PART - 24

A bright sunny morning and another boring Monday …..the beginning of a new boring working week

As usual gauri got up early … had a bath ….came out with her tangled wet hair … woohh ….. a scene that every man enjoys ..he he

Ok gauri got dressed up quickly ….. puts her eyeliner ,her contact lenses …..then her lip liner n some foundation ….n yes now she's ready to step out of the room

She quickly runs down the stairs for the puja …… n she couldn't believed her eyes ……it was shiv holding the aarti for gauri …..

She was as amazed as one has got some big lottery…..

She stood near shiv n muttered to him "wow ….so early?? Meri gift ka itna asar!!"

Shiv had his eyes closed but smiled to what gauri said.

Soon they all finished the puja n got seated for the breakfast while gauri, nisha and nikhila did the serving process to the men

"gauri beta tum bhi baith jaao ….tumhe bhi toh office jaana hai" said mahen

"nahi uncle ….aunty aur bhabhi ke saath kha loongi" replied gauri

"achaa beta ipshita aur sugna ji kab waapis aa rahe hain?" asked alok

"the 25 of this month ….means after another two weeks" she replied

"n I just forgot to tell you one thing ….." she added in a guilty way

"kyaa??" asked alok

"ke kaya ke exams khatam ho gaye n who bhi aa rahi hai ipshita ke saath" she said first slowly then excitedly

"achaa yeh toh badi achi baat hai" said samar

"hmm aaj toh suraj pata nahi kahan se uga hai" said nisha in a joking way

"kyun bhai?" asked samar

"arey aaj apne dekha nahi ke shiv kitni jaldi uthkar tayyar hokar puja me aaye" replied nisha

"haan bhai …..shiv aaj kya hua tujhe?" asked mahen

Shiv was looking down …..eating his breakfast quietly but after asking this question he raised his eyes to look gauri

Gauri was looking shiv with utter sweetness

"haan shiv aaj kya hua??" asked nikhila too

Shiv turned to her mom n said "nahi mom …kuch khaas nahi ….. just thought to change this habbit"

Gauri ate slowly thinking of shiv's situation …. And she was also happy …as this all was happening all because of her only…..

"achaa toh aur kaun-kaun si habbits ko theek karna hai" joked nisha

And everybody giggled

Shiv was getting red now ….he had almost finished his food …..to escape the situation he took a big bite of bread n said "finished…now to office" he said around his mouthful of bread

Everybody laughed again

Shiv stood up and asked gauri to leave for the office fast …while he was waiting for her in the car

She finished her breakfast soon n wore her sandals then ran to shiv

"sorry for so late"

"no problem ….. wear the seat belt fast …aaj bahut kaam hai office mein" said shiv

"hmm"

Shiv began driving fast …

"toh aaj tumhari wajah se mujhe kitna sunna pada" said shiv

"whatt …meri wajah se …..sunna pada ??!!..... haah …. Ek toh meri wajah se tum seedhe ho rahe ho n tum keh rahe ho ke…" gauri takes a pause

Shiv tried to interrupt gauri but couldn't

"aaj pata hai aunty kitni khush thi ….. ke unka beta subhah uthkar puja ke liye niche aaye aur time par breakfast karkar ….office ke darshan ke liye gaye.."she said smilingly

Shiv kept smiling to what gauri was talking …because for him ….gauri's talking with such an innocence was just like a sweet dream to live ….he never wanted to give up this dream in any cost …..because she was his relieve ….. his glory …..his peace …..his god …. In short his everything

"whattt …..main hi bolti jaa rahi hoon …tum bhi toh kuch bolo!!" asked gauri

Shiv came back to his senses "ahh….yeah ..achhaaa"

"kyaaa achaa ….jaldi chalao …..bahut kaam hai!!" she demanded

Shiv again smiled …but made a cute face and asked "tum hamesha aise hi sabse demand karti ho??"

"achaa tumhe yeh demand lagta hai toh yahi sahi…..yes it's my command" she said in a fake attitude ….laughed n gave shiv a nice pat on his head

Shiv felt overjoyed n in turn he also gave her a soft pat on her head

Both had a loud laugh n soon they reached their respective cabins …..

At gauri's cabin …gauri saw a huge bundle of files …while shiv watched through his window what she was doing

Gauri slowly moved towards her desk removed her bag from her shoulder ….sat n leaned back in her silver-grey leather desk chair …closed her eyes then in a fraction of minutes then again sat straight …. tangled her beautiful fingers into her hair and moved her hair back with them …. Then she began to clear up the files.

Shiv then turned back and sat in his office chair …he again began thinking about gauri ….how she came to his life ….the gift ….n the pat she gave on on his head so sweetly ….he adjusted his hair just to feel her pat gain ….

Just then "good morning sir ….may I come in"

Shiv got distracted from gauri "ahh good morning …. Mr. sharma …aapki diwali kaisi rahi??"

The man 'sharma' got amazed …shiv never considered anything more than work n now hez asking how his diwali was##??

"great sir…"

"so kya kaam tha??" asked shiv softly

"sir yeh …mittal industries ka mega project report hai …aap ek baari dekh lijiye fir meeting fix kar lenge next week….sir hume agar yeh project mil gaya toh 250 carores ka profit hoga"

"hmm great … I will just complete this today itself … and then will inform you ok"

"ok sir"

He started studying the file but then again gauri came in front of his eyes

"oh yaar yeh kya ho raha hai …shiv …agar aisa chalta raha toh saara kapoor business mitti me mil jaayega ……noo noo u have to concentrate shiv …. U have to !!" he muttered

He again started doin his work but still couldn't hold himself from thinking of gauri …so he rested his head on his table…. Just then "sir may I come in?"

Shiv could not forget this voice even for a second ….he quickly got up ….because it was gauri who was carrying a huge bundle of files and was about to lose her balance but shiv ran and caught her tight "I m ok shiv"

"ok …just give me a few of them" he said

"sir …I have finished all the files"

Shiv got shocked and said "please don't call me sir atleast ..when we are alone"

"but u only said ke ..u r sort of professional n u want all these systematic language to be used in ur office"

"yeah …I know …but not from u"

Gauri asked coldly "matlab??"

"matlab ….ke … u r my close friend naa…. Isliye .... I don't like it"

"hmm ok" she said rudely

"soo itni jaldi …saari files ho gaye??"

"yup … see I don't want to complement my self …. But actually m quite quick at that" she adds with such a great confidence

"ohh then please help me with this file too" said shiv in a convincing manner

Shiv sat on his chair and gauri on his opposite

gauri took the file and carefully concentrated on the file …she looked into file so deeply that seemed if no one could disturb her

shiv watched her …. As she was so dedicated to that file …. She kept her left hand to rest on her head n held a pen in her right hand …. At times she also bit her nails ….

And shiv who was doing nothing but glancing gauri kept smiling to himself

In a few while she finished the file … done

She looked up … n shiv was staring her like a dog … hehe

"roz ka kaam hai" she thought

She then looked at her watch "aww its already 4 ….i just hav to rush"

"where" shiv asked

"actually meri college friend ..who's here in Mumbai … so we'll go for some shopping"

"kab tak aaogi?" asked shiv promptly

"arey baba mujhe kya pata waise toh aa jaungi about in three hours…kyun?"

"nahi ….just take care ….and jaldi ghar aa jana"\

"ok" she stood up and began to leave

"arey just take my car" said shiv

"nahi …its ok … I will manage"

"ok but do take care n jaldi aajana ok!"

"ok ji ….. I will be back by 7….. byee"
