Warm hugs to everyone present here! I am so overwhelmed by your response and I hope to match up to your expectations. I cant even express in words about the amount of love I have for all of you! So finally! Sent PMs to those who comment, sorry if I seem rude.
Chapter-1

The new day brought along with it the new hopes and feeling of freedom in Nandini. She had been confined to this place for far too long and was restless to step out and enjoy. Wear different types of clothes, go to parties and maybe have a boyfriend *blush*. But nope, the most important in them all was keeping her trustee happy. Writing him letters and making him proud by being the usual smart and intelligent Nandu.

Her bags were already packed with new clothes, as Nyonika had instructed, after all she couldn't let her baby feel left out in that college filled up with spoilt and rich brats. Nyonika had told Manik not to send her to SPACE, but no, he wanted to have her staying next to him, infront of his eyes and Nyonika couldn't stop her stubborn kid from doing what he wanted to.

Seeing no way to convince him, Nyonika and the other kids all became sad to see their most lovable Nandu leaving and asked her to remember them even after she becomes successful in life. Nandini had hugged each one of them with promises to come back and give them their dose of TLC. All the kids were insecure about her promise, even after her assurance, but Nyonika knew she would came back at times and love the kids like before and she knew that Nandini would also be staying with her forever and not after a long period of time. Manik would not Nandini go and she could only hope that Nandini reciprocates the same feelings as Manik's, even if it could be a part of how much he loves her.

Nandini was wearing a knee-length dress, with floral designs and had her hair in a ponytail, looking adorably cute and well beautiful too. Nandini said her goodbyes to everyone with teary eyes and proceeded towards the private jet her trustee had booked for her to take her to Mumbai. Nyonika accompanied her till the jet and kissed her head, with a promise to come soon to Mumbai and meet her. Nyonika instructed everyone that no one should tell Nandini the name of their master and keep her comfortable.

Nandini was very very happy and that could be seen by the glow on her face. The flight journey ended soon and then she was escorted to SPACE in a black mercedes. She was not at all used to this. It was very weird for her to be treated like some queen by all of the people who had surrounded her. They would ask her every time if she was uncomfortable or feeling bad or needed something and she in her most polite tone, would thank them and say she needed nothing. She was not accustomed to this luxury.

Once on reaching the door of SPACE, she felt complete. Her dreams were going to come true and no one could stop it now. Taking a big breathe in, she went back to take her luggage when the servants stopped her and asked her to move forward, they would bring her things inside. Nandini tried insisting them on letting her take her luggage, but it was of no use.

She reached inside, only to be left breathless. This place was paradise, her paradise and she was prepared to enjoy the next 4 years, which were undoubtedly going to be the best of her life.

Her registration was already done and she was taken to her dormitory, which was no less than a five-star hotel, laden up with comforts of all types. The students had to stay in the college campus, this was compulsory for them. Each room in the dormitory was about twice the size of the bedroom that was shared by 15 students in her orphanage, and only 4 people shared one room, that was clearly so big!

The people had already set up her part of the room, which had three other beds with a cupboard and desk each. There was a big bathroom attached to the room and a balcony on the corner of the room. Everything was so beautiful and serene. As she sat on the bed, she heard someone shouting, "oh! don't you dare take that bed. That's mine."

Nandini was startled for a moment and after regaining her senses, she stood up to see two girls, both quite different from each other, bickering about a bed. She was going to introduce herself when she heard someone speak, "But there's only two beds next to the balcony, and I want one. See, the others taken.", completely ignoring me who was standing near the bed, she just pointed at. "Hawww! as if I care!", the first girl spoke again in a sarcastic voice, and before the other girl could continue, Nandini found herself speaking," You want this bed right? Why don't you take it. I'll take the other one."

Both stared at Nandini for a long time with amazed expressions, and the second girl ran towards her and suddenly hugged her tightly. "Do you really mean this?" she asked unsure but very happy. Nandini who was happily hugging her back whispered, "Yes!"

"I'm Navya, what about you, and you're so cute and did your parents come to leave you right now? sorry, I speak to much na? And by the way this is Mukti and I believe we are going to be roommates, aren't we? Mukti's my bestfriend and her brother has come to leave us, I think he's just on his way..."By the time Navya completed talking, I and Mukti had already said hi to each other and Mukti was continuously glaring at Navya, to stop. But it looked like she never would. So finally, Mukti shouted," will you shut up? And yeah, what's your name?"

"Nandini, and I've come alone, you see I'm an orphan, I don't have any parents or a brother or sister."

This seemed to have effected both of them, they seemed to be shocked for a moment, and then finally, pounced on her, together and said "You have two sisters now!"

Nandini had not expected this, Rama had always taunted her by saying that "nobody wants to talk to orphans, they are considered as curses. No one will talk to you Nandini, and see you will come back to the place you belong and work for this orphanage. Nobody will accept you."

But over here these two girls had accepted her whole-heartedly and Nandini couldn't have been happier.

When the hug was still continuing, they heard a high-pitched voice squeeking with joy and jumping to join their hug saying, "Mukti and Navya! You guys are going to be my roommates? I am loving this. I never knew that Bhai knew about you guys. I will go and hug him right now! We three are going to be the three best friends forever!"

Navya and Mukti both made faces and broke the hug with irritated expressions looking towards a girl, who looked more like a barbie doll, with her pink dress and heels. Then the girl saw me and said, "are you our roommate as well? Aww, come here you are so cute, I would love to be your friend. I'm Alya, who are you?"

"Hey I'm Nandini, I'm new to the college. But it seems like you guys know each other from before?"

At this statement of Nandini, both made a huge sigh and looked at her with helpless faces, which clearly said that she shouldn't have asked this question.

"Oh! yes you see, we three are the bestest of friends!" Alya replied cheerfully and was going to hug them again, but Navya shouted, "Oh, Alya you forgot? We need to finish up our settling down. Wait let's do this and then we'll all talk." Alya was going to speak something but Nandini looking at their faces, rescued them by saying," Alya, why don't you tell me more about yourself? I mean I'll even help you in unpacking." Both Navya and Mukti smiled blissfully at Nandu but at the same time felt bad because Nandini had just said the words which she never should have. Showing interest to Alya's talk was the biggest mistake and Nandini was definitely gonna run away from Alya after hearing her talk.

Nandini shifted her things and helped Navya and Mukti settle while Alya kept on telling Nandini about her family, about how rich she was and only Navya and Mukti were her best friends and now she thought that she had made a new friend and kept on ranting and ranting and ranting.

They were finally done and much too Mukti and Navya's surprise, Nandu was still okay talking to or rather hearing Alya attentively. They concluded that Nandini would be a good friend and went out before Alya would hug them again.

All of this was watched intently by a person standing at the window, for a long time and he could not help but smile happily on the sight of his Nandini and made up his mind just to meet her once, without anyone noticing him.

I know boring as hell, right? Don't worry but next chapters will be enjoyable and Manik will meet his Nandu, but Nandini will have no idea about him. I will take up leaps in between, I mean I just can't show 4 years na? Please bear with my shit :P

Actually Manik isn't going to be a student, he is the owner of SPACE and also the brother of one of Nandu's friends and he is going to approach her like this only without telling her about his real identity

Aww.. this is so cute! Manik is doing everything he can for Nandu.. and Nandu is adorable! I like Alya, Mukti and Navya also.. they seem to be peaceful.. for now 😛
