Manik and Nandini went down together to have dinner.
Nyonika and Aarav-Khushi were already seated on the table.
Nyonika saw both Manik and Nandini together and felt happy.
Nyonika - Ajao bachcho khana khalo.
Manik and Nandini sat down to eat.
Nandini saw Aarav-Khushi making faces on seeing the food.
Nandini - Kya hua Aaru Khush... Aplogo ko khana pasand nahi aaya kya?
Aarav-Khushi - Mumma aap apne hand se khilao...
Nandini smiled and obliged.
The kids got down the chairs and went and sat on Nandini and Manik's lap. Aarav on Manik's lap and Khushi on Nandini's lap.
Nandini started to feed them Roti with her hands.
Aarav saw that Manik was having rice.
Aarav - Mumma mujhe bhi rice ... Aaa...
Saying this Aarav opened his mouth .
Manik smiled seeing that Aarav was trying to copy him.
Manik kissed Aarav's cheeks one by one.
Nandini took a morsel of rice and fed Aarav.
Aarav while chewing it said- Yummy...
Khushi was hopping in Nandini's lap and throwing tantrums while eating and not letting Nandini to eat properly.
Manik saw this and said- Khushi beta ache se baitho. Mumma ko tang mat karo.
Khushi - Mumma bas tummy full hogaya...
Nandini - But Khush apne to abhi Kuch bhi nahi khaya.
Khushi - No Mumma... I ate itnaa sharaaa...
Saying this Khushi extended her hands to show the amount of food she ate.
Nandini- Bas thoda sa aur khalo...
Khushi - No Mumma I want to do Shleepy now...
Aarav - Mumma me too...
Nandini - Acha. Theek hai Chalo let's go.
Saying this Nandini got up to take the kids to their room.
Manik - Nandini tum Pehle apna dinner finish karlo fir sula dena bachcho ko.
Nandini - No. Mera hogaya dinner. I m full now.
Nandini left from there to put the kids to sleep.
Manik also stopped eating and said- Mom even I m done with the dinner.
Saying this Manik looked at Nyonika who was staring at him with an open mouth.
Manik - Mom what happened? Aise kya dekh rahi ho aap.
Nyonika blinked her eyes a couple of times and raised her eyebrows and asked - Manik what was that????
Manik - What????
Nyonika - Abhi Jo yahan Par hua thodi der Pehle.
Manik - Kya hua???
Nyonika - Omg... Manik Am I dreaming or is real. Tum to pure ke pure lattu hochuke ho Nandini ke peeche.
Manik - What nonsense Mom? Aisa kuch nahi hai.
Nyonika - Acha. Nandini khana khalo Pehle fir bachcho ko sula dena .
Nyonika imitated Manik and burst out laughing.
Manik - Mom please... Ab bhi na.
Saying this Manik got up to go to his room.
Nyonika - Kaha jarahe ho Manik???? Nandini ke paas???
Again she burst out laughing.
Manik - Mommm... Ab bas bhi kijiye...
Saying this he escaped from their to avoid further teasing of Nyonika.
Nyonika selfthought - Thank God they both are being comfortable with each other. Kisi ki nazar na lage dono ko.
Nyonika kept the plates in the kitchen and the food in the fridge and went to her room to sleep.
Manik went to the kids room and saw that they had already slept.
Nandini was sitting on the bed holding her stomach.
Nandini self talk- Kya zarurat thi mahan banne ki. Ab bhugatna to padega. Kitni bhook lagi hai. Ab kya karu. Agar Ab khane jau to Mom aur Manik kya sochenge ki mai kitni bhukkad hoon. Goddd... Ab aap hi help kijiye meri.
Manik heard this and a smile crept on his face.
Manik went down to the kitchen and took out the food from the fridge and arranged a plate for Nandini.
As soon as he turned to take the plate to the room, he got shocked to see Nyonika standing right in front of him with her arms crossed across her chest.
Nyonika asked through gestures what he was doing here with a smirk on her face.
Manik - Mom you scared me. Aap yahan kya kar rahi ho ?
Nyonika - Ye question to mujhe tumse puchna chahiye ki tum is waqt kitchen me kya kar rahe ho.
Manik - Wo mai Nan...
Manik quickly made an excuse - I mean maine ye dish try nahi ki thi to wahi khane aaya tha.
Nyonika nodded her head in disbelief and said-
Such a lame excuse...
Mujhe pata hai tum Nandini ke liye khana le Jane aaye the.
Aur abhi thodi der Pehle to tum Kuch keh rahe the ke Mom stop it , what nonsense and all.
Now tell me can you explain this???
Manik - Mom wo actually... mai... woh...
Nyonika - Arey mai to mazak kar rahi thi. I am happy ke tum Nandini ki itni care karte ho. I just pray to God that you get all the happiness in this world.
Manik - Thanks Mom...
Nyonika - Ab jao , Nandini must be hungry.
Manik - Yes Mom.
With this Manik went to the room with the plate.
