Hey guys...sorry for late...clz really keeps me busy aur though i didn't write it but isse post karne main v mujhe almosst 2 hour lagte hain...and worst part is that i don.t get that much time also...😭 . Anyway now let's move on to the story.And plz READ TILL THE END...😆
CHAPTER - 5
Nandini's pov:
"I Love You Too.."
I whispered against his lips and didn't realised when my body gave up and i fell into a deep slumber. I hope this wasn't a dream, because if this was i didn't want to wake up.
I woke up with a slight headache and found the room empty. There was no glass pieces, no blood, no broken things and most importantly no Manik. Was last night a dream? I tried to get up, but as i kept my foot on the floor...I could feel a burning sensation. I looked at my foot and it was bandaged. That means last night wasn't a dream. Yayyie.... I jumped on the floor unconsciously and whimpered in pain. Just then the door burst open and Rishabh came running.
Rishabh: "What happened, Nandu?"
Me: "Nothing. Just my feet is paining."
I said, again sitting on the bed.
Rishabh: "Umm.. Yeah that. You were screaming, so i came and found that your feet was badly hurt...So i made you sit on the bed and bandaged your feet. Is it paining much?"
He asked. I felt dizzy. It was a dream. A dream. Tears weld in my eyes but i know it was my fate. I want to again slip in that dream. It was far more beautiful than the reality.
Rishabh: "Nandu what happened? Get ready, we are late for school."
Rishabh said and shook my shoulder.
Me: "I am not coming to school today. My feet is not okay."
I whispered and again slipped into the covers.
Rishabh: "No, Nandu. You have to come to school today."
Rishabh almost shouted on me.
Me: "Rishabh, don't shout. Am not coming."
I said and closed my eyes.
Rishabh: "Nandu, please...Dekh main pehli baar tujhse kuch maang raha hoon. Please chal na school. I promise it will worth it."
He said in almost a begging tone making a puppy dog face.
Me: "Urghh.. Rishabh, What the hell is your problem? How will i walk?"
I said and sat on the bed.
Rishabh:"You will get your personal man who will walk you today."
He said in an almost inaudible tone but i heard it.
Me: "What?" I asked.
Rishabh: "Err.. nothing. Oh, Nandu i am sure you can walk and if you will have any problem then I'll carry you, okay?"
He said and tried lifting me.
Me: "No! Its okay. My feet is not that badly sore. I can walk."
I said as the image of Rishabh carrying me down the whole school flashed in front of me.

We were standing at the door of the school waiting for Navya. As i glanced around, i found that the students were passing me excited glance. Even, the behaviour of my friends was weird. They were smiling ear to ear unnecessarily. God, whats wrong with everyone? Just then Navya arrived and hugged me tightly.
Navya: "God! Nandini i am so happy for you."
She squealed like a young kid.
Me: "What do you mean?" I asked confused.
Rishabh:"She is talking about the Dhruv fiasco. Its solved na."
Rishabh spoke. No doubt they were turning mad. As i entered the school, my feet suddenly pained and i let out a whimper. Just then i felt someone lifting me. I glanced and found Manik lifting me up with a stupid grin. What's wrong with this guy? I can almost hear everyone squealing and cheering. I think that the whole school is turning mad.😕
Me: "Manik, put me down."
I shouted slapping his chest. I was still not over the fact that last night was a dream and as soon as i saw Manik all my anger and irritation came back.
Manik: "No way, your feet is sore Nandu."
He stretched the word Nandu and winked at me. And again a bunch of stupid girls awwedd and ohhed behind me. He started walking and i was almost feeling deaf with the squeals. As we walked past the boys, they came and patted Manik's shoulder whispering something in his ears. Some even said best of luck to me. I was very confused.
Manik: "Manik, is there an exam today?"
I asked...🤓 He laughed. Oh boy! Don't laugh like that. Dil me kuch kuch hota hai.
Manik: "Yeah kinda."
He said and gave me a lopsided smile which almost took my breathe away. Already his cologne and proximity was driving me crazy and now this. "But i have not prepared for it. God! I'll fail." I cried.
Manik: "No Nandu, No way you are going to fail. Trust me."
He said and i smiled in response. Oh! I wish last night wasn't a dream
Manik: "It wasn't a dream."
He whispered in my ear and i almost got a heart attack.
Me: "What?"
I shouted but he stopped suddenly. What's wrong? I glanced to find a bunch of students gathered around.
Me: "Last night wasn't a dream. Seriously? It happened. Then Rishabh.. Owhh Myyy Gawwdd! Manik." I started jumping in his arms like crazy.
Manik:"God! Nandu calm down." He said but i paid no heed. I continued jumping and he continued to calm me down.
Manik: "Nandu.. Nandu.. stop" He again said but i ignored it completely. When he saw that in no way i was going to stop he placed his lips on me. My eyes widened but in no time i started responding back.
Everyone was cheering but we paid no heed. We were drown in our own world of Love. We broke apart and i started blushing like crazy. He pecked my cheeks and whispered
Manik: "Calm down, baby...😉
Me: " Did. Manik. Malhotra. Just. Call. Me. Baby? "Ba...baby?...😲...😳"
I stuttered. My cheeks were red and my heart started running a marathon.
Manik: "Oh yeah. You are my girlfriend now."
He said it casually. I widened my eyes and my heart beat stopped for a moment. I turned crimson red and he quickly pecked my lips.
Me: "Manik.." i was about to say something when he shushed me down placing his finger on my lips.He pointed his finger to the ground and i realised that we were standing on a heart made of flowers.
He again pointed to the other side, i again turned to look at it and i almost felt as if i was dying.
There was a big board in which it was written "I Love You" I almost felt like i was dying. So much happiness. I turned to look at him and found that he was already looking at me with love. I quickly hugged him and gave a tight kiss in his cheeks. Jeez! I'll die. My heart was in my throat. He put me down and sat on his knees.
Me: "I Love You. Will you be my girlfriend?"
He said kissing my knuckles. "Say Yes. Say Yes." Everybody was shouting in chorus.
Me: "I love you too. Yes, i will be your girlfriend."
I said and he stood up placing his lips on mine. We broke apart and he rested his forehead on mine. Me:"Today is the best day of my life." I whispered.
Manik: "Mine too."
