:The Gods envy us. They envy us because we're mortal, because any moment may be our last. Everything is more beautiful because we're doomed. You will never be lovelier than you are now. We will never be here again. | Homer, Iliad:
Hi fellow Karnsanginians , I'm Gargi . * Waves * 😳 I suck at introductions , and I rock in skipping parts where I suck ! 😆
So, introduction over ! 😃Sidhe mudde pe aate hai ! 😉

Kanasangini : Finally I got time out of my hectic schedule to catch up with the episodes properly and I've to say , I did so with great trepidation in the beginning . I'm not a Karna fan , I've objection to the word fan , seems kind of superficial to me in comparison to what I feel for Suryaputra . I worship him. From childhood. 😳

So with this kind of personal emotional attachment , you also become jittery and anxious related to every thing associated with him, no matter if it's even a tv show it has his name associated with it . My Aradhya's name , my Arya's name . I can not keep calm , I confess . I felt like some one extremely dear to me is giving a test. I feel involved.

We find infinite excuses to evade anxiety inducing situations , "triggers" as long as feasible. I did just that . People ran away from sugar tests and evade going to the doctor all the time. Ostrich technique.

Aashim , Kingshuk and Tejasswi looked very promising in the promo . But I still couldn't bring myself to watch the show without hearing a little bit of feedbacks from my sister and fellow forum members first. It was very positive , which encouraged me to watch the show marathon fashion.

Already people gifted with eloquence of expression and fluidity in words and observation have done a great job in pointing out very many nuanced aspects about the show , but when it comes to good things , more is less ! :D

The show :
I must say I'm very impressed with the show. It has great repeat value content wise. It can be and should be watched by general mytho loving viewers , heck, in fact any general tv viewer. It is capable of providing them the joy they deserve to enjoy for giving their time to the tv screen. I've already started recommending it to my friends proudly , secure and confident in the quality , presentation and compactness of the script and how well directed , well shot it is ! A visual joy ride . <33 👏

The casting : In a one week old show , it's simply not possible to do justice to all the characters introduced till now, since there are many characters and all of them are well known ones. 😳

But I'm very happy and really really impressed with the leads Aashim and Tejasswi our Karn -Uruvi , Arjun , Kunti , Duryadhan , Bhishma.
I need to see more of Karna's parents , Shakuni , Dushyashan , Gandhari , Bhishma etc. to give an opinion.

Aashim is not even trying to follow the previous versions of Karna . I'll give him that and I'll say Kudos 👏. He's carving out a fresh niche for himself. He's making it clear that he's not stepping into any one's shoes , but making new shoes for himself , from raw leather , then wearing it and strutting it . Great job for the first week , with some scenes rising above great to become exceptional , with little improvisations , subtle gestures , how much he brings to the table with his body language , his carriage and his eyes , which are piercing like arrows as one of the Uruvi's Saheliya so aptly put. He's full of restraint which is good because most actors tend to overkill it. We're in for paisa vasool and some more here , folks !

Another actor , I'm pleasantly surprized how much I'm impressed with, is Kingshuk's Arjun , who's simply great I must say. 👏 I'm really happy ki sadak se koi chindi sa Arjun pakad ke nehi le aya .
He's full of fresh sparkle , with great ease in a mythological role, and one that of Arjuna ! Effortless and gorgeous in each and every single frame . Carefree , proud , conservative , yet flirtatious and noble. Full marks to Kingshuk. 👏 He's easy on the eyes too. 😉

It was expected from Tejasswi that she'll fit the bill perfectly as the feisty yet feminine Uruvi and she rose up to that expectation. A face that reminds you of fairy tales and historicals automatically , a face that holds both beauty and power and feminine grace , each in equal quantity and a maturity that is complimented by innocence , she takes on the titular role with easy confidence and determined vigor . Superb casting to say the least. Within 2 minutes flat , she's just Uruvi for me , Tejaswini forgotten and that is the best thing one can probably say about an actor.

Kunti - Extremely glamorous ⭐️, almost too much so for a role that is of an widow for the 99 % part 😕, but Sayantani saved it with her natural acting . She's superb with gray roles , so I'm confused why the makers are so hell bent on white washing Kunti's character , after securing Sayantani for the role ! 😕Lost opportunity .
She looked stunning as maiden Kunti . You can expect her to pop out as gorgeous babies as her sons Karn-Arjun are !

Pace of the story is great for now , almost breathlessly so. You can't risk missing a scene , or you might miss some important dialogs or nuance . Script is compact like Oxford pocket dictionary. More importantly, it has twists and turns and is pleasingly unpredictable within a predictable set up.

Background score : Some of them are really good , as the flute tune that plays during Uruvi's banter with Jaya Vijaya or the one plays on Uruvi-Arjun, the lyric less tune that plays when Karn shoots arrows at special occasions , the sad tune when Kunti bid goodbye to an infant Karn , Uruvi introductory tune... so on.

Things I disliked after 1st week :

-: Too much of Arjun-Uruvi scenes . Call me possessive of Uruvi or call me conservative in this regard, or may be because she's going to be the soul mate or Atmasangini of Karn , it was extremely annoying to see so much of Uruvi with Arjun. At first I was ok with their friendship .I also enjoy any opposite gender platonic friendship in a Mytho set up. There are some lovely banters back and forth. Their personalities are some what similar , with Uruvi being more feisty or Arjun easy going charmer. Teju looks really good with Kingshuk in a cute kind of way ( not a patch on the live wire that Karn-Uruvi are though ) , so I enjoyed it until... the flirting started. It's obvious that there are undercurrents and Arjun is much too much fond of Uruvi . Cut down on that makers , or else I'll have an ulcer pretty soon.🤢 Show Arjun as much as you want. In any story that involves Karn , Arjun is important and vice versa , because K_A were arch rivals yet brothers. Their names are taken together many a times . We all understand that. Show Arjun with Karn , with his brothers , with Kunti , with Shon .. with horse .. with whoever however you want as long as it stays relevant to Karn. Keep him away from our Uruvi . She belongs to Karn only. "Dil ke sabse jyada kareeb " yikes ! No no no not done ! Delete ! No triangle needed or wanted . Thank you very much , but we reject and eject any such over closeness.

-: Kunti's portrayal 😕. More in the episode pointers.

-:The blood promise 🤢. More in the episode pointers.

-: Language 😲. Full of bumpy Urdu words "iradein", "dost" ."Tasveer" 😕 Which century is this again !

-: Gravity defying jump of Uruvi's chariot across the large abyss. Suspension of disbelief failed 🤔. Divya horses the kya ????😆 Maybe they're disciples of Rajnikant ! 😃

I'm not going to do methodical episode reviews 😆, since I'm not in the head space to accomplish any such feat nowadays with a brutal job profile. But I'll endeavour to give some of the things from each episodes that I may observe , Sort of bullet points in a haphazard manner , regularly in this thread , for as long as I can continue or the show lasts. Simply hoping and requesting fellow members to join in and drive the chariot . More and more questions lead to the truth . More and more discussions lead to Disney land ! 😃

Will update the thread soon with episodes pointers over the weekend.
Uruvi did not do any elaborate gesture towards Arjun to welcome him , since he's her closest friend . But I will go different. Welcome my friends with open arms.🤗

Hi Gargi first a standing ovation for the quote from Homer 👏

It is so wonderful to see familiar people on this forum people's writing which inspire me you being one of them. And of course how can I not mention Shyamala aunty.

I absolutely liked everything you wrote.

My take about Arjun getting equal space now shows that a heart wants what it wants . Uruvi could have got the greatest archer of all time but wants the archer who intrigues her, one who is yet to pierce her soul but has come teasingly close.

Arjun the warrior who has people swooning over him women included but is friend zoned by the person who he feels attracted to.

Karna what can I say about the character a really tragic hero who could never get a break in life and maybe this is one beautiful break in the form of Uruvi.

Great post keep it coming

One of my all time favorite . I collect quotes the way people collect stamps , in a diary of mine. I've 5 diaries full of endless quotes that ranges from spiritual to slang ! I;m glad you liked it. 😳

Thank you so much . Humbled and honored.

I absolutely liked everything you wrote.

Thank you so much once again. 😳I royally suck at taking compliments gracefully. 😆

I've no problem with Arjun getting screen space , since Arjun is , no one can dispute , crucial part of Karn's life story . He can not be avoided or kept away and nor he should be. Arjun was , not the greatest , but surely one of the greatest Archer of all time , same as Karn and Bhishma.

But he should be shown with others and not with Uruvi , and specifically not when viewers are just getting introduced to our lead couples.
If at all they should be shown as strictly friends , with no romantic friction. Here they're making Arjun -Uruvi angle pretty obvious and the entire Pukeya was shipping Arjun-Uruvi , including Kunti. 😕 Makes me squirmy.
Uruvi didn't friendzone Arjun , she realized that they're better off as friends . That's how they're meant to be . I'm glad that she did , if she had led him on or some thing things would've been really messy once she fell for Karn , becoz Arjun is already hopeful as it is. Some one of his caliber and stature did not deserve the sense of betrayal that's inevitable the way the stone of fate is rolling

Would love to know what you think about the review of 1st episode as posted below. 😳

: Episode one - Meet Karn and Uruvi :

"All that is gold does not glitter
Not all those who wander are lost;"
- LOTR , Return of the King

: The birth - One is utmost coveted since birth, her very arrival being harbinger of celebrations across the kingdom, her parents proud and fawning upon her.
Another discarded as soon as he comes to Earth , his entire journey of life, his fate writ with hardship . An infant left to float away in a river . Uncertainty being his first welcome gift . One got blessing , another got doom.

The strange prophecy : Leads ka janam ho , aur prophecy na ho aisa kabhi ho sakta hai 😉 😆 ! So yes , there is one here too , one that is very interesting. Our destiny is not some thing set in stone , it is actually a mix of probabilities and choice and at the end of the day our choices make or break our lives.
Uruvi had two options offered by life, one that leads to a lifetime of certainty , luxury , security and all the jazz that royals used to enjoy, one that is literally carpeted with flowers , but as fate would have it , she'll opt out of the easy one and choose the man who's got blood dripping from his palm lines and walk the path of fire alongside him.
His parents , like all normal parents , anxious to ensure the happiness and prosperity of their daughter , promised to get her addicted to life's beautiful choice so that it makes her innately programmed to brush aside any hard choice, steer clear away from the doomed choice that life will one day unfailingly present in front of her.
But her parents were wrong in one major aspect. Happiness and prosperity are two different things . Heart can not be contained or tamed . It's like a compass will always point towards the perilous path and Karn , the ever enigmatic one , will embody that challenge that she seeks from life , the unique , the enigma, the human firefly that she will chase in the garden of life.

Disappointed that they didn't show even a glimpse of Karn's foster parents and siblings. But I'm glad that they took the sidhi baat no bakwas route and have him landed at the doorstep of Parshuram , where from he emerged as the strapping stallion, standing tall and brave , like a mountain against the odd , for the odds will be plenty in his life. He's like the rock between a rock and a hard place.

Karn's childhood efforts to learn Dhanurvidya and the rejection he faced was very painful to watch. Inspite of being a conservative Bramhin girl , it made me literally mad at the caste system's injustice.

As a result when Karn grew up, he's stoic , almost frozen . It's like he's hardened with hardship and struggles to an extent that he's built blocks around him , or brick walls to safe guard his gentler feelings , his softer emotions . His face betray nothing. To show emotions is to hand over ammo to the enemy who can then use it against him and humiliate or hurt him further. He speaks rarely , wears the mask of frigid don't-give-a-damn attitude all the time , without letting it slip, but his eyes betray his emotions. They're fraught with distress and guilt whenever his Guru calls him a Bramhin .
There was also this faint smirk and satisfaction to achieve his target when he struck the target and passed the tests. One step closer to achieving what he wants.
But mostly he's rigid like the shaft of an arrow and his eyes are like flints , hard with determination and concentration. Forged in the fire of societal discrimination and a growing ambition as strong as the growing realization that his life will not be easy.
It was painful how dejected and helpless he looked when his Guru Parshuram , who was so affectionate towards him, lashed out that famous curse . He simply looked tired , so tired of a life where he'll always have to face one hurdle after another.
Aashim was superlative when he was standing at the mountain top in the next scene , in isolation with an uninviting , foreboding sky flashing thunder from above , and his eyes filled with so much pain that it's completely heart breaking as he looked above to beseech divine justice .

Compare it with the scene where he was welcoming the rising Sun with open arms , did he look truly young , his masks slipped, warmly relaxed, enjoying himself, with a calm content smile adorning his noble face and suffusing his cells.

(His mountain climbing reminding me strongly of Mahendra Bahubali doing it as Shiva in Baahubali 1😉. )

Uruvi : She's quite a contemporary thinker , ahead of her time in her fair non judgemental nature. She's got an argumentive streak that is not irritating but endearing becoz of her gentle and calm way of putting her opinion across. Fond of the warm sunrays. Interesting.
She's grown up in utmost luxury and pampering and is the apple of the eyes to her family and friend's circle. A girl born and brought up in adoration and admiration for her beauty, skills and spunk. She's used to it. Confident that her eyes are capable of bewitching others. It'll be interesting to see her strive for Karn's affection for the first time in her life. Be unsure for once of the reciprocation of her feelings. To earn it by effort , rather than having it served in a platter.

It is also obvious that as a friend Arjun is very important in her life , and the inevitable change of equations and dynamics after her marriage with Karn will pain them both , may be for different reasons , but both surely.
I hope their friendship survives . It is a beautiful one . But the tender affection in Arjun's eyes when her hair was flying behind her as she's rapt in attention in the thick of the race and the gentle hope blooming there both when she chose him for her chariot rider and held his arms voluntary , after refusing to take it previously, makes me think otherwise. Uruvi can give up her life for Arjun but she can not share it with him .

I found her frustration at Arjun building a bridge for her uncalled for. I understand her hurt. But it was a natural friendly protective gesture , little to do with doubting her charioting skills. Not every thing has to be a game of one up manship.
Nice touch that Uruvi missed that it was Karn's arrow that broke the bridge . The way Arjun's face became cloudy with confusion and disbelief , it was so subtle that you won't notice it unless you're staring unblinkingly at his face.
Only when they were across the chasm, did he fully realize that another equally swift archer is nearby and we can see traces of anger.
The chariot race was random but very enjoyable as it the interwoven narrative between Karn's tests and Uruvi's competition gave a trailer of sort how they will compliment each other and how they'll balance out together finding a middle ground . The parallels were effective yet not too forced. It was pretty smooth.

There are quite a few very nice dialogs in the 1st episode itself . Whoever is handling the dialog dpt. deserves a pat in the back for the good job .
I found Duryadhan a pretty normal guy with just a bit of extra jerkiness towards Uruvi , but then none looked too fond of each other so it's just making ground for future angst with the whole Uruvi-Karn vs. Karn_Duryadhan angle.
Uruvi and Bhishma back and forth exchange was cute and funny . 😆 Makes me wonder at how many relationships will be fractured after she will choose and claim her mate.

Kunti nurtured a hopeful wish to make Uruvi her daughter in law , little did she knew when she was voicing out that wish fate was smiling a twisted smile and said , ok granted !
Right then her eldest son entered the 'stage' where in the next episode an event will unfold that will play crucial role in twisting the fate of each and every one , Karn, Arjun, Uruvi , Duryadhan and Kunti.

The first episode itself covered a lot of ground . I'm not complaining . It makes for an intense watching .
Your two bits ???

Gargi my dear,

I am very pleased that you will be doing the episodes analyses, even if in brief. This is the kind of show for which I would have liked to do them, but I can no longer cope with that load, not only the post - where I simply do not know how to be brief ! - but also the responses to comments. You will do them far better than I could have done, and I shall have the easier task of commenting on your posts!

I was mulling over how to handle this excellent diptych of yours, the intro plus Episode 1, and have now decided to comment on each separately. My comments are in blue italics.

I am doing this part now, and will post my comments on your take for Episode 1 tonight or tomorrow, by when you might well have put up your take on Episode 2!

This rare quotation is not just beautiful, but deeply and tragically philosophical. The relationship between the Greeks and their Gods was unique, compounded of awe, fear and familiarity alike, for their Gods, bar the blessing (or curse) of immortality, shared the virtues and the vices of mortals.

Don't fish, kid! 😉No one can fault you for any lack under the heads of eloquence of expression, fliuidity in words, or observation. You have all these, and then you have the most important thing of all: passion. You remind me often of a wilful, unpredictable Arabian filly, racing breathlessly towards a distant goal.

I have been too often disappointed by shows that are oh so promising to begin with, but then sink into mediocrity or worse, to rejoice so soon, but I am modestly hopeful.

You have included Bhishma under two heads! He really belongs with the second lot. I personally don't need to see more of Dusshasana, Gandhari, or even Karna's parents. The conflict between him and them is already over and done with. His mother reminds me of Leela Misra, the eternal aunt in old Hindi films. His foster brother is plain irritating.

Now here, I am going to choose prudence over candour. After all, I was trained to be a diplomat all my working life, and such deeply ingrained habits die hard😉. Besides, I don't want to upset you. So I shall merely say that it is a great pity the makers didn 't try to get the ultimate Karna, who is wasting his talent playing Vikramaditya.

Yes. This is the first time I am seeing him, and he fits the bill perfectly. Carelessly confident in his superiority over all others, a tad arrogant, but not the kind to wantonly hurt anyone. He reminds me of the kind of rich kid who would rev up a 16 cylinder Lamborghini at 10 pm in a quiet street, and rejoice in the roar of the motor.

You have quite spread yourself on the young lady, so I have not much to add. But she is better when she is doing vigorous arguing, as with Bhishma, or attempting an edgy hostility, as in the post hamaam sequence with Karna, than in the plain emotional parts. When Arjun asks her if she thinks he is not the sarvashreshta, she looks blank. She should have said something to reassure him.

Because the audience will not accept anything else. She was not too grey as Satyavati in the Mahabharata either. But her get up is all wrong. Being a widow, she should have been in white, with minimal or no jewellery. As it is,she looks like a Christmas tree on December 24 evening.

But I do not agree with all the Kunti bashing here. Of that more later, perhaps. I liked her scene with Arjun a lot.

She looked stunning as maiden Kunti . You can expect her to pop out as gorgeous babies as her sons Karn-Arjun are !

She looked exactly the same as she does 25 years later. Odd!

Pace of the story is great for now , almost breathlessly so. You can't risk missing a scene , or you might miss some important dialogs or nuance . Script is compact like Oxford pocket dictionary. More importantly, it has twists and turns and is pleasingly unpredictable within a predictable set up.

Background score : Some of them are really good , as the flute tune that plays during Uruvi's banter with Jaya Vijaya or the one plays on Uruvi-Arjun, the lyric less tune that plays when Karn shoots arrows at special occasions , the sad tune when Kunti bid goodbye to an infant Karn , Uruvi introductory tune... so on.

The flute tune in the background might have been very good, but the same cannot be said of Jaya and Vijaya. They set my teeth on edge.😡 And they are ubiquitous, the tiresome, giggly creatures!

Cut down on that makers , or else I'll have an ulcer pretty soon.🤢

Show Arjun as much as you want.

Who is this "we" ? You are assuming too much, my child, and there is no need to presume that everyone watching the show shares your prejudices and your obsession.😉

I don't, for one. Not that I am interested in an Arjun-Uruvi-Karna triangle, for triangles of all kinds bore me. But I fail to see why Arjun should be shunted off to the sidelines while your new found favourite struts across the stage. 😉

Coming to Arjun-Uruvi, what I fail to understand is how, in the society of those days (or even till most of the last century ) a high born girl like Uruvi is allowed to wander at will all over the countryside with Arjun. He is not related to her, and this sort of gallivanting would never have been allowed in those days. I don't buy all this mitrata spiel. No one would have accepted any of that. For one thing, her parents would have been worried that it would spoil her reputation, and that if the marriage with Arjun did not materialise, this open friendship would definitely harm her chances at the matrimonial stakes.

-: Kunti's portrayal 😕. More in the episode pointers.

-:The blood promise 🤢. More in the episode pointers.

-: Language 😲. Full of bumpy Urdu words "iradein", "dost" ."Tasveer" 😕 Which century is this again !

It is the pits.😡

-: Gravity defying jump of Uruvi's chariot across the large abyss. Suspension of disbelief failed 🤔. Divya horses the kya ????😆 Maybe they're disciples of Rajnikant ! 😃

Rajnikant would have done it with more elan. As things were, it was ludicrous.

This apart, the rest of the contestants must have jumped across the chasm exactly like Uruvi, for if not , how would so many of them have made it to the finishing line? So what was so special about her doing it?

As for the actual chariot driving, neither Uruvi nor Duryodhana looks at all natural or realistic. I felt sorry for the poor horses.

I understand exactly what you mean.

Yes, he's very nuanced in his portrayal of Karna. 👏 As I said earlier, he has a certain thehrav on his face which ties up with the whole characterisation of Karn & his voice modulation & expressive eyes are just the icing on the cake. 😳

Another actor , I'm pleasantly surprized how much I'm impressed with, is Kingshuk's Arjun , who's simply great I must say. 👏 I'm really happy ki sadak se koi chindi sa Arjun pakad ke nehi le aya .
🤣🤣

Kinshuk is really winning hearts. He is very well at portraying all the aspects of Arjun that are often whitewashed like his insecurity, jealousy, anger etc. Arjun is surprisingly a pleasure to watch because of this aspect i.e. he isn't unidimensional. There are layers to this Arjun which Kinshuk portrays effortlessly. 👏

It was expected from Tejasswi that she'll fit the bill perfectly as the feisty yet feminine Uruvi and she rose up to that expectation. I never had any doubts over her either. 😃

Yes, totally agree. She would have looked striking in a plain avatar too, they need not have bedecked her akin to a Christmas tree. 🤢

Yes, most of the bg scores are really good but the 'suto va sut' one didn't impress as much as the others or maybe it will take a bit getting used to since the 'suto va sut' bg score of ⭐️bharat is still stuck in my head as the best one. 😆

It is getting too much indeed. Seeing their growing emphasis on this triangle terrifies me to think what they are gonna do with that Draupadi angle from the book. 🤢 👎🏼 to any & all triangles and quadrangles.

"Sabr ki had" how difficult could "sabr ki sima" have been? 🤪

Yeah that was really OTT they could have avoided such rubbish. 👎🏼

In the novel too which the show is based on Arjuna, Kunti, Kauravas and Uruvi's family expected that Arjuna and Uruvi would wed.
Uruvi choosing Karna is like a biggest shock to them all.
Arjun feels the worst and the rivalry between them intensifies.

Here Arjun is in love with Uruvi and rejects attending the swayamvar for Bhanumathi, so you wonder how they would show him participating for Draupadi and the whole Subhadra angle.

The actors are very good looking and I love the portrayals of this Arjun as this carefree, noble, impulsiven, insecure arrogant Arjun, many shows don't portray that impulsive and insecure Arjuna.
Ashim 's voice and facial expressions are good, liking that very restrained , arrogant but vulnerable Karna, but he needs to work on his body language.
As this show is about Karna hope they explore the friendship between Duryodhan and Karna, and not show any gimmick like the blood vow.
Karna was highly intelligent, ambitious , arrogant, noble, sarcastic and it was a deep sense of gratitude that turned into friendship. Karna chose to be with Duryodhan, there was no force involved or oaths.

This is absolutely excellent analysis. I don't think I can add anything more to this! I must say, I agree with your irritation about the Arjun/Uruvi angle...it was adorable initially but now, it's becoming a chore to watch! I accept this show as fanfiction and well-executed fanfiction at that, but certain things should be sacred. There's absolutely no need for any kind of love triangle in this show!
Agreed also about your observation re. Kunti glorification...I'd really rather see Karna with his family. Can we have a single show which actually fills in the gap, instead of retelling the same old tale over and over again?

Finally, it's a genuinely entertaining show...I have not been bored once in the first week and that's the best thing a show can do...especially given the climate of Indian televison lately!

Regarding acting,

Kinshuk is simply charming as Arjun...I am not sure if he's quite the epic-mythical Arjun but he is doing a great job with his character in this! Tejaswi is charming and beautiful to watch! Even when she is angry, she doesn't come off as abrasive...I like that in her acting! Aashim...well...I have a slightly different opinion. I actually like Aashim from DSJZ and his Yeh Hai Aashiqui appearance (which you must watch if you want to know his strength as an actor)! I do feel he is having difficulty with this character..there are some moments where he has been really good...especially the surya namaskar scene...and in the scene last night where he tries to look at the jewel in the portrait...and some other scenes I am forgetting! But he is still a touch too stoic and stiff for now...I like his voice and expressive eyes...I also favor his mournful expression (I think it goes with this characterization of Karna) but the body language is unconvincing! But it's a very new show, a very difficult character so I believe we have to give him some time and hope for the best!

I have to say I love the characterization of Karna in this...It's easily my favorite form of Karna so far...I hope they don't whitewash or darkwash him further!

Btw a small and insignificant correction, that quote "Gods envy us" is from Troy, the film. Not from Homer's Iliad.

Wow!.. wonderful Analysis Gargi, your each post deserves a separate thread 😃 👏
Lovely quote at the start of each analysis.. Loved the positives you highlighted and agreed with those shortcomings.. In my short take for first week. I would say there were lot of things that i liked .. for example this Karn has lot of calm amidst chaos .. He looks interesting.. hiding lot of emotions inside.. in some scenes , he worked really well with his voice and dialogue delivery but yes he needs to improve a lot.. Uruvi is nice and cute.. chirpy girl.. she is gonna be the moral voice through out this show..voicing all wrongs.. Tejaswi is doing great job.. I liked this Arjun.. He is so far my favorite Arjun.. 😳
