Praises for u for giving a POV without indulging in fanwars ..
Agree to most of ur post disagree to some...
I always appreciated manan n pani both ,a mad fan I m but I don't want some blame on my head...
I appreciated them n love them till now *stupidity *
I m pani shipper no matter whom they date or marry I m still a pani shipper
But I never asked them to do intimate sceane never asked them to go beyond their comfort levels, never asked them to overlook their personal lives for us, never asked them to date each other...
Yes I appreciated them loved them ,praised them to do those sceane to work their ass off...
I don't know why ruin ur own hard work ,talent n ur own lovely work of day night by some silly notes...
Why this overuse of sns ??? Why letting ppl point fingers on that work for which u worked day n night ur own work of excellence?
What a loss...

On top of that MTV walas r even more annoying
I can't even watch manan in peace...

Now this note I like😆...

So many ironies at play as always when it comes to KY2 offscreen...lol

1) Niti's very name means "to be principled"...yet this girl is today telling us that she compromised on her own principles, did things that went against her principles, made her uncomfortable...for the sake of the fans?

LMAO let me take a moment over this again🤣

So Niti, the oh so good girl is sending out a message to the world at large...that hey, it's all cool to compromise on your principles, do things that you are uncomfortable with as long as it makes random STRANGERS happy? 😆...oh but in all this mahaanta, don't forget to play the EHSAAN card when the moment strikes...got it...great life lesson, this👏

2) To the point Genie mentioned...lol so all this time when we were thinking here are some actors who actually have some emotional maturity and guts enough to play something realistically with dignity, turns out we were all wrong all along...haha emotional maturity and woh bhi desi actors mein? Clearly an impossible dream😆...Thank you, Niti! For opening up our eyes and reminding us kya level hai desi mentality ka yet again😆

3) The fact that Niti is making it sound like she was emotionally raped in the course of playing Nandu...don't even know what to say to that...very unfortunate new low in immaturity and passive aggressive mind games from her.

4) Basic logic to me says...if you are uncomfortable doing something, don't do it...don't find SCAPEGOATS and EXCUSES for something AFTER doing it...would have some respect for a person if they atleast stuck to their principles...

But I guess Niti ke liye uski apni Niti was never worthy of respect...toh phir hum hi kya bolein😆

All the best to these fools with their attempts to carve out a career piggy backing on the best professional assignment that ever happened to them😆

P.S. I want to know which fans told Niti in how much detail she was supposed to be making out with her co-actors...I never came across any such explicit details...so where did Niti get these detailed directions to follow "uncomfortably" from...I'm most curious to know😆...

Well said Box!!! Very well said!!!
Its clear niti is easily influenced and right now the lost boy and his stable of idiots have her in their influence. She has totally disrespected fans by saying she did " uncomfortable" scenes for their love. Saying so, she has also disrespected Richa, Watwanis and the entire KYY team that put in their heart and soul into this show!!! Unforgivable!!!!

No one denies her hard work and passion and commitment to KYY whilst it was on, but her immature, inconsistent behaviour post the show going off air has been alienating the sane thinking fans for some time now. The note today is the final nail in the coffin. I am in no mood to pander to the mood swings of a silly immature girl indulging in a pity party! She cannot get away with her constant excuses of " i am very sensitive , easily hurt, childish" High time she starts taking responsibility for her actions -onscreen and off. Period!

@AY- We finally found a love note that we both like. 😳😆

The lesson she is sending out to the girls and all her fans is that COMPROMISE on your self-respect, go against your family's sensibilities , your comfort levels for a job work that you are paid for and can always deny or walk out. All for fan love. Ironically she also tells them fans have no influence on her professional and personal decisions. Hmm, I think I missed the "Niti" as well.

Thank you very much for dropping the term "emotional rape" or sexually harassed because that is what she makes her note sound like. She chooses to not only levy indirectly this accusation but she blames us fans.

Not her PH . The very one she canvasses for more shows .
Not the channel- Whose ex-boss is her current employer as well.
Not the actor - Well for him her previous note was how surprised and disgusted she was about his opinion of her , which he made to his friend, her current boss , in a private conversation.

^^ She ignored all this and compromised for fan love. Even though she makes decisions on her own.

But fans. And in the way demeaned her work, talent and ethics.
Nameless and faceless strangers.

Again as much as I understand and share her anger with people who trolled her family, her work and more.

I think, she is unaware , that the actors or her ex-friends/co-actors who chose to work with VG include Kriss ( who her own fans bullied and she called them dumb-f**ks and since then nobody cares for her) or Ayaz ( Umm..she should call and ask how much he has been bashed for demeaning her work on a public platform ).

Fans loved her in S2 but then she kinda missed the memo to her own "Niti". 😆

Respect your work.
Respect yourself

And learn to say no.

She was the most loved actor of the show, if ever , Niti , you take a memory trip, you would remember , of all the castmates..you were the one cherished , sometimes at the expense of the co-actors.

A fan , I might not be of you, MaNan - Yes.

How am I suppose to appreciate your work or your ethics when you say you were uncomfortable doing those scenes? How do that reflect on your own thought process about your work. You think what you did was cheap? Crass, vulgar- is that your impression of your own work then why did you partake in it?

But as a woman , I feel disturbed, please - Learn to say No . Like you do for all your other choices.

All of this👍🏼

Guess what I'm getting deja vu of now...the way this show twisted the, "It's not us, it's you" campaign😆😆...Niti seems to be running with that and has placed the blame squarely on the mentality of the fans for compelling her to do "uncomfortable" things...does she even realize how that sounds?😕

Just say no, man...this has to be the longest pity party in the history of showbiz...and there seems to be no end in sight...cuz these ppl conveniently pull volte faces when it suits them...haha...tell me, by what logic is a person oh so "AGREEABLE" in IVs about working again with ppl who made her uncomfortable? Does Niti have an answer for that? Without B.S-ing if possible😆

These ppl don't even know the I of Integrity...sellouts of the highest order.

I have loved Manik and Nandini, MaNan and the show. Yes through them I knew Parth and Niti. Of the two , I maybe accused of being biased towards Niti for the longest, which I am sure her Stans will not agree, now. But the fact of the matter is for me it was about their excellent work for the show.

Before I start, Parth and Niti , get tremendous hate, name calling on sns. In no ways it;s justified and I will encourage their stans/fans to look and introspect in their own groups and see who spews venom for any one of them. Regulate All.

I agree with Box, we fans , i will include myself, tend to be emotionally vested. Some of us are horrible when we mud-sling each other and , even you, actors for your work and personal choices. Wrong . Absolutely , wrong. Personally I find , even the way fans , comment on celebs's random "hellos" , pics and cry if you guys take a break from sns .But that is just me, i understand , emotions.

Fan-Celeb relationship is complicated and it needs introspection and a sense of responsibility from both ends.

Yes, fans are not obliged to send you gifts, invest their time and emotions in you but then thats what you yourself quantify as "love" and appreciate their support. In many ways there is enabling too. I don't blame you. Your career is based on brand equity , having these fans and the viewership pull. Hence there is a need for fan accountability and a Celeb accountability.

I was appalled when one of your cast members on social media while defending your Mentor/Guide/Current Boss , called your work as "inappropriate pleasure" .
As a woman, I was disgusted , wondered how you felt and fought for you , agitated then. But guess that doesn't matter. I was also appalled when other cast members would troll your scenes and your work jokingly , they called themselves your friends ,but then there was that. There was another co-star, who took to sns and trolled your scenes in the most crass manner. Sigh. Some of the bashers/haters who were fans of other actors tried maligning your work .
These fans, the ones who loved and cherished your work, reacted. Some of us fought for the integrity of your work.

But then, they now realized it was never your Employer ( BBC-Myleeta , who by the way you wanted us to ask for JDJ) , your co-workers who trashed your work in media, were responsible for making you suffer through tough times.
Making you work uncomfortable scenes was not them but the Fans and their love.

As a fan, I apologize, because I took your iv where you mentioned how you were bringing reality to indian tv and there is nothing that you have done which our generation hasn't already experienced and the object was to cater strictly a very professional portrayal of our times. I was proud , i applauded and I was assured.

Yet here we are, hearing about your sacrifice of self-respect, integrity, comfort , working in a torturous environment , going against your family's sensibilities for "Fan love". I feel guilty and sad.

I would not live with the tag that as a fan you made compromises on your principles and comfort . Because as a fan , i have no right to dictate on your professional and personal choices . I can agree/disagree but there is no way , i can influence the decisions you take.

I don't understand, are we suppose to revere the person who gave you the break , I don't understand how he plays out in our equation.
He might be someone great for you, but unfortunately, I won\t feel "comfortable" watching his shows- hence my choice and my voice. My love for your work is limited to that.

But if we don't influence your personal live. Or your professional life. How did we end up being the ones you chose to accuse for being the reason why you did what you had to for the show. The insinuations that you were made to do something that you considered cheap or was uncomfortable because of us , fans, extremes, moderates ..any which one. Why Niti?

You mentioned how these fans didn't bash'/criticize the choices made by other co-actors who are working for your current boss? Well, maybe you would have wondered why your pile of gifts was more than them . Or maybe why you trended and have a much bigger fanbase than them. Or how much the show skewed towards your character and your arc because of fans loving you more than them. I never saw you point out the differentiation then. But alas, Niti, fans invested in you, they cheered for you.Not them , because of your work.

Also, the person you are working now, is your Choice. Nobody has a right to question it, yes there will be opinion , but nothing can influence you. Also, if you choose to work with an actor who you were not comfortable in the past or had issues. it is neither his or the fans fault. But your choice. Please, self-respect , first.

Your grudge against unfavorable treatment is a management issue. As your fans, we cannot do much there, perhaps , take it up with Myleeta or even the ex-mtv head, your current boss , who was largely part of the show when it started. Why did he partake in this differentiation. I feel strongly about this and I will stand with you, if you take the fight to them. I must say, you should ask your Boss why he had this differentiation?

No girl should compromise her comfort level for anyone especially for fan love. Or for anyone. If you could say no to them and make so many important decisions in your life without considering them then what stopped then?

A fan , I might not be of you, MaNan - Yes.

But as a woman , I feel disturbed, please - Learn to say No . Like you do for all your other choices.

Nothing much to add, really; you have covered the entire universe of opinions here. 😆
Different fans engage with celebs in different ways; to each his own. I don't condone the fanatical behaviour but the internet is a free-for-all forum and this is the way most fandoms work.
I can only speak for myself and the disappointments I have felt as a viewer of this show. I have no issues with any actor speaking out against the filth they get on social media. In fact my initial reaction after reading the first page of her note was to appreciate her for defending herself.
But it's not cool when you blame the fans for your choices, and not only cheapen your own work but their love too.
I don't know whether it was intentional or she genuinely has some problem with articulation, but anyone who reads that note would get the impression that the fans were picketing for bold scenes and she went along for their sake. Like, who are you kidding, bachhe? You are the lead in the youth show for a channel like MTV, whose tagline is 'the channel your parents warned you about'. Amazing irony that, considering the fact that she has repeatedly mentioned how her family was uncomfortable with scenes. Your creative head has repeatedly said that the vision was always to make a bold show about the youth. And yet it is the selfless love for the fans which led them to do 'uncomfortable' scenes again and again. Okay then. Why aren't we being at least partly credited for the creative vision of this show? I am so hurt.

As for the spirited defense of VG and the impromptu history lesson, it is wonderful how people conveniently choose to forget how 'someone' was repeatedly trolled for being VG's tail through most of S1. There was a time when these same fans had (very justifiably) raised hell over her absence from the show for two episodes. Yet these same fans are disloyal and un-supportive when they choose to ask for the comeback of the other lead because they want a good ending for their story, or choose to boycott the shows made by the man who publicly threatened this guy. Even leaving personal issues aside, how often has VG sabotaged KY2 itself by using the actors or the channel politics? And yet the fans are being asked what their issue is? Nice how people seem to have a memory of an elephant when it comes to the issues you have faced, and become a poor little goldfish when the fans point out their side of the story. If only we had the innocent faces to match with our numbers...maybe we could have played innocent victims too and gotten away with it. Alas.

Let's just call a spade, a spade na Genie...I don't have patience for these passive aggressive bullshit games...emotional rape is the only description I can find for the way she is describing her experience...and for her to stoop to that level for whatever reason is beyond my comprehension.

All of these kids are utterly confused souls...but I can't even empathize with them anymore...fast losing out on pity too because they are determined to dig their graves with relish...and at the end of the day fact is...there are enough fools out there still willing to pander to these ppl for the "high" of the fantasy they crave.

What's funny to me is what a typical confused desi female she is sounding like...using the "Meri family kya bolegi" card to hide behind😆...yes ofcourse you respected your family so much that you didn't just once do such "professional" scenes but continued to OUTDO the levels of intimacy each time...so which exact time was your family supposed to take offence? Or did you forget to keep track along the way as you happily hung out with the very co-stars who cheapened your work.

There are a 100 people in the world at any given moment who will try to make you and your choices feel cheap and ugly...the fact that you either succumb to that or actually AGREE with such ppl shows the utter lack of emotional maturity you have...the fact that you couldn't stand up either for yourself or your principles and to compound that fact, you just threw the very fans under the bus...wow👏

What's lame are the ppl who after all this also will run after these actors drooling around, sending them gifts...that is why this obsessive cycle perpetuates and goes on...SRK's Fan is a very timely film right now in this era of SNS generated obsessiveness and amplified hysteria on both ends.

@blue: And that is what's so bittersweet...she systematically isolated the very ppl who rooted the most for her out of this cast...

She doesn't have the first clue about what standing up for your principles actually means...instead she acts out in childish outbursts and blasts the easy scapegoats...the fans...cuz she still doesn't have the guts to take on the PHs, creatives who btw actually have a say on what is put in front of her to enact, not random fans.

If you are punning on 'Niti', can I start about how the 'high notes' and 'low notes' in this show have created this unending cacophony which is stuck in our heads? 😆
