Manik - Nandini... If you really want to get married, go ahead. I won't stop you. Waise bhi I m nobody to stop you.
Saying this Manik left the room.
As soon as Manik left, Nandini broke down into tears.
Shanti went to Nandini and consoled her.
Nandini - Buaji... Hum Kuch der akele rehna chahte hai...
Shanti - Theek hai Beta.
Shanti wanted to give some alone time to Nandini so she left the room.
Nandini stopped crying and got up.
She packed her clothes in a small bag .
Then she took out her mobile and dialled a number.
Nandini - Aap ready ho na?
Lady- Ji Madamji...
Nandini - Aapko sab kuch theek se yaad hai na Jo hum logon ne plan kiya hai.
Lady- Ji sab yaad hai. Par Madamji Kuch galti to nahi hogi na. Mera Matlab Agar Soha Madam ko pata chalega to wo mere pati aur Bachche ko maar degi.
Nandini - Kuch galat nahi hoga. Mujhpe bharosa rakho. Bas tum wahi karo jo maine kaha hai. Aur rahi tumhare bachche ki baat, to mai wada karti hu ki use Kuch nahi hoga.
Lady- Ji.
Nandini - Theek hai. Tum jaldi se aajao yahan. Mai phone rakhti hoon.
Saying this Nandini disconnected the call and switched off her mobile and kept in on her bed.
The time for the marriage arrived.
Shanti came to take Nandini to the Mandap.
Shanti - Nandini tum theek to ho na?
Nandini faked a smile and said- Ji Buaji hum bilkul theek hai.
Shanti half-heartedly took Nandini with her.
The groom was already seated in the Mandap.
Nandini looked around to find Manik but he was not there.
Nyonika and Soha were discussing something.
Both of them were happy that finally Nandini will be gone from their lives forever.
Nandini to Shanti - Buaji wo Manik...
Shanti - Mai samajh sakti hu Nandini. Tum chahti ho ki Manik tumhari shadi attend kare. But wo nahi aayega Beta.
Nandini looked at Shanti with hopeful eyes.
Shanti - Theek hai mai koshish karti hu usey bulane ki. Tum yahan Mandap me baitho. Waise bhi mahurat ka time ho gaya hai.
Nandini was getting really nervous.
She had made such a huge and risky plan and she needed to be strong.
On the other hand she wanted to see Manik for the Last time.
Nandini sat beside the groom.
Nandini asked the groom in whisper - Kuch pata Chala Soha ne apke Bachche ko kaha chupaya hai?
Groom- Ji Madam. Unhone apni car ki
dikki me rakha hai mere Bachche ko. Please ap jaldi Kuch kijiye. Pata nahi kaisa hoga mera bachcha.
Nandini - Theek hai. Magar Hume ye natak jari rakhna hoga...
In the meantime -
Shanti went to Manik's room and saw him pacing to and fro.
Shanti - Manik. Tum kya kar rahe ho yahan . Chalo neeche.
Manik - Bua mujhe kahin nahi Jana. Aap please jayiye yaha se.
Shanti - Itna gussa... Tum to kehte the ki wo tumhari best friend hai. Phir kya hogaya Ab. Usne ek baar keh diya aur tumne maan li uski baat. Ye Kaisi Dosti hai?
Manik - But Bua aap ne suna na usne kya kaha. That I am nobody in her life.
Shanti - Beta ye tum bhi jante ho ke uska wo Matlab nahi tha.
Manik - Whatever...
Shanti - Waise Nandini ko hamari zarurat hai Beta is waqt. Hume Uske saath hona chahiye. To zid chodo aur Chalo mere sath. Kya pata fir kab milna ho usse.
Manik on hearing this felt an unexpected and sudden pain in his heart.
He had never imagined that one day Nandini would be gone from their lives forever. He didn't want that to happen but he had no choice as it was Nandini's decision.
Shanti - Ab tu sochte hi rahega ya chalega mere sath.
Manik - Chaliye...
Both of them went down to the Mandap.
Manik saw that Nandini was talking to the groom.
Nandini saw Manik and their eyes met.
Nandini selfthought - This is the last time I am seeing you. I will miss you Manik. I love you. I love you more than anything else in this whole world.
Nandini then looked at Aliya who just came and hugged Manik.
Manik faked a smile and greeted Aliya.
Nandini couldn't see this so she covered her face with her veil ( ghoonghat).
Tears started rolling down her eyes. But she wiped them as she had a task to finish.
The Pandit started chanting the mantras.
Then he asked the groom and bride to get up for the pheras.
As soon as both of them got up for the pheras the lights went off.
Phewww...
