Continuation : Part 14:

Back at the kitchen, Gauri is preparing the dinner plate ... as Dheenu kaka helps her as well..... "Bitiya... tu theek tho hai na....?"... "Ji ....."...... as she is about to finish and leave.... Dheenu kaka... stops... her..."Bitiya..... tumhaare baba ki umar ka hoon..... tujhse kuch kehna tha beta....." pausing .... as she smiles... walking towards.... him..."Ji...."....."Bitiya, acche logon ke saath, hamesha accha hota hai beta... main... Shiv ko bachpan se jaanta hoon.....wo dil ka bahut ....accha hai..." he finishes, with a heavy voice....when she replies..."Ji Kaka.... wo bahut acche.. hai... .." she smiles... "aur aap bhi..." she adds....as he raises his hands to bless her...."khush raho bitiya.... jug jug jiyo....." an earnest expression on his face.....his eyes moist.....turns around... walking back his body weighed down by age trembling.....

Walking out....Gauri...sees Nikhila at the kitchen door... when she stops.... looking at her... her face expressionless... Nikhila... teary eyed... "Beta...main..."....as Gauri dosent stir , as Nikhila continues.."Mujhe baat karni hai beta... dekh main tera bura kabhi nahin chaahoongi...."....when suddenly feeling the weight of the plate in her hands... cuts in..."Badi Ma....." .... as Nikhila looks surprised.... and looks at Gauri.... wondering what she had to say...."Maine aap ko apni Maa maana hai..... aapne jo kiya.... aapse behter koi nahin jaanta ki wo sahi hai ya galat..... , mujhe bas itna pata hai... ki Shiv meri zindagi hai... aur yahin meri zindagi ka sach hai....." ....."Aapke baare mein jo jaana.... taqleef zaroor hui... par meri taqleef se , Shiv ko taqleef hoti hai badi ma.... aur mein unhe koi taqleef pahunchaana nahi chaahti....."...

"Badi ma.... Shiv ke liye .. khaaana....."...looking at the plate in her hand.... and looking up at Nikhila... nods and walks away .... as a teary eyed Nikhila... looks on... thinking."Ab main tujhe kaise samjhaaoon.... teri ye acchai... ka saamna kaise karoon... mere bacche...."... tears flowing endlessly......watching Gauri walk up the stairs towards her room......the thoughts of what happned at the party replaying in her mind ... as she too slowly makes way to her room.....

gauri is tooooo nice and so naive! well-written sweety 👏 plz continue sooooooooon!

Continuation: Part 15:

Walking into their room, Gauri notices..... Shiv lying on the bed.... his magazine.. lying loose his hands.... his eyes closed... apparently having dozed off... when looks at him, smiling to her self... with a look of " I knew it... bhook bardaasht nahin kar paate...."....walking slowly...towards him.. placing the plate noiselessly on the bed table... and kneeling down... slowly , hestitaing a bit, places her hand on his arm... when he stirs a little... as she nudges him on his arm... whispering..."suniye......"...."uthiye..."....as he stirs slowly, but not really awake... when she slowly takes the magazine from his hand and folding it places on the table... and pats his arm again.......a lil firmly... "Uthiye.... "... when he suddenly jerks his eyes open....looking tired and lost... when she slowly says..."khaana khaa lijiye...."... and he still tired.... gets himself to a sitting position , when she hands him his plate... and placing the glass of water on the table... slowly gets up and turns around... as he starts digging into his dinner...

Walking over to the corner, she pulls her mattress and begins to make her bed... in the usual corner... when ... he calls out...."Gauri....."... turning around immediately... "Ji....." ...

Suddenly not knowing how to start...fumbles .. a little , before he blurts... "Wooo.. aaaj.... umm.. tum.. yahaan bed pe so jao....main....."...

She smiles back understandingly.... "Ji ..Koi baat nahin... main theek hoon... aap khaana khaa lijiye...", noticing that he had placed his plate back on the table... not eating....

"Nahin.. " he blurts out..." tum aaj bed par soogi...." looking at her perplexed expression....understanding her confusion..."awright... main bhi .....bed pe soonga... so... please... " and realizing he had raised his voice... calms down... "sorry... wo... tum ...... uh.. bed pe...."...as she looks calm.. and slowly turning around.. starts folding the matteress.. and he noticing her do so, happily gets back to his dinner... as she having done with folding the mattress... gets up and makes her way to the other side of the bed... and noticing the necklace.. on the table... picks it up and replaces it back in it places on the dressing table... not before looking at it fondly... running her fingers over it... unaware of shiv watching her , afaint smile spreading on his lips....

Thank you sooooooo much Hinal! And sorry for the late reply.... I was only trying to put up the next parts sooner since I intended to finish this over the weekend ... uh.. the mini FF says it all.. eh! 😊 I am hope you enjoyed the other parts of the FF... as much as the first one...

I am sorry I couldnt reply to each one of you... as I was trying to update the parts sooner, since this was a weekend Mini FF and I wanted to end it well, on Sunday.. 😊 .... Owing to my short spans of concentration... writing at one long go... becomes rather tiring and taxing.....I'd rather prefer it be spontaneous and shorter parts.... but I am really glad , all of you have soooo patient with me and kind .... 😊
