'Aazmaaliya'/ 'I’ve Encountered'(poetry)

Hey all... I don't really know why, but wrote these lines... I think they kinda fit with Shiv and Gauri's helplessness against the fast trickling sand of time.

"Azmaaliya"

Azmaaliya humne hawaon ko...

Fizaon ko rukh badalna para.

Azmaaliya humne sagar ko…

Lehron ko thamna para.

Azmaliya humne aag ke zeher ko…

Angaaron ko bhi mitna para.

Azmaaliya humne tum ko…

Khud ko hi bhoolana para.

Azmaaliya humne zindagi ko…

Aakhir maut ke aage, jhukna hi para.

I've Encountered (Translation)

I've encountered the winds...

The airs had to turn their direction.

I've encountered the ocean...

The waves had to settle.

I've encountered the furry of fire...

The embers had whither.

I've encountered you...

I had to forget myself.

I've encountered life...

Ultimately, I had to kneel before death.

👏 dc the english translation helps a lot. wonderful girl. summerizes gauri's feelings and remembers me of the last scence when she is shown on the sky. 😳

Aakhir maut ke aage, jhukna hi para (and thi is her now, i read the update yesterday and felt her life had turned out to b a total waste)

u Caught the nerve there, I loved it coz it was such a nicly written verse and hated it coz it was Gauri's situation, hoping it was sowewhat different.

But i love u all the same.keep writing, u r smashing.

That was really nice Neetu, lovely words ... as the word aazmaaliya... sounds.. oh so .. perfect!!! . Par I could relate to it only in parts....

Correct me if I am wrong here babe, but dosent it have an inherent , subtle anger one had against the the world , in general and a feeling of having lost at the end to death... I mean... the triumph of having won in the end, against life and in face of imminet death... was something I didnt see... please dont get me wrong hun.. I am jus trying to understand your verse.... 😊
