Continuation: Part 6:

Walking back towards his room, Shiv recollects his conversation with Alok Ji, and his eyes get moist instantly... but this time wiping his tears off, he walks slowly to his room....and notices... his room has been cleaned , although the marks of the mishap are apparent....

Gauri still dressed in her birthday saree..... standing at the extreme end of the room facing the portrait of the girl, dosent realize, his presence, as she runs her hand on the frame.....Shiv noticing her, jus stops and watches her...... while she unaware of his presence , continues to stare at the portrait....as though having a private conversation with the girl in thr portrait....

A searing pain, tears through his body as he watches her staring at the picture..... like she was seeking answers from the girl in the portrait..... the girl, who held a place in his heart, to whom he poured out his heart to.....it was a strange pain burning through him... watching the woman, who believed him , beyond all, standing there.... so calm, so silent, her eyes devoid of any emotion, except for a strange emptiness.....He felt so helpless.... yet a strange urge burned through him to hold her and tell her... it was gonna be okay, only he knew that it would never be, for he had with his own hands ruined it all... for a woman who believed him to be her world.... a sense of unworthiness... coming over, overwhelming... he felt claustrophobic... as he stumbled to hold the table next to the door, knocking a book off the pile, when she jerked ,a lil startled, not looking back, but slowly.. bringing down her hand from the painting.... standing still..... before she turned around to see him....the same emptiness in her eyes... but yet he sensed a strange feeling... that he knew he understood , so clearly, for the first time, since they have been together.....

Struggling with himself, he quickly tries to regain his lost composure, when he notices her standing there , watching him, not stirring a bit... as she slowly glances at his night suit on the bed... and slowly turns away towards the window.... leaning against the pane... not uttering a word all the while....

Shiv, noticing her gesture, jus stares at the night suit, running his hand over his face and then through his hair, a expression of a mixed emotions, of surprise, calm, and of shame... as he slowly takes his clothes and heads towards the changing room....

Having freshned up, he retunrs to see her , noticing she hasnt moved since, he left the room...

Walking slowly over to her.... he finally brings himself to say..."Gauri......" , when this time, she moves her hand over window sill slightly , acknowledging him, his voice....

SHiv noticing this, walks over , and stands next to her...." Gauri......", turning towards her slightly...and noticing her silence, continues.."Baba kal kolkata jaa rahe hai.....", when he notices her , closing her eyes, the pain evident on her face.... "Wo chaahte hai , tum bhi unke saath jao....".....he continues..."Gauri........."

Her silence , tearing through him, he desperately looks at her... searching for something, not knowing what... when .. suddenly....."Aap.....". and he jerks around facing her... looking at her... as she continues to stare out of the window...." kya chaahte hain.....".......as he looks perplexed... suddenly at a loss of words, unable to get himself to say, he wished the same too, for her own good.....and a lone tear escapes his eye, as he tries to comprehend what she had jus asked him.....

Thank you everyone for reading the FF , and enjoying it and relating to it. This is my first attempt ever and owing to my short span of concentration, I have attempt a mini FF, based on jus the scenes of SHiv and Gauri after the revealation.... 😊
