PART 7:

She was gifted with the talent to paint...she painted day in and day out…Ekta mai, Gopal n Shiv proved to be her biggest support system….but she deserved every bit of it…her paintings were a dream…..the colours she used gelled perfectly with the concept of the painting…

"Hey Gauri, We can arrange for an exhibition of your paintings? I mean your painting needs a platform and an art and painting exhibition would be the perfect booster to start off with!" said Shiv, one day while they all were having dinner.

"What? No Shiv…I mean...my paintings...I mean…"

"I think Shiv it's a brilliant idea! I can arrange for the place for the exhibition…and ya we all can distribute pamphlets or brochures about the same…after all…I can take some advantage of the clients who come to know their future!" said Mai.

"Di …but... I mean the paintings are not that good!"

"Says who??? My child they are masterstokes!!! Just brilliant…and I believe the world needs to be aware of the same! Sab uski maya hai !" Continued mai…

"Gauri…you have got a very good opportunity to showcase your talent…don't let go of it…let go your fears…not your talent!" these words from Shiv were enough for Gauri…

Everything had been taken care of…the exhibition was approved by the sponsors, pamphlets were distributed…Gauri was unbearably excited…finally she got a platform where she could showcase her dream…the exhibition was scheduled to be held on a Saturday…

That morning…Shiv just went to the exhibition hall to check if things were alright…

On his way back…there was a huge crowd gathered in a showroom right opposite the exhibition hall,

"What's the matter?" inquired Shiv…

"Arre…aap ko nahi pata kya…andar SRK ki film ki shooting chal rahi hai…..!"

Shiv saw SRK…suddenly something struck him…he went inside ….he managed to barge next to SRK…

"What's the matter? Security….how come this man reach here?" An angry SRK yelled at the security….

"Sir, please Sirji…please listen to me…!" The guards came to shoo away Shiv…par Shiv toh Shiv hai na…

"Sirji….my wife ,meri Gauri…she's ur biggest fan..I mean she's just crazy for you…you know she starting her dream today..I mean today's her painting exhibition that's just right opposite this showroom…I'd really appreciate it if you'd grace the occasion!"

"Well speak to my manager about all these stuffs!"

"Alright sir…thanks!"

SRKs manager bursted laughing…afterall who was Shiv Kapoor? "Mr Kapoor, pura India SRK ka deewana hai…that does'nt mean that he'll entertain everyone's request? But I must say ur really gutsy…anyways even if he agreed to grace the occasion…u would not be able to afford him?"

"how much?"

"hhh??"

"I asked how much does he charge?"

"1 crore…..now please leave!"

1 crore…Shiv could never afford that...Dissappointed he was leaving…when the manager said, "pata nahi kaha kaha se chale aate hai!"

Shiv wanted everthing perfect for Gauris big day….n SRK was her lucky mascot…anyways…he turned back...to see Srk having a glimpse of him…

PART 8:

Anyways that evening….

The exhibition was scheduled to start at 8 pm…however Shiv, Gauri, n the whole family reached there before 6.30pm…they were checking the arrangements…they were amazed at Gauri's painting skills…Ipshy just hugged Gauri,"yaar I'm so happy for you!"

Alok babu…tears rolled down his eyes…"baba what happened….?"

"I'm sorry Gauri…. I never encouraged you for the talent you have…I'm really sorry!"

"Oh come on baba…it's alright!"

"Shiv,beta I'll always be grateful to you for this…thanks!"

"nahi baba…she deserves this…n please don't make me ashamed by thanking me!"

Kaya for the first time could see the goodness in Shiv.

At around 7 pm…someone entered…"Excuse me…but is this Shiv ki Gauri's painting exhibition!"

All turned around to see who it was!!!!

It was none other than SRK!!!! All present at the hall froze….Gauri….she couldn't believe it!!! Ekta mai…she screamed,"oh my God…this is SRK …Gauri hamari tapasya safal hui!"

SRK found Ekta mai very weird…but then who doesn't find her weird…

"Hi Gauri, I'm SRK. I met your husband, Mr Shiv Kapoor this morning…I was shooting just opposite this hall you see, he requested me to come to your exhibition…n I just couldn't say no…your husband really loves you..i must say! Anyways I wish you all the very best for all your future ventures! I'm really sorry as I must leave…I have a flight to catch…have got to go to Los Angeles…. to begin shooting for 'My name is Khan" with Kajal…."

"We all r waiting for the film, SRK! Thanks so much….I love you SRK!" said Gauri.

SRK smiled, he congratulated Gauri on her venture and excused himself…"Sir!" Shiv called out to SRK as he was leaving.

"Ya Shiv, tell me!"

"Thank you so much!"

"Well I just couldn't say no…I could see how much you love your wife…n trust me I would have felt guilty my whole life if I wouldn't have come!"

"Thanks so much Sir, but… I can't afford 1 crore rupees...I have never seen that much money my whole life!"

SRK bursted laughing,"Shiv, in life not everything is done for money…your love for your wife touched me and that's why I'm here! Anyways…your wife is Gauri…mine is Gauri too…aur jab Gauri naaraz ho jaati hai toh…"

"toh qayamat aa jati hai sir!" exclaimed Shiv…n the two started laughing…SRK left…

As Shiv turned behind, he saw Ekta Mai looking at him with tears in her eyes," di ,kya hua?"

"Why don't you just confess your love for Gauri? I know from the look in her eyes that she loves you too….!"

"You think so…di!"

"100%!"

"Alright, let the exhibition get over…..I'll tell her…!"

He hugged his di….he was very happy…

Everyone were impressed by Gauri's skill and talent and congratulated her….she never expected any of the paintings to be sold…but was pleasantly surprised when she got to know that all her painting have been sold…

"Who's purchased them?" inquired Shiv-Gauri.

"That gentleman…he's waiting there in the lobby!" informed the manager.

As they proceeded towards the lobby, they could see a gentleman, "excuse me Sir!" said Shiv.

The gentleman turned…Gauri froze…Shiv was stunned…the gentleman was Prateek…

"Prateek!" exclaimed Gauri.
