moment Atharva was crying because he thought he broke his toy.

At that moment, Jai strolled into the house, handing Tony his briefcase and loosening his tie. The day had been overwhelmingly busy, filled with meetings. But the moment he saw the kids, he felt much better. Running over to Atharva he scooped his son into his arms, wiping his tears.

"Whats the matter, buddy? What happened?"

"Tuckie bwoke…" He said sadly.

"Oh.. Truckie broke.. Lets see if Papa can fix it…" He set Atharva down and picked up the wheel and car. Atharva stood in front of him, watching carefully. Within seconds, Jai had snapped it back together and handed him the fixed car. "All fixed!" He handed the truck back to Atharva, who was jumping excitedly.

"Paaaapaaa!!!!!" Neha ran and hugged Jai's leg excitedly. "Papa look look! Teacher gave me a gold star!"

Jai smiled proudly at his daughter.

"Papa are you going to put this on your wall?" She said referring to the wall in his study, which was filled with their drawings and pictures. "Pweez?"

"Of course, baby… this is just beautiful… Where is Mama?"

"Mama is making food!" She pointed to the kitchen. She then sat down with Atharva and started playing with him.

Jai made his way to the kitchen, where Bani was hovering over the stove, stirring several pots of food. He walked up behind her and snaked his arms around her waist. "Hi Sweetheart…" He kissed her cheek then rested his chin on her shoulder. "Smells wonderful…"

Bani blushed as he held her close, and he loved that even after a few years of marriage, he could make her blush like a newlywed. "I made all your favorite dishes…"

He smiled and quickly snuck a bite.

"Hey! Wait till dinner…" She swatted his hand, but it was too late. He was already happily chewing.

Turning her in his arms, he leaned close to her, millimeters from her lips. "Delicious…" He whispered and leaned closer, until he felt a tug.

"No my mama!" Atharva pouted as he tried to push Jai away. Jai snickered and stepped back as he hugged Bani's legs.

"My little badmash. I thought you were on my side…" Jai teased the little boy.

"Papa lets play a game! Please Papa please please?" She asked.

"Neha, let Papa rest. He just came home from work..." Bani scolded her lightly.

"Its ok Bani… What do you want to play, Angel?" He lifted Neha into his arms.

"Pay! Up Up!" Atharva held up his arms. Jai leaned down and picked him up as well, so that both his children were in his arms. Bani watched them leave the kitchen together laughing and excited about playing games together.

***

Dinner was a lively affair, with all the children chattering away, asking all sorts of questions and laughing away.

"Mama!" Neha tried to whisper.

"Yes, baby?" Bani asked as she extended a spoon to Atharva, who was not wanting to eat the green vegetables.

"When are we going to give Papa his surprise?" Neha tried to whisper, but failed miserably, as Jai heard everything she had said. But he pretended not to hear, although he was unable to hide the smile on his face. Bani noticed and suppressed her own smile.

"After dinner… now quietly eat your dinner…"

Bani looked at her plate and smiled, knowing that Jai was smiling at her.

The family finished dinner and they gathered in the drawing room, with Atharva on Jai's lap. Neha and Raima were with Bani, and only came out when they dimmed the lights, following behind Bani who was holding a cake with lit candles.

"Happy Birfday Papa!" Neha said excitedly.

"All this cake for me?" He pretended to be shocked.

"No Papa! That's silly! You have to share!" She laughed hysterically and Atharva even got in on the laughter and clapped.

Jai took his daughter by his side, and with his little boy in his lap, he counted and they blew out the candles together. They both fed him cake, mostly frosting, an then Bani took her turn as she fed him. He looked at her, his eyes thanking her to levels only they could understand.

"Papa Papa! I made this for you! And Tharva made this! And Raima made this!" She handed Jai the cards they worked so hard on earlier.

"Lets see!" Jai sat back as Bani passed out cake. He looked at the first card, which was full of squiggles and lines and dots. "Well this has to be from Atharva!"

"Right!" Neha exclaimed.

The next card had a crooked flower with a lopsided heart and triangles and squares scattered all over. "And this must be from Raima…" he said pinching her cheek.

"Then that means this has to be from Neha!" He said happily.

"See Papa! Do you see! See.. this is a dwagon.." She pointed to a green blob on the sheet. "And this is me…" She said pointing to this figure in pink. "And this is you Papa! See! It looks like you!" She pointed to a strange gray looking figure. Jai knew that had she not explained he would have never understood what it was, but thankfully his daughter was a chatterbox and explained before he had a chance to misunderstand.

"This is just beautiful. They all are beautiful. And this cake is delicious!" Jai said happily. "This was the best birthday I've ever had!" Jai genuinely meant it. He couldn't ask for more than being with his family on his special day.

"Dadi dadi!" Neha ran to Masi and climbed onto her lap. "Was Papa a good boy when he was little?"

"He was a little naughty just like you," She tickled her grand daughter.

"But Im a good girl Dadi! Even teacher says so…"

"You are a good girl.. and so is Raima and so is Atharva…"

Neha laughed, covering her mouth. "No Dadi! Tharva is a boy! He cant be a good girl!"

Jigyasa chuckled. "Jai, this is from me and Adi…" She handed him a package, and he opened it to reveal a beautiful new wallet.

"Thank you, Di!" He went over and hugged his sister and brother in law.

Then Rano and Ranveer handed him a gift as well, a new jacket, which he simply loved. He tried it on immediately. "How does it look?" He said with a smile.

"So hanshom, right Mama?" She asked innocently. Bani blushed, not wanting to answer in front of the whole family.

"Really Bani…" Masi teased her.

"Reeeally Dadi! Every morning Mama tells Papa that he looks hanshom! Then Papa gives her a kissy," She giggled.

"Neha…" Jai said.

"And then he gives her a kissy when he comes home from office. Right Papa?"

Bani felt absolutely mortified, but couldn't find anywhere to run at the moment. The family just laughed loudly, while Jai smiled wrapping his arm around Bani as she buried her face in his shoulder.

The family spent the rest of the evening together, Masi enjoying watch her grandkids play. She took Atharva upstairs when he fell asleep, and decided to head to bed as well, while Rano took the girls to read them a story and give Jai and Bani a little alone time since he had been with the kids the whole evening.

***

Jai walked out of the wash room, throwing the towel carelessly to the side, when he saw Bani in front of the mirror removing her earrings. Putting his arms around her, he kissed the nape of her neck softly. "Thank you for a wonderful birthday…"

Bani smiled as she set her earring down. "Im glad you enjoyed it…"

"So how was your day," Jai asked half distracted as he caressed her waist.

"Busy as usual. Your son is quite a handful," She teased him. "And so is your little chatterbox…"

"But they are both so amazing… You are amazing…" He said trailing kisses down her shoulder. Bani turned around and looked into his dark and intense eyes. He leaned into her and kissed her softly a couple of times, until he started to snicker.

"What happened?" Bani said surprised.

"Nothing… just thinking of what my little girl was saying earlier… About you calling me handsome.. So, Mrs. Walia.. Why didn't you admit in front everyone that you think Im handsome?"

"Aap bhi naa…" She tried pushing him back, blushing furiously, but he held her tight.

"You forgot something…" He lifted her chin, so her eyes could meet his.

"What?" She looked up curiously.

"My gift…"

Breathing deep, she slowly wrapped her arms around him, pulling him closer. "What gift?" She asked softly.

"My birthday gift…"

She pulled back, with a pensive expression. "But.. I gave you your gift this morning. The watch…." She lifted his wrist, reminding him of the watch she gifted him early that morning. She had written a special engraving, and in a circle, her initials along with the childrens as well.

"Hmmm my other gift… "

"What other gift…"

He smirked mischeviously and leaned in, whispering so softly that it sent shivers down her neck. "You…"

Bani felt flutters in her heart, in amazement that Jai could still make her feel like they were just falling in love. He stared into her eyes, melting in the brown pools before him. She smiled softly and he leaned kissing her softly. Bani pulled him closer, and he deepened the kiss, leaving her breathless in the matter of moments. Before she knew it, he had lifted her in his arms and was walking towards the bed, staring into her eyes. "I love you…"

"I love you too…." She whispered. He smiled set her on to the mattress, ever so gently, wrapping his arm around her waist, and leaning in to pick up where they had left off.

Knock knock

Jai paused, as did Bani, feeling pretty sure they were hearing things. He smiled at his wife, and leaned in again, when the knocking came again.

Knock knock

Jai groaned, muttering to himself that who ever was at the door better have a good explanation. As soon as he opened the door, two tiny figures ran into the room and headed towards the bed.

"Papa papa papa can we sleep here? Pweez? There are mowstas in our room.. Right, Tharva? Right?" She jumped in the bed with her old pink haathi.

Tharva nodded as he clutched onto his teddy bear.

"Neha… How many times have I told you there are no such things as monsters?" Jai said semi-sternly, feeling bad that his romantic moment with his wife was interrupted.

"But Papa there are! I saw it! It was scawy! It was like a dwagon!" She assured him, as Atharva climbed to Bani. Neha quickly jumped under the covers.

Jai wanted to scowl to himself and Bani noticed his expression, wanting to laugh. "Its ok… let them stay here. As it is they are already settled in."

With a reluctant sigh, he looked at their two children huddled under the blanket, but still fidgeting out of excitement. Jai laughed to himself. He really couldn't be angry as he loved these moments together, especially walking up to see his family happy and together. He shook his head with a smile and climbed into bed, making sure to tuck in Atharva and Neha, making them all snug.

"Goonight Papa! Goodnight Mama!" Neha said happily.

"Goodnight, my angel. Goodnight, buddy!"

"Nye!" Atharva tried to say as well, as he was starting to doze off.

Bani leaned over and kissed Neha and then Atharva, before they went to sleep. Her heart felt comforted when they were nearby.

As the children fell asleep, Jai propped himself on his arm, looking at Bani who was gently patting Atharva's tummy as he slept. He smiled at her, and she looked at him with the same loving smile.

"Love you…" He whispered.

"Love you too…" She whispered back. As he rested his head on his pillow, he rested his arm across the children, and found Bani's hand, who was also resting her arm over them. He held her hand as they slept, and they both knew that together their lives were perfect.

They completed each other in ways nobody could understand, and they were more than thankful they had found each other. The love that they shared, with each other and their children was all they ever needed.

Dearest readers of Angel of Mine:

I started this store over two years ago, with a simple story in mind. A few ideas had popped into my mind and I brainstormed a bit and finally started writing. What happened after that was an absolute whirlwind. I wrote these characters, especially Neha, thinking in the beginning that they would remain characters only. But I was so wrong. I found that Neha, although I was writing her, had found a place in my heart.

One of the best parts of Angel was that I made a dear friend, popeye. Over the past year and a half, she has been a very dear friend of mine, and I am glad to have met her and her friendship has been very special. I want to thank her especially for helping me with Angel, no matter if it were easy or difficult to write. She has been there for me, even away from Angel. Angel is just as much hers as it is mine. Thanks popeye :)

Angel would have not been possible without all of you either. You, the readers, helped keep Angel alive through these past two years. Your comments, encouragements, and even criticisms have been so meaningful that I cant thank you enough.

Thank you all for reading this story, for making our Neha real in our hearts, and helping keep this version of JB alive. I sincerely thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

~Harvs…

Dearest Readers and Fans of Angel,

Angel has been a wonderful Journey…. For me it started almost two years ago. The Jai and Bani I always wished to see in Kasamh Se came to life through this story. As Kasamh Se dropped lower and lower Angel helped Jai and Bani survive for me.

I am not a writer at all but Harvs sparked my interested with Angel and I enjoyed conceptualizing the story with her… Through the Journey of angel I got to know her and for that I am thankful and will always owe Angel that J

But as all good things must come to an end .. It is time today for us to end this beautiful story. Harvs and me thought about it a lot but came to the conclusion that we wanted Angel to end with the glory it deserves and not to fade away in the pages of the forum. Today as we write the epilogue there is a feeling of sadness as it seems the end of an era … We want to thank all you readers for sharing this journey with us… for all your comments and opinions and for living the story of Jai and Bani with us.

I am not on the forum a lot any more as my personal life has moved on way to quickly in the last year and a half but I'm loving every minute of it… so I have no regrets , but I wanted to thank all of you for your encouragement to Harvs and me through Angel. Angel will always be special and close to my heart and will always stay with me forever.

Thanks for everything

Popeye
