Nandini's pov
"Naina just tell me how come you are my friend" I voiced out my thoughts with sarcasm, after finally getting frustrated with her. From the time I picked her up in morning, she hasn't stopped talking.
"Aww because you love me so much" She rolled her eyes and pinched my cheeks to annoy me. Oh god what shall I do with her.!!
"That I definitely need to think why" I chuckled and gave her a look.
Some times I wonder how can she talk so much. Like really where does she even find the topics what and all she should talk. I can never blabber so much. Thank god really!
My thoughts were interrupted as I saw someone's tapping Naina's shoulders. I looked up to see the person and obviously it has to be him. Who else can be after all? Now what does he want?
He averted his eyes from me and gave a look to Naina. " I need some moments with your highness. May I?"
I just don't get it what's the point of stating it as a question when actually you are commanding.
"Sure manik this seat is all yours ...for forever if you want." Naina chirped happily.
Wait what?? did I heard correctly??. What is wrong with her? Can't she keep her mouth shut in front of others at least. I glared giving her a 'what the hell are you doing' look. To which, She winked me and moved out from the seat to give him space.
I really want to know why the hell I am even friend with her. Just wait for the right time I'll not leave you Naina for this.
And why the hell is he smirking? Why do I feel that this will be a hell of a long journey. I heaved a sigh and closed my eyes.
After five minutes, I heard him clearing his throat. May be he wanted to talk something.
"So Nandini I wanted to ask you..." He trailed.
"No Manik I am not telling you anything" I replied firmly with my eyes still being closed.
"How you can tell this without knowing what I was going to ask you" he asked in a mellow tone.
"Probably about the reason for my this wish" I answered calmly opening my eyes.
"How you know..." He was dumbstruck with my reply.
"It's obvious..." I gave him a stern look. Does he think I am dumb or what??
"Ok fine!! But you can't blame me, come on anyone in my place would have been curious to know. So tell me why ooty and what's cooking in your mind after all?" He gave me a know it all look. You might think you know but you don't Mr. A2.
"Nothing is cooking in my head" I snapped and turned my head towards the window side.
Twenty minutes were passed and Manik hasn't uttered even a single word.I was still looking outside the window. I was ecstatic with the contact of cool wind with my skin. But some part of my mind was still thinking about Manik. His silence was bugging me.
I looked from the corner of my eyes to check what he is doing. No wonder...!! He is sleeping!!
I took my time to check him out. With eyes closed, hands crossed over chest and hairs scattered over forehead, he appeared peaceful. The more I see him closely everytime, the more handsome he looks from the last time.
I blinked my eyes and realised what the hell was I doing. Turning my head back, I tried to discard these thoughts. This boy has the capacity to drive my thoughts in a complete opposite direction.
I need to stop thinking about all these otherwise very soon I'll loose my mind, for sure.
"What the hell..." My head snapped towards Manik as I felt the weight on my waist. I was confounded with his actions.
I came out of shock as he yanked me towards himself. His both hands were tightly holding my waist.
"What..are ..you ..doing.?" I stuttered.
"Did you really thought I'll let you go without the answer." The smirk was back on his handsome face.
I tried wriggling but his hold became more firm. My hands tightly captured his shoulders. In spite of my continuous glare, he was still smiling. I dig my nails more on his shoulders. My breath stuck as he started bringing his face more close towards me.
"Manik...what ..are you...doing...we are...in a bus" I again stuttered. It feels like now I am not capable to even frame one sentence properly, without stuttering. Well done!!
"Look around carefully Nandini". His husky voice and his warm breath on my neck was creating havoc in my lower abdomen.
My pupils dilated as I roamed my eyes around. Everyone was in a deep slumber. Even Naina was sleeping with her head on Cabir's shoulder. I couldn't see even a single person awake.
Duh!! What else should I even expect. It's obvious!! After all, because of me everyone was up so early for this tour.
"So now will you tell me or not..." I shut my eyes tightly as he nuzzled his nose on my neck.
I shook my head to indicate I am not so weak and he is not getting any answer from me. But inside I was burning with desires.
"Still stubborn..." He trailed and blew air behind my ear. I shivered and my hold on his shoulders became more tight.
"Come on Nandini tell me why did you planned this trip..". He kissed on my throat for a much longer time. I am numb right now. I am not able to think or do anything. I am freaking feeling like a bird, who is flying for the first time.
He kept on nuzzling near my chin. I can't!! I just can't take it anymore. There are tingling sensations arising on my private part. I can't do this here. I need to control myself.
"It's a punishment Manik for my brother" I tried to speak clearly but it came more as a whisper. I don't know he even heard it or not.
"Punishment...ahhh...hmmm.." Oh he did heard!!
I released a huge breath as his face moved away from mine. My eyes were still closed. Honestly now I didn't had the courage to look straight at him, when he knows he can control me so easily.
"So why this punishment angry baby" My eyes snapped on hearing his endearment for me. I rolled my eyes on his new nickname for me.
"Tell me why..." His both hands moved from my waist to my lower back. It felt like a herculean task to keep a poker face in front of him.
"He left me without informing. Today morning he was coming back. He was desperate to see me and wanted to apologise for going like this but to show him how it feels, I did the same and left".
I answered him reminiscing the talk I had with Abhi last night. He was very sorry. But he needs to know that he is so close to me that I don't want even a pea size hurt from him.
"Ok! Like that! But don't you think he'll be worried for you" he sat straight removing his right hand but his left hand was still there on my lower back.
Even I straighten myself and sat comfortably facing front.
"Nope!! Don't worry! He'll not. I made sure of it". I grinned whereas he furrowed his brows.
"Actually I told dad to inform him that I am on a college trip for 3 to 4 days, same like he did" I explained further to clear his confusion.
"Ok! Finally I got it all! So enough of your punishment and rewards. Let's sleep now. Because of your stupid wish, I hadn't have my sleep properly." He deadpan, pulled me sideways and closed his eyes.
Ok!!! This is so weird. Infact he is so weird. He sometimes treats me as if I am his girlfriend. But I know very well what to expect and what not.
Neither I had the urge to argue about this nor I wanted to. I smiled and shooed away these thoughts.
"Manik...Manik ..." My sleep got broken with the voices echoing around.
I opened my eyes only to find myself leaning on his chest completely. To be precise, I was wrapped under him. I looked up and found him still sleeping.
"Finally someone is awake" I looked over to find Mukti and Alya staring at me.
Cabir and Naina was sitting on the seat beside us. They gave me puppy looks. Ok fine!! I got it! I should try to clear the mess now.
"Manik get up...Manik ...Manik get up please..." I whispered continuously. I tried to detach myself from him.
"Shut up Nandini or I'll make you..." He trailed and pulled me more towards himself. Everyone was confounded with his actions. Cabir fake coughed to hide his laugh. I passed a fake smile to everyone and pinched him on the waist.
"Ouch! What was that for Nandini?" I glared and motioned him to look front.
He maintained his poker face as if nothing happened but I knew he was dazed. I wanted to laugh loudly on his situation but now it's not the right time, then also I was doing a happy dance on my mind. O baby you'll have to answer a lot for right now.
