Part 26

Shiv …who was standing at the gate …..was getting restless ….he started wandering around the gate ….hoping that gauri would come ….

Mahen asked nikhila about shiv but even she didn't had any idea of what shiv was upto. Soon she finished her food n went to look for shiv…..finally after searching the whole house….she went out

"arey shiv, yahan kya kar raha hai??" she asked

"Mom I got to go …I think gauri is in some trouble" he replied in a very tensed tone n prepared to get into the car

"but beta….."

"no mom….plzz don't stop me" interrupting nikhila…. he drove straight out of the gate…. to look for gauri

"yeh ladka bhi …..puri baat suntaa nahi …." she thought ….

Just a few minutes later, gauri came in an auto …she came running to nikhila and asked for shiv ….as she had brought him a gift…. She was soo happy that this time she had bought the best gift for shiv ….n that shiv will like it very much… but nikhila told her that shiv was tensed n he went just now …to look for her …

Nikhila phoned shiv n informed him that gauri is back home …..shiv who was in tension …took a deep sigh n reversed his car to return back home

At home … everyone was happy as gauri … was explaining …about what they did in the mall …. She was so happy …describing the meeting with her old friend ….seeing her everyone had big smiles on their faces

Just then, they heard shiv's car n gauri ran towards his car to give him the gift,which she had bought with so much love

Shiv was entering the hall……. where they both banged into one-other n the gift fell down

Everyone noticed this n they had a mischievous smile on their lips

"ohh m sorry" she said to shiv

"yeahhh …. U should be" shiv replied so rudely

He was so rude that gauri was forced to forget about the gift…..he was so rude that anyone could get angry

"whatt" she asked in a very emotional tone…..like she was just about to cry

"yeahh …. Are we mad …. I mean … tumne bola tha ke u would be back by seven n its nine-thirty now" without giving a chance to gauri to speak ….he continued his anger "jab phone diya hai toh uska utilize toh karo …. Ur phone was switched off"

"but ..shiv" she interrupted ..but it was no use …shiv's voice was very high which made tears to fall from her eyes

"but whatt??? …. Tumhe toh kisi ki chinta nahi ….. hume kya pagal samajh rakaha hai….hum yahan tumhari itni chinta kar rahe the"

"but …I …" she again tried to justify herslf …..her eyes were filled with tears

"oh …just shut up … tum sabko apni tarah mat samjho …tumhe kisi ki chinta nahi toh …. Iska matlab yeh nai ki sab aise hi honge …… koi tumhare liye itni chinta kare …toh tumhe usse kya….hai naa!!!!" he was getting louder and louder which made gauri to cry …..n ran towards the room

Shiv also went to his room in anger

Everyone who was a witness to this incident …got tensed

Alok went to comfort gauri but nikhila stopped him n instead she went behind her

"oh just shut up" ….still that scene of shiv was coming in her mind … n she got more and more angry on him

"I just hate him …..main kitni galat thi uske baare mein …. I even bought a nice gift for him …. N he …… I just hate him …he's …@#$#@" muttering this she cried more but those sweet memories of shiv n hers was also coming in front of her eyes n she started weeping more …. the doors were closed …. Nikhila tried to console her …. Well it took some time but gauri finally opened the door for her …

Gauri had still big tears in her eyes …. N she was still in a bad mood …

Nikhila had the gift in her hand ….which gauri had bought for shiv …..she kept it on the table and made gauri sit on the bed ….. she was still weeping

"now – now …gauri ….please calm down ……" she hugged gauri tightly which made gauri feel a little relieved

"I am really sorry" gauri looked at nikhila n immediately replied in that crying tone "no aunty , aap kyun sorry bol rahe ho ….. its not your fault …."

"nahi beta ….meri hi galati hai ….main shiv ko pehle hi bata deti tumhare baare mein toh ..usse itna gussa naa aata"

Listening shiv's name … gauri felt a dual feeling, one side she was feeling really frustrated …but on the other side … she had a soft corner for him … and she didn't wanted to hate him.

"nahi aunty …."

"beta shiv itna bura nahi hai …. Usse gussa bhi bahut kum aata hain….i know shiv very well ….usse gussa sirf unpar aata hai jinke woh sabse kareeb hain … beta tum uski baatein yun … dil par mat lo …main use samjhaungi …."

"aunty …. M fine …"

"I m again sorry beta"

"no …aunty u are embarrassing me ….please aap sorry mat boliye" "….sorry toh kisi aur ko bolna chahiye" she murmured

Nikhila wiped gauri's tears and gave a kiss on her forehead …..in response gauri hugged nikhila

"chalo main chalti hoon aur shiv ko khana deti hoon ….." gauri watched her surprisingly "shiv ne tumhare chakkar mein khana nahi khaya , u just go to sleep … n don't cry … main shiv ko samjhaungi …. Good night"

Gauri thought …shiv was so tensed for her that he even didn't had his dinner …. She looked at the gift …that she had purchased for shiv …. But then got angry on how he scolded her …. "idiot" she blubbered n went to sleep ….. covering her head with the blanket

On the other, shiv was tensed ….recollecting that incident ….. gauri's teary eyes were coming in front of him …. Making him sad and disturbed ...he was thinking that how could he made his angel sad .... how could he made his angel cry!!

Just then , nisha entered with his dinner "shiv …. R u ok??"

"yeah … I m .."

Nikhila came n signalled nisha to leave the dinner n go

Nikhila sat next to shiv n realised how shiv was upset …. He was lost in his world…

"its ur fault" she said

Shiv came back to his senses n tried to defend himself "but mom … uska phone bhi off tha n usne bataya bhi nahi…." Nikhila interrupted him "no ….u r wrong …. Kya tune humse pucha …..gauri ne hume do baar phone kiya tha …. Just to tell ke she's on her way …… n jahan tak phone ki baat hai toh uska phone ki battery nahi thi …..tumne use bewajah daant diya …. U have to tell her sorry"

Shiv looked at her "yes …. Jis tarah tumne sabke saamne use itna sunaya tha …usi tarah usse sorry bolna padega"

"mom …. U just don't worry … I will manage that"

"acha toh fir khana kha le" she tore out a piece of chapatti …n fed shiv

"maa….u r so nice" he said cutely

"hmm woh toh main hoon ….acha shiv waise tune gauri ke saath bahut galat kiya…woh tere liye itne pyar se gift laayi thi n tune …use itna gussa dikhaya … n waise bhi …u don't have any right on her ….. she's our guest"

Shiv making a guilty face

"u know what …she was weeping so much"

"aap usse mili thi kya??" shiv asked

"haan… abhi chup kara kar aai hoon…. Bahut ro rahi thi"

Shiv got sad "mom ..did she had her dinner??"

"haan raaste mein kar liya tha….. acha kiya ..warne teri wajah se woh khana bhi nahi khati"

Soon shiv finished his food n went to gauri's room ….where she was in a deep sleep

While sleeping too ….. she was looking so sooo beautiful …. Looking so sweet n soo sober …

Shiv went near her n smiled at her innocence … her closed eyes were looking so beautiful n that little smile on her lips …. Made shiv crazy …. N made him feel to say her a sorry

He sat on the bed …next to where she was sleeping … he constantly looked at her ……n gradually lifted her hand

He started talking to her " m so sorry gauri" "I don't know …what happened ….i mean …how did I became so hyper on you …" he looked at gauri …. She was still in deep sleep "main kabhi sapne mein bhi nahi soch sakta ….tumhe daantna ya tumpar gussa karna ….n patanahi …mujhe achanak se kya hua…" agar tum mujhe naraaz rahogi toh main usi guilt mein jee nahi paunga …. Tum patanahi kyun …. Mere liye ab bahut kuch ho ….isliye plzz mujhse gussa mat hona .. plzz gauri… warna main…" gauri slightly moved her hand ….. shiv instantly stood up and went from there

Gauri slowly opened her eyes n saw no one there …then she smiled " I know shiv …u r feeling guilty …..well u should be …. U r not that bad shiv …u r really nice..jaisa maine socha tha …." she again smiled and then went to sleep
