The cars came to halt in front of the boutique. The gaurds comes out and makes sure if there is not a lot of crowd out and the path is clear for all of them.

Manik was little worried for Nandini... Coz she didn't utter a word after they r done with the song. she was constantly looking outside the window. He turn himself to her try to see her face but it is hidden behind the curtain of her beautiful hair. Manik thought

' oh god I soo want to hug her... But she'll freak out..Manik patience... ' he told him self

' I can sense that there's something that's bothering her but what that I couldn't pin point' he thought ' usually jab girls ki marriage fix hoti hai they feel so excited... But I didn't saw that happiness and that excitement on her face...that...that zing is missing... Is someone forcing her to do this marriage...no no no...what am I Even thinking this can't be..otherwise she will not get effected by me ... I'm sure of it that she is definitely effected by me and when I go near her.'

Manik came out of his thought and grab a bottle of water and moved it in front of her.

She turned and took the bottle without looking at him. Since the song ends Nandini was having mixed emotions... She was thinking from that time that ' I'm wrong l have to tell him about my past... Aiyyappa he is so caring and understanding... I can't hide it from him but I need strength... Please Aiyyappa give me strength to share everything with him'.

She took a sip of water and gave it back to him. All the while Manik was watching her carefully and trying to read her face but not able to. She raised her head and saw him with warm eyes which has so much of care in it. Manik saw her eyes wet he kept the bottle in back and sits straight. He put the strands of her hair behind her ears and Very gently cupped her face in his hands . She blinked her eyes and tear drops falls on her cheeks. He wiped it with his thumbs and asked her

" are you ok... Is everything thing alright..." And waited for her reply. She nodded head in a yes. And said

" it's just that...mama ki yaad aa gayi " she said which was partly true Coz she was remembering her mom also but she couldn't tell the truth about her past. Manik left her face and hold her hand in both of his hands and moved a little closer to her maintaining the distance not to make her uncomfortable again and said

" Nandini listen.. If you want to talk or share anything with me I'm here... You can talk whatever you want and can express yourself to me... I'm a good listener...I'm not forcing you but just letting you know ki I'm here... Ok... just remember that..." He stopped and looked into her eyes. She gave a faded smile. She felt relieved.

Knock knock... Manik turned to look who is it... It was Cabir and the rest. Manik leaves Nandini's hand slowly and says " let's go" he said and stepped out of the car.

The driver came and opened Nandini's door and she came out and joined the others.

Cabir said

" yaar Manik Hume pata hai ki tum Dono ko ek doosre ke saath time spend karna hai but Doston ko bhi thoda time do... Aur waise bhi Tum Dono ki shaadi hone waali hai 1 week mein... To Tum Dono ek doosre ke saath hi rahoge... haina " and he put his hand on his shoulder and said "to ab thoda time hamare saath bhi spend karlo yaar.. Right guys" he winked at every one...teasing Manik.

"Cabiiir " Manik stretch his name and grabbed his shoulder tight and grinning angry and said

" tujhe nahi lagta hai ki tu kuch ziyada bolne lag gaya hai"

" ya Manik Cabir is right " Aliya stepped forward and said " I didn't even meet Nandini properly. Ab yeh hamari family ka hissa banne waali hai tou lets get to know her... Kyun Nandini "

" ya sure" Nandini smiled and answered.

" Let's go guys... We have to select the dresses and it's gonna take time" Mukti said in the middle and stared moving ahead.

Navya who walked to Nandini as she came out of the car were noticing that Nandini face looks a little down so she came close to her and starts walking with her and whispered

" Nandini Kya baat hai... Kuch hua hai Kya...tum itni udaas kyun lag rahi ho "

" kuch nahi Navya Tum aise kyun aise pooch rahi ho" Nandini said

" aisa lag raha hai ke jaise Tum royi ho" Navya said " Kahin tumne jeejaji ko sab kuch bata tou nahi diya " she suddenly asked opening her eyes wide getting surprised.

" nahi Navya aisi koi baat nahi hai...woh mama ki yaad aagayi thi tou bas aise he aansoo aagaye " she smiled " don't worry. They went inside.

Manik gave instructions to the gaurds and was about to go inside... Cabir grabbed him by his shoulder and asked " ek minute mere majnu... Tu theek haina "

" kyun mujhe Kya hua hai " Manik said

" tu thoda tensed lag raha hai that's why pooch raha hoon " he said

" Manik Teri shaadi Kya fix ho gayi hai tu Hume Bhool hi Gaya" Dhruv said

" arey tum logon ko Kya ho Gaya hai...aisa kuch nahi hai... Yeh sab chodo we have to go in and finalize our clothes " said and Manik thought ' phew thanks Dhruv tu ne bacha Ilya warna Cabir ki ankhon se kuch bachta hi nahi '.

As soon as they went inside they were welcomed by the owner of the boutique..

"Hello everybody I'm Geeta Kashyap your designer and the owner... So welcome to my place all of you". she looked at Manik and said " you must be Manik... Nyonika told me that the tallest one is Manik... Haha...congratulations " she greets him by shaking hands with him " she specifically told me to show the exclusive collection... So who is the bride " she asked

Aliya and Mukti who were standing beside Nandini gave little push to her and Mukti said

" she the bride ". Miss Kashyap came to her and said "Ohhh you are such a doll and you are so cute"

" she is... Isn't she "Aliya and Mukti told her. " so now you have to show the best and unique thing for her"

" I have a very beautiful outfit which is just made for her... I'll get it... Our wedding collection is upstairs you guys carry on and if you need any help just let me know my staff is already there...so go ahead... I'll be back" she said and walked off.

All of them went upstairs one by one. There were a wide variety of outfits hanging all over and some of them were displayed on the table so Mukti and Aliya started selecting the clothes by designs and colors and even Navya joined them. Nandini was standing there watching their excitement and smiling. Manik , Cabir and Dhruv went in the men section and started looking by moving the hangers on the rack.

" Manik do you have anything in mind what should we wear today... Jodhpuri suit or a patani suit." Asked Dhruv.

" we should were a jodhpuri after all hamare yaar ki engagement hai". Said Cabir.

" tum log decide karo Kya pehenna chahte dono... I'll look here " Manik side while he he was looking around to figure out what to wear

Miss kashyap came and hand over a suit to Manik and said

" this is exclusively for you if you like can you go and try it please " than we will go from there "

On the other hand Aliya, Mukti and Navya selected their dresses and went to try it on in the fitting room. Meanwhile Miss kashyap came to Nandini and gave her the dress and said " this is for you sweetheart...can you try it on for me please...The fitting room was there ".

She pointed to where Manik went. Nandini checked all the rooms are locked except the last one and she entered in it and locked the door from inside. As soon as she turned she saw some one standing there... And was about to scream putting her hands on her ears dropping the clothes already but someone put a hand on her mouth. It's none other than THE MANIK MALHOTRA...

" sshh...sshh...its me..it's me " he whispered "

Watchimg him in just the vest she closed her eyes tight and her heart starts to beat fast... coz of his close proximity and he is standing in front of he without a shirt.

She starts breathing heavily. He was holding her waist by his left hand and his right hand is on her mouth.. He couldn't stop grinning seeing her this close and her innocence. Without moving he whispered coming close to her

" if you promise not to scream than I'll move my hand ok.."

She thought ' why... Aiyyappa ... Why... Me... Pehle se hi woh mauke dhundte hain mere paas aana ke and you... You give him that chances... Right...theek hai theek hai... Main aap se baad mein baat karti Hun... But Please help me now..'

" Nandini Kahan ho gayi " he whispered again so close that she can feel his breadth on her face.

She shivered and a trial of current paas through her body.

" main haath hataun " he asked in a very softer tone

She nodded her head up and down in a yes

" but apni aankhen to kholo"

She nodded her head on sideways in a no

" theek hai phir main haath Nahi hataonga "

She open her eyes slowly and saw his intense gaze on her... Agiain she closed her eyes tight and nodded her head in no fast. He smiled hugely and said

" acha acha theek hai main hatata Hun..." He moved his hand from her mouth and stood their just like that still gripping her waist..

" ab tum apni aankhen Nahi kho logi tho my apna doosra haath Nahi hataunga... Phir chahe hume aise hi kyun na khada Rehna pade". He pressed her hand a little on her waist said smirking mischievously.. She moved her hands from her ears and put her hand on his chest for support coz she was shivering from his closeness And opened her eyes and turn her face..

"Meri taraf dekho Nandini ". He said in a very husky tone. She didn't turn.. So he turned her face touching it very gently with his fingers.. She was still looking down..

" main tumhara hone waala pati hoon inta sharmaogi tou kaise chale ga yaar..." He again said loosening his grip from her waist..

Suddenly his phone started ringing... He cursed his Stars' what timing'..he took out the phone and saw it was Nyonika...

" ya mom"...

. " beta select kar liye clothes "

Nandini was trying to free herself from his grip... But he didn't let her go.. Instead he turned himself being in that same position with her and lean his back on the door not letting her go outside the room. He also noticed that the lock of the door is broken which he didn't realize before..

" wohi kar rahe thei" he answered

" after you guys are done all of you come to this Restuarant...we'll have lunch and we have to go get the ring... I'll txt you the address..". Nyonika said " aur haan at least haan 3 or 3:30 tak aajana..."

" ok mom" Manik looses his grip more and she come out from his hold and turns her back towards him.. And pick up the dress... She turned and try's to go out of the room but he didn't allow her to go... She turned her back and stands again..

" waise tum yahan Kya kar rahi ho..." He bend down a little close to her and whispered in her ear from the back.. She freezed at her place and words are stuck in her throat.

" hmmm... Jawab do ". He is enjoying teasing her and seeing the reaction on her..

" woh...main...woh..." She was stammering

" woh main Kya " he again asked her in a teasing tone..

She gulped and " woh... Maine... Room Khula... Dekha tou...I came...inside"... Atlast she said..

" ya woh ghalati meri hai... I didn't realize ke lock is broken... Waise tum yahan ho to mujhe yeh batao ki main kaisa lag raha hoon" he grabbed the kurta and putting it on asked her..

" mujhe jaane dijiye na please "...she was shying like hell avoiding the situation...

" Haan haan chali jaane... Pehle batao to sahi ki ... How do I look " ...he asked thinking ' I don't know why all of a sudden her opinion matters to me'...

" toh bolo... I'm waiting "...she looking down ..

'Aiyyappa ... Help ' she pleaded to her Aiyyappa...

" acha just say is it looking good or not good ... Phir chali jaana " he just didn't want to let her leave from there...

" but uske liye tumhe mujhe dekhna padega " he smiled mischievously teasing her again... She slowly lift her gaze going from his feet to his face not looking into his eyesIt was an off white color jodhpuri brocade kurta with mid night blue collar and silver embroidery on it and at the end of the sleeves also...

' oh Aiyyappa how can someone be so handsome ' she thought

" it's good...ab main jaaun and... And... your also...looking good.." She said and . Looks down again..

Manik walked a little closer to her and lift her face with his hand and tucked her hair behind her ears and said

"Thanks and I'm sorry... "

She looked into her eyes and asked " for what" very innocently..

" I made you cry in the car... I didn't mean to... Aur Maine tumhe apni mama ki yaad bhi dila di... I'm sorry for that.."he said very politely..

" it's ok, I missed my mama a lot... And aapki ghalati Nahi hai... Toh sorry mat boliye please" she felt guilty that she's hiding the truth from him.

" tou theek hai... I'll go out and you change here "... And turned to take his other clothes " but make sure you blocked the door with that chair " he said pointing to the chair..and he went outside

Nandini thought ' Aiyyappa he's so nice and understanding and...also a little naughty ...' She smiled to herself remembering the moments with him and felt shy ' I can't betray him...I'll make myself strong an d will tell him everything'...

Out side Dhruv was waiting for every body to show his outfit.. Manik came and said

" wow Dhruv that looks nice.." Dhruv was wearing pista green color silk kurta with silver embroidery on it.

" you like it " Dhruv asked

" ya the color suits you " Manik said

" ok than.. Done I'll wear this today... Waise Manik you looking good too.."

Dhruv smiled

" Manik Teri shaadi ek week ke baad hai tu abhi se dulha banne ki practice kar raha

Hai" Cabir came out and again throw joke on him..

" Cabiiir... Tu thakta Nahi hai apne yeh sad PJ's karte hue.."

" no...never... Mera yeh janam sidh adhikar hai... Waise you know what main sonch raha hoon..." Rubbing his fingers on his chin and " Nandini Ko apni choti behen bana

Loon... Uska koi bhai to Nahi hai na bada" he asked Manik in a very teasing tone...

" Saale usse beech mein mat la pehle hi woh bahut sharmati hai.."Manik said

" arey Nahi main usse bother Nahi karunga but uske saath milke tujhe bother karunga "

He gave a high five to Dhruv and they both laughed..

" theek hai theek hai... Mere bhi waqt aayega... Tab main tum dono Ko bataunga" Manik said in a defeating way...and smiled at his friends... This is what he wanted

" guys so how do we look"... Aliya came from Behind and asked...

All three of them turned and saw them dressed in very beautiful dresses..

Aliya was wearing pink color off sleeves gown style long dress... Mukti was wearing long anarkali frock style with transparent sleeves in sky blue color and Navya was wearing yellow and green anarkali suit with long sleeves...

" so what say guys looks good or not... Say na" Mukti asked again

" looks perfect... What ever you girls feel comfortable in " Cabir said looking at Navya stealing the glance from every body... Which Navya also noticed..

Manik's eyes were searching for her... And thoughts ' why is she taking so long'

" jeejaji aapki aankhen jise dhund rahi hai na who yahan hai " said Navya giving way to Nandini and Mukti Aliya and Navya altogether said

" ta da "

Manik turn to look at her and stood still... She was looking simply beautiful and breathtaking... Nandini was shying away to the glory feeling every bodies gaze on her...

She was wearing a midnight blue long gown with the silver embroidery on the coti and sleeves which are full and A big silver patta in the bottom with blue color embroidery...

To make the atmosphere a little fun Cabir starts to Nandini by saying

" Nandini waise ho tum mere dost ke hosho hawaas uda chuki ho already... Ab kya behosh Karne ka irada hai "

Nandini was feeling so embarrassed hearing the comments and just staring at the floor bending down .

Manik was just staring at her without blinking his eyes

" yaar kitna taadega woh mar jaayegi Sharam se" Cabir whispered in Manik's ears going near him.

Manik came back to his senses and divert his gaze from her.

" so bhai how does she look " Mukti asked excitingly.

"Aaann... Woh... It's good... Achcha lag raha hai... " Manik was just looking at Nandini by stealing the galnces on her hiding from every body.

" tou phir isko final kar lein" Navya asked.

" ya yah" said Manik trying to avoid his blush from all

Hearing Manik's opinion Nandini was feeling happy.

She thought ' why does it feels so right hearing him say... that he likes it... What's this feeling that's making way into my heart and making space' a little smile crept on her lips, which didn't go unnoticed by Manik

Miss kashyap came and asked " so... Did you guys decided what all you want "

" yes we decided... But miss kashyap I need some alterations in this dress... How long it's gonna take... I want to wear this today " asked Aliya showing her dress.

" oh honey call me Geeta...and it'll take about 20 to 30 minutes...in the mean while you guys can also select your outfits for the other functions... I heard that the wedding is very near.." Miss kashyap said

" even I have to do some alterations " said Navya and went close to Nandini and ask her " Nandu tumhe fit hai na ya koi changes Karne hai " Nandini said .

" ya I think I have to do the changes " ...

Seeing them talking to themselves miss kashyap said

" we can do like this guys... you girls come with me I'll show you my tailor and she will do the changes for you and..." Turning to boys. " I've arranged some refreshments for you so please make yourself comfortable and feel free".

" before you go guys... Mom called... We have to go and join her for lunch in this some restaurant from there we have to go for ring shopping..." Manik said " so we have couple more hours coz we have to leave around 3..."

" ok we'll try to make it fast " said Aliya

They all went away.. " woh gayi" Cabir started again

" ab toh muh band karle "

" Cabir " Manik playfully hit his shoulder and smiled.

" waise tu khush hai na Manik" Dhruv asked

" Kya lagta hai tum logon Ko mujhe dekh ke" he asked both of them.

" lagta tou hai ki tu khush hai " continued Dhruv

" but... You have a doubt " Manik questioned..

" Nahi doubt toh Nahi hai... But arranged marriage and all na... Toh yakeen Nahi ayaa

Tha... But Nandini Ko dekh kar yakeen aa Gaya... " Cabir answered instead of Dhruv...

Meanwhile, the girls gave the details to the tailoring lady and came to look for the other out fits and chitchating too.

" so Nandini what are your hobbies " Aliya asked.

" I love to draw, paint and creat sceneries " Nandini answered." And I love nature "

" do you like music Nandini " asked Mukti.

" arey tumhe pata hai Mukti... Nandini is a very good singer... Amms ki student hai yeh... Nandini ki amms na south India ki ek famous classical singer hai." Navya said in one go.

" tumhari awaaz sunke idea tou ho Gaya tha kyun ki your voice is melodious "

Mukti said.

" nahi main student hoon Nahi thi... I used to learn music long time back when we were In mangalore... But I didn't practice for a long time"...Nandini said

" you know Nandini ek baar koi singing learn karle tou bhoolta Nahi... And I'm sure tum bhi Nahi bhooli Hogi" Aliya said " kisi din Hume bhi kuch sunao " ..

" what about your education... Padhai complete ho gayi tumhari" Mukti asked again.

" ya l did graduation in interior designing... Woh papa and chacha ke construction business hai na tou Maine sonch ki kabhi job Karne ka Mann kare toh I can join the family business as an interior designer ..." She said very innocently and laughed.

While they were having a very light conversation of trying to know each other, they decided that Aliya Mukti and Navya will take their out fits from this shops exclusive collection... And Nandini's clothes are getting order from the catalog. Aliya makes sure that it has to be done on the morning of all the events and Nandini suppose to take the trials on the day before mehndi.

After being done here at the boutique they gather their stuff and start off to the restaurant. This time Manik Cabir and Navya Nandini were in one car and Dhruv Aliya and Mukti were in another car. Though the way from the boutique to the restaurant was not that far... But it was a fun ride, because Cabir was teasing Manik and Nandini and in between stealing galnces on Navya from the rear view mirror. It's not gone unnoticed by Navya. Navya was feeling shy and awkward and getting very conscious of herself..

They reached the restaurant where Nyonika was already waiting for them. After greeting and hi's and hellos they went inside and settled themselves in the restaurant..on one side it's from left to right Nyonika, Nandini, Manik and Cabir and on the other side Mukti was opposite to Nyonika, Navya to Manik and Aliya and Dhruv

" waise Aunty manna padega aapki choice Ko " Aliya asked " Kahan se mili yeh aapko ".

Nyonika smiled.

"Waise you no mom aaj Hume Nandini ka secret maalom pada that she can sing too" Mukti shared the secret. " her grandmother is a singer aur woh bhi Classical "

" yeh toh mujhe pata tha ki Nandini ki grandma classical singer hai... But didn't knew ki Nandini can sing too... " Nyonika said " its good to know ki mera beta tho singer hai and now meri beti bhi " Nandini was feeling shy hearing her praise. And sitting so close to manik is making her more uncomfortable. And Manik's happiness has no boundaries sitting so close to her.. He is just trying to rub his shoulder to hers by doing lot of activity like taking a glass of water, or taking a napkin from the table bending on her side and moving his hand up and down and what not.

And Nandini cheeks were turning pink with shyness..

" you know what mom ab Cabir ke liye bhi ladki dekhna chahiye kyun Cabir " Manik said

" kyun Nahi Aunty ki choice ki toh koi bhi ladki chalegi " Cabir was having fun just looking at Navya watching her get uncomfortable. Navya was looking here and there avoiding Cabir's gaze.

" ok ok... Did you guys decided what you are wearing today" Nyonika asked all..

" ya mom we did and we also selected our outfits for other functions also... Just kuch alterations karana tha so we left it there..." Mukti informed

" but Aunty Nandini ke liye Hume catalog se order Karna pada... And that will come on like Thursday... So she has to go and take the trials on Thursday.."

Added Aliya

" what about today's clothes than " Nyonika asked

" that is all ready we have it in the car" said Aliya.

Nandini was fidgeting with her hands in nervousness that Manik is not leaving any chance to tease her. There was this song going on in the background

Manik noticed it and slowly put his left hand on her right hand and held it..

Nandini opened her eyes wide bending down not knowing what to do. Manik smirked mischievously and took a sip of water. Nandini tries to take away her hand but he tighten his grip a little more..

And food came.. Every one starts to eat and Nandini was trying to free her hand from Manik's grip but no use he is not ready to leave.

She lost the struggle to him and trying to eat the food holding the spoon with her left hand.

Manik was enjoying the struggle she was doing with him.

" arey Nandini tumhare right hand Ko Kya hua " Navya asked suddenly watching her eating with her left hand.

" woh... Main...woh..." She starts stammering trying to find words.

" woh jab clothes ka trial le rahe thei to my finger got cut ... So..."

Manik was grinning like crazy listening to her answer.

" please" whispers Nandini bending a little to him, giving a pleading look to Manik as if asking him to leave her hand.

" chod de uska haath... Warna woh Sharam ke maare khana Nahi khayegi" Cabir whispered to Manik noticing what's going on...

Manik first get panicked and than relaxing himself and said whispering bak

" tu apna khana kha why you bothering me "

" achcha... Toh Aunty Ko bolun tu Kya kar raha hai "

" khane de usse ... Aaj bahut saare aur Kaam hai she needs her meals" Cabir was trying to be reasonable with him. Manik thought something and leaves her hand looking at her. Wahan she felt the his grip loosen she tilt her head and saw him... And he was busy giving her a very romantic look.

" Aunty aage ka Kya plan hai" asked Aliya in between not he food. " do we have to come with you guys for the selecting the ring ".

"Ya mom we can go get fresh and we can go to the parlor from there". Mukti added.

" ok aisa karte hain... I'll take Manik and Nandini with me to the jewelers... And you gays can go and get ready and haan jaane se pehle Navya Ko drop kar de na ..

Nyonika said. " and Namratha ne Kahan ki she'll send a beautician to Nandini's house so that she can get ready for tonight ceremony comfortably... But girls you have to be there for her ok" she added

" mom can we go to Nandini's house when we get ready " Mukti asked.

" ya ya that's fine... And Mukti she is gonna be your Bhabi... Ab usse Bhabi buloa "

Nyonika said

" Bhabi... No mom Bhabi bahut old fashioned ho gayi hai and we r still young and Nandini is what... A year or two older than me... How about I call her Bhabs short for Bhabi modern name for my cutest Bhabi"... She said looking at Nandini with so much of love.

"Ok ok as you wish " Nyonika smiled.

When they were done with the lunc Nyonika,Manik and Nandini went to the jewelers and the rest often gang leave for home but Cabir said he'll take a turn to his home coz he didn't went to his house since he came back.
