CHAPTER -54
Manik took the plate to the kids room. But Nandini wasn't there. So he went to his room and found that Nandini was standing in the balcony staring at the stars.
Manik kept the plate aside and went to the balcony.
Manik - Nandini tum yahan kya kar rahi ho? Soyi kyu nahi abhi tak?
Nandini - Mujhe neend nahi aarahi thi isliye yahan Par aagayi.
Manik - Acha... Neend kyu nahi aarahi hai tumhe Waise?
Nandini - Wo ... Pata Nahi.
Manik - Mujhe pata hai tumhe neend kyu nahi aarahi hai...
Nandini - Kyu?
Manik - Because you are hungry. Aur empty stomach se neend to aane se rahi.
Nandini - Nahi . Aisa kuch nahi hai.
Manik - Stop lying Nandini. Aur Chalo aake khana khalo.
Saying this Manik held Nandini's hand and took her to the couch and made her sit .
Then he handed her the plate and said - Ab baitho yahan aur finish it.
Nandini took the plate and started eating it.
Nandini - Ek baat puchu ?
Manik - Haan pucho...
Nandini- Aapko kaise pata chala ki mujhe bhook lagi hai???
Manik - To be frank, I overheard your self talk while you were in the kids' room.
Nandini bit her tongue and cursed herself for speaking loudly thinking that no one was listening.
Manik - Waise mai bhi ek baat kahu...
Nandini - Haan kahiye na.
Manik -Bhook to mujhe bhi lagi hai.
Nandini - Kya???? Apne bhi khana nahi khaya? But why?
Manik - Because I thought ke mai apni wife ke sath khalunga.
Nandini - To apne Pehle kyu nahi bataya. Mai abhi aapke liye kuch leke aati hoon.
Manik stopped Nandini by saying - Neeche Jane ki kya zarurat hai. We can share this food if you don't mind . Unless you want to eat it completely.
Nandini - Haww... Kaisi baatein kar rahe ho aap. Mai itna saara thode hi na khaungi. Lijiye na.
Saying this she forwarded the plate to Manik.
Manik- Agar tum Aarav-Khushi ko apne haathon se khila sakti ho to mujhe kyu nahi?
Saying this Manik opened his mouth.
Nandini took a morsel of food and made Manik eat it.
Manik after eating 2-3 morsels said - Bas I m full.
Nandini - But apne to bas Zara sa hi khaya.
Manik - Tumne apne haathon se khilaya. Usi se stomach full hogaya.
Nandini blushed hearing this and lowered her head.
Manik lifted her head by placing his thumb below the chin.
Manik - Nandini you look cute when you blush.
Nandini - Mai plate rakhke aati hoon.
Saying this she went out of the room quickly.
Manik ruffled his hair and said- God. This girl. She drives me crazy every time.
Nandini went down and kept the plate and washed her hands.
Then she came back to her room and found that Manik was in the washroom.
Nandini looked at herself in the mirror and smiled remembering what Manik said a couple of minutes ago .
Nandini selfthought -
Nandini aaj kal tum Kuch zyada hi blush nahi kar rahi ho.
Ab Manik aisi baatein karenge to yahi hoga na.
Manik came out of the washroom and saw that Nandini was smiling looking at herself in the mirror.
He went near her and said- Kya baat hai . Yoon akele akele muskuraye jarahi ho.
Nandini turned towards Manik and said- Manik this is cheating. Sab aapki Galti hai.
Manik - But Maine kya Kia?
Nandini - Aap aise kyu behave kar rahe ho?
Manik raised his eyebrows and said- Kaise behave kar raha hoon main?
Nandini - Acha Acha sa? Pehle to aap aise nahi the?
Manik smirked hearing this.
Manik - Aren't you liking this changed attitude of mine?
Nandini got lost in her thoughts.
Manik turned Nandini towards him and said- Bolo na. Don't you like this?
Nandini - What?
Manik - These new feelings in you. Tell me Nandini.
Nandini didn't say anything.
Manik - Nandini look into my eyes and answer me. Kya Tumhe ye sab acha nahi lagraha hai. Are you liking this?
Nandini looked into Manik's eyes and said- Yes...
Manik - Yes??? What yes???
Nandini - I am liking it.But ...
Saying this she hugged Manik.
Manik patted her head and said- I can understand Nandini all this is new to you. Take your time to adjust to it. There is no hurry .
Nandini - Thanks...
Manik - Acha theek hai. Now don't start your thanking session.
They broke the hug.
Manik - Chalo Sojao you must be tired.
Both Manik and Nandini slept on the same bed on their respective sides after wishing good night to each other.
Next day was very busy for Nandini as she had to do packing for the kids.
And about Nandini and Manik's packing, Nyonika and Navya did the left over packing in a single suitcase.
Nandini had no idea what the two of them were doing.
Nyonika had warned Nandini not to open the suitcase until she reached Capetown.
Nandini was packing the kids stuff when Aarav-Khushi came to her and asked - Mumma aap hamare clothes kyu pack kar rahi ho. Hum kaha jaa rahe hai?
Nandini - Aaru Khush humlog apke Nanu ke paas jarahe hai?
Aarav-Khushi looked at each other in confusion.
Khushi - Nanu??? Wo kaha pe hai?
Nandini - Haan Nanu. Wo bahut dur rehte hai.
Aarav - Nani bhi sath chalengi kya humare?
Nandini - No Beta Amma nahi aarahi hai.
Aarav-Khushi - Fir hum Kiske sath jarahe hai?
Nandini - Pia Maasi aur Arjun Uncle bhi aarahe hai hamare sath.
Aarav-Khushi - Pia Maasi bhi aayengi. Yeahhh...
Saying this they ran away to play.
Nandini finished the packing.
Finally the day arrived when they had to leave for Capetown.
Manik and Nandini along with Aarav-Khushi and Pia- Arjun bid bye to Padma, Nyonika,Cabir and Navya and left for the airport .
