Here I am with the update.
CHAPTER- 47
The Pandit started chanting the mantras.
Then he asked the groom and bride to get up for the pheras.
As soon as both of them got up for the pheras the lights went off.
Nyonika shouted on her servant.
Nyonika - Ramu ye light kyu chali gayi. Dekho jaake kya problem hai.
Ramu - Ji Madamji abhi dekhta hoon.
While all this chaos was happening, someone tapped on Nandini's shoulder.
Nandini turned to see the groom's wife dressed in bridal attire.
Due to the sacred fire lit in the Mandap(hawan kundh) Nandini could see her face clearly which was full of worry.
Nandini in whispers said- Sahi time pe aayi ho aap. Keys dijiye hume Soha ki car ke.
The lady gave Nandini the car keys which she got from Soha's room.
Nandini- Ab jaldi se meri jagah le lijiye. Mai aapke Bachche ko dekhti hoon. Chinta mat kijiye. Chahe Kuch bhi hojaye ghoonghat mat uthana.
Saying this Nandini took the opportunity of the darkness and left from there to save the kid .
Nandini felt that no one has seen her but she was wrong.
Manik saw Nandini rushing out of the house in the dark.
So he followed her to find out what she was upto.
By then the servant went and switched on the lights.
Nyonika and Soha looked towards the Mandap and found both the bride and groom standing there.
Nyonika to Pandit - Panditji aap phere shuru karwaiye warna mahurat nikal jayega.
Pandit - Ji .
And he started reciting the mantras.
The bride and groom finished the pheras and finally the rituals got over.
The Pandit declared them married.
Nyonika and Soha heaved a sigh of relief that finally Nandini would be gone.
The bride and groom took the blessings of the elders as directed by Nandini coz she didn't want anyone to develop any kind of doubt.
In the meantime,
Manik went out and started to search for Nandini.
Aliya followed him and said-
Manik tum yahan kya kar rahe ho?
Let's go inside.
Manik - Aliya I think I have seen Nandini here.
Aliya - What? How is this possible? Wo to andar hai na...
Manik - No. I am 100% sure I have seen Nandini rushing out of the house.
Aliya - Ok. Ok. Calm down. Let's just check it out once. Tum bahar jakar Dekho mai yahan dekhti hoon.
Manik - Ok.
And Manik went out to check.
Aliya went to the place where all the cars were parked and looked here and there for Nandini.
Aliya called out Nandini's name.
Nandini went towards Soha's car to save the kid but saw that Aliya was searching for her.
So she hid behind one of the car.
As Aaliya couldn't see Nandini there so she left.
Nandini very carefully opened the trunk of the car and found the caretaker's son whose hands and legs were tied.
The kid got scared to see Nandini as he thought she might harm him.
He started crying .
Nandini- Beta ro mat. Mai tumhe bachane aayi hu. Mummy ke paas jana hai na aapko?
The boy stopped crying on hearing this and nodded his head in a yes.
Nandini held the boys hand and was taking him with her when she spotted Aliya and Manik .
Nandini stopped midway and went to the servant's quarters.
One of their trusted old servant walked into the room and saw Nandini.
Servant- Arey Bahuji aap yaha ... Aap ko to maine abhi andar mandap me dekha tha phir aap yahan.
Nandini- Kaka ye sab baato ka time nahi hai. Aap is bachche ko apne sath rakhiye. Thodi der me iske maa baap usey le jayenge yaha se. Magar dhyan rahe ye baat kisiko pata nahi chalni chahiye.
Servant- Par Bitiya... Akhir baat kya hai. Mujhe to kuch samaj me nahi aaraha.
Nandini heard the knocking of the door and said- Kaka ab mujhe jana hoga. Wada kijiye ki ye baat bahar nahi jani chahiye ki mai yaha aayi thi.
Boy- Aap kaha jarahi ho didi?
Nandini absent mindedly said- Bahut dur...
Saying this Nandini kissed the boy's cheek and left.
The servant went and opeNed the door to see Manik and Aaliya standing there.
Manik- Kaka Aapne Nandini ko dekha hai kya yaha pe?
Servant- Nahi Chote Malik Wo to mandap me hongi ?
Manik was getting restless by now. He was damn sure that he had seen Nandini come out of the house.
Aaliya- Manik tum chalo mere sath. Wo tumhara sirf waham hoga. Nandini nahi hai yahan.
Manik - No Aaliya. I am damn sure wo Nandini hi thi.
Aaliya held Manik's hand and said- Lets go inside and check if Nandini is there or not.
Both of them were going out of the room when Manik looked at the kid.
Manik- Kaka ye kaun hai. Pehle to kabhi dekha nahi ise yahaan pe.
Servant- Beta wo ... wo mere dur ke rishtedar ka Beta hai.
Manik saw the lipstick mark on the kid's cheek and asked- Ye ... ye tumhare gal pe kya hai.
The kid rubbed his cheek and saw red colour on his hand .
Boy- Wo didi ke lipstick ka mark hoga.
Manik- Didi???? Kaun...
The servant tried to cover up and said- Manik Beta ye to kuch bhi bolta hai. Pata nahi kya laga kar aagaya kahi se .
Manik went near the kid and asked- Kaunsi Didi Beta. Yaha pe aur bhi koi tha kya mere aane se pehle?
Boy- Haan ek achi wali Didi thi . Bilkul dulhan lag rahi thi.
Manik got alerted. So did Aliya.
Manik turned to Aaliya and said- See i told you. It was Nandini.
Manik- Kaha gayi wo?
Boy- Pata nahi. Maine pucha bhi to unhone kaha bahut dur jarahi hai.
Manik immediately got up and asked the servant- Kaka aap jhut kyu b rahe the. Wo Nandini hi thi na? Kaha gayi wo?
Servant- Pata nahi Beta . Usne kuch bataya nahi. Bas is raastw se chali gayi.
He showed Manik the backdoor through which Nandini left.
Manik to Aaliya- Aaliya, i will be back in some time with Nandini . Jab tak tum handle karlogi na sab.
I need few answers from Nandini.
Aaliya- Sure Manik. Don't worry. Tum jao. I will wait for you.
Manik smiled weakly and left in the direction where Nandini went.
