Chapter 11

"Duo competition"

Manik went to pick Nandini.

At Nandini's home

Manik knocks door

Chachi: Nandini, suno dekho shayad Manik aaya hoga

Nandini: Aayi chachi

She opened door

Nandini: Andar aao

Manik: Nandini late ho jayega

Nandini: Manik chachi bula rahi hai do minute aa jao

Manik: Ok chalo

Nandini goes to upstairs to pick her bag

Chachi: Aree Manik aa gaye tum

Manik: Haan chachi.Aap kaise ho

Chachi: mai toh thik hoon

Manik: waise chachi hame jaldi jana hai competition hai na aaj.

Chachi: haan baba mai janti issi liye toh bulaya tumhe

Manik gave her questioning look

Chachi goes to kitchen and bring something and forwarded spoon to Manik

Manik: yeh kya hai chachi

Chachi: Aree beta yeh dahi shakkar hai koi important kaam hai toh khake nikalte hai

Manik: Ya mai bhul gaya yga waise bhi yeh sab karne wala hai bhi nahi

He looked down

Chachi: Aree ye kya baat hui koi nahi ka kya matlab hai mai hoon na aur Nandini bhi toh hai

She said smilingly

She feed dahi shakkar to her sona munda

Nandini was watching them they were looking so adorable

Nandini came there

Nandini: chale

Manik: Haan chalo

Chachi: Nandini you forget to eat dahi shakkar

She gave it to Nandini also

Nandini touched her feet and goes from there

They were at door but suddenly Manik stops

Manik: Ek minute aaya

He goes to chachi touched her feet.

And goes to car

Nandini was still in shock. She was sitting beside Manik. Looking at him.

Manik: Kya hua aaise kya dekh rahi ho?

Nandini: Kuch nahi aaise hi

She was admiring him for giving respect to her family. She also know Manik and chachi's bond was getting stronger day by day

They reached to the college

All met there

Cabir: So ready guys for the competition

YES all said in unison

Cabir so chalo we have to get ready

Haan chalo chalo all said in unison

Cabir: Aur ha girls don't take too much time hame competition tak pahonchna hai

All laughed

Alya: Shut up Cabir

Harshad was observing all of this.

All go from there

Manik was finding him changing room but they were full. Being Monster Manik Malhotra he could easily get person out of that room and could have changed there. But he didn't he had another plans.

He goes near Nandini's changing room. And knocks the door

Nandini: kon kai?

Manik: It's me Manik

Nandini: tum yaha kya kar rahe ho?

Manik: Nandini look open the door it's important.

Nandini: I cant't I have to change

Manik: haan wahi toh muzhe bhi change karna hai

Nandini: toh phir karo na yaha kya kar rahe ho?

Manik got irritated

Manik: Listen Nandini I haven't got any room they are full

Nandini opens the door

Nandini: Ok mera ho jayega toh phir change kar lena

They heard an announcement all participants have to reach in 15 minutes in auditorium.

Manik dekho ab announcement bhi ho gayi

Nandini: abhi toh maine change bhi nahi kiya

Manik: Maine bhi. Ab andar aa jau

Nandini opens the door

There was a partition becoz of clothes were hanging on the stand

Both go to different partition

Manik change himself into other clothes.

He wore white tee shirt with a pair of jeans having jacket of dark blue color

Nandini was trying to reach to zip which was present at the back side of her dress but she couldn't

Manik got ready and asked her if she is done.

Nandini: Abhi nahi Manik. Woh my hand is not reaching to zip. She said it in lower voice

Can you please

Manik: Let me help you

He goes near her .feelling that his steps are coming closer her heart starts to beat fast. She turned her back toward him. He slowly started to move zip upward keeping his finger on spine tracing it. She felt like current was flowing from her body.

He kissed her earlobe

Nandini: Manikk..

Manik turned her

She was looking gorgeous.

She was wearing beautiful sleeveless pink anarkali which was more than knee lenght.It also include whole golden part at upper side

Manik: You are looking gorgeous

Nandini: Thank you

Manik: hame aaj apna best dena hai

Nandini:Yes we will

Manik: waise muzhe tumhe wish karna tha

She knew what he meant

He leaned and kissed her on her lips softly

And said "All the best Miss Murthy".

She also wished him in same manner

Saying "All the best mr.Malhotra"

She also kissed him. The kiss could last for more time but they heard knock on door.

It was Navya.

Navya : Aur kitani der lagegi tumhe Nandini ham sab wait kar rahe hai

Nandini: woh navya bas ho gaya hai par tum jao mai aati hoon

Manik: hame aur koi bulane aa jaye issase pahele hame jana chaye

Nandini: Manik sirf ek minute

Manik: kya? Ab kya rah gaya hai?

Nandini: I have to fix my lipstick

Manik blushed,Looking here and there

They leave from there. They met other members in collidor.

Dhruv looked at Alya she was looking stunning.

Alya also smiled at him for a change

Cabir saw Manan coming together

Cabir: finally tum log aa gaye kya karhi thi Nandini itana time lagaya

Matlab uska result bhi dikh raha hai par fir bhi

Nandini: sorry na thodi si hi der toh hui hai na

Cabir: haan thik hai chalo

Cabir noticed pinkish red color near Manik's lips

Cabir: tumhare lips ke pass mai kuch laga hai

Dhruv also noticed it

Manik: kya hai?

Cabir also looked at Nandini

Nandini : Woh tum jo strawberries kha rahe the na uska kuch reh gaya hai.

Cabir: strawberry??

It was not at all convincing answer

Nandini: Haan woh muzhe bhuk lagi thi so I was eating strawberries. Then he also came there But we were getting so he eat it in hurry so woh

Cabir interrupted

Cabir: strawberries toh muzhe bhi bahot pasand hai chalo I also want it

Manik: Cabir you can't have it.

Cabir gave him confusing look

Manik's pov

Ab mai isse kaise sanzhau ki jis type ki strawberries maine khai hai wo isse nahi mil sakati.

Manik: Aree hogi toh khayega na khatam ho gayi hai sab

Cabir: Okk But It's not done Nandini tumne muzhe ek baar bhi nahi pucha

Mukti: Aree guys chalo varna firse announcement ho jayegi

Haan chalo said in unison

They started to move toward auditorium

Chapter 12

At auditorium

Finally all participants reached to the auditorium

Harshad was sitting behind MaNan.

After some time Nandini goes from there saying that she needs water. she will get it.

Harshad also goes behind her.

He gave bottle to one boy and asked him to give her.

That boy gave her a bottle. She was about to drink it. But she saw Alya who suddenly starts coughing so she gave it to her. Harshad saw that and when Alya was about to drink it he came there and bumped into her purposefully. Bottle fell from her hand.

Alya: Yeh kya hai bhai?

Harshad: Sorry woh mera dhyan nahi tha

Nandini: Alya chodo

She gave her another bottle and leaves from there.

Harshad: what the hell yeh Alya yaha kya kar rahi thi? Usaki vajah se plan fail ho gaya.

Varna Nandini vo pani pi leti. Aur uski aavaj thodi der ke liye kharab ho jati. Aur shayad issi vajah se Manik aur uske bichme zagda ho jata

He goes to plan something else.

Competition gets started

After some participants cabir-Navya performed. Now it was turn for Alya-aryaman and then Dhruv -Mukti. They all were present at back stage.

That time Sana came looking at pairs and said next contestant be ready. And raise her head and she saw Dhruv

Sana: Hey

Dhruv: Hiii, Yaha kya kar rahi ho?

Sana: Woh mai backstage coordinator hoon .All the best.

Dhruv: thanks

Another girl called Sana

Sana: ok bye muzhe aur kaam hai

Dhruv: Bye

Mukti coughs

Dhruv gave her look

Alya was watching this

Dhruv wished Alya and Aryaman

Alya also wished him it was surprise for him.

One student came near Nandini and told her that Neonika is calling her. She felt strange that why she is calling her.

But she goes out from auditorium.

She was on stairs then suddenly her foot slipped and she fell. And there was some pointed iron thing hit her. She screams in pain. She thought of calling him but she couldn't as she forgets her mobile in her bag which she left in auditorium.

So she tried to get up with the help of bars that were present on wall. But it was difficult for as her feet had a strain and there was oil present on floor.

After many efforts she managed to stand. Then she feels pain near her waist. She kept her hand there and finds blood. She got worried now.

She thought Manik must be waiting for her now.

On the other side almost all performances got over. It was turn for Manik and Nandini after two performances.

Manik started to search for Nandini.

He was asking students. Someone told him that ki vo Neonika madam se milne ke liye gayi hai.

Manik gets sensed hearing this. He was about to leave from auditorium then he saw Neonika.

He angrily what the hell Neonika why did you called Nandini

Neonika: What? Mai use kyu bulaungi?

Manik: don't lie ok.Just tell me where she is?

Neonika: muzhe Nandini se milne se jyada important kaam bhi hai.Muzhe guests ko bhi dekhna hai so plz help yourself.

He goes from there to find her

Neonika: Ab yeh ladki kaha chali gayi. Ya phir Harshad ne kuch liya hai.

She called Harshad

Harshad: Yes Neonika Kya hai?

Neonika: Nandini kaha pe hai?

Harshad: Muzhe kya pata

Neonika: Don't act smart with me.Tumhe kya laga ki you will use my name aur muzhe pata nahi chalega.

Harshad: Chill Mrs.M Woh rest kar rahi hogi ab itna lagne ke baad I don't think she will be able to perform

Neonika cuts phone and smiled

And finally found her near staircase. He goes near her and asked her What is she doin here

Manik: Hamara performance hai. Chalo ab

Nandini was trying to walk but she couldn't and said Ouchh loudly

Manik: Kya hua? Thik ho na?

Nandini: Mera pair slip ho gaya from that stairs aur pair mai strain aa agaya hai I can't walk.

Manik: par kaise?

Nandini: pata nahi mai Neonika mam se milne ja rahi thi aur stairs pai oil tha and I didn't noticed it .

Manik: Par usane kaha ki usane tumhe bulaya hi nahi

Nandini: What par uss ladke ne to kaha tha that she called me so mai yaha pe aayi.

Manik: konsa ladka?

Nandini: jane do.Hame auditorium chalna chahiye

Manik: Are you sure.Tum perform kar paogi?

Nandini: Manik my pair is injured but main ga toh sakti hoon. She hide her waist injury by resting her hand there

Manik: Tumhe bahot jyada dard ho raha hai kya?

Nandini: ham muzhase chala bhi nahi ja raha

Manik not giving her any warning picked her up in his arms

Manik: you don't have to worry about this mai hoon na

Nandini: Manik sab dekh rahe hai please muzhe niche utaro

Manik: Accha aur kaise chalogi

Nandini: Manik

Manik: don't worry. Hum picche se jayenge no one will see us

Nandini: ok.

They entered into auditorium by backside.

Luckily no one was present there.

Their name got announced but they were still not on stage.

Neonika and Harshad was happy but their friends got worried

After few minutes they reached on stage taking each other hands.

Cabir: lo yahaan pe bhi inka romance chalu hai

Manik make her sit and goes to his position

Finally after overcome many difficulties they started to perform.

Manik started to play guitar

Nandini started to sing

Manik sings and smiled

Nandini also siled looking at him and sings

Miltey rahe jo aisse hi dono
Lagna jaaye ishk ki nazar

Manik was remembering there days while preparing his albm

Bass mein na mere ab ye raha hai

Nandini was in pain but somehow she managed to sing rest of song

Manik looking at audience

Kuch bhi nahi hai, kuch phir bhi hai

Manik looked at Nandini

Nandini looed at Manik

Finnally finished their performance

All clapped for them

Alya: Cabir yeh song toh hamare albm kelye prepare kiya tha na Manik ke friend ne

Cabir: Hann ton wo rahi Manik ki friend pointing at Nandini

Alya: Kya woh lyrics usane likhe the. They are really nice.

Cabir: toh talented hai hamari Nandini

Manik helped Nandini to stand. Now all were present at back stage. Nandini still holding Manik's hand.

Cabir: Kya baat hai aaise feel ho raha hai jaise love is in the air.

Manik rolled his eyes

All were laughing

Nandini: Aaisi koi baat nahi hai cabir

Manik: Usake paie me chot lagi hai hai

Cabir: What yeh kab hua?

Manik: thik competition ke pehle

Alya: Tum thik toh ho na?

Nandini: yes I am fine. Don't worry

Now this was time for announcement

Anchor came on the stage

Announced hat the winner is Manik and Nandini

all got happy and hugged each other

All clapped

Sab happy the yeh sun ke

So they decided to celebrate their victory.

Cabir: so chalo milte hai change karne ke baad

Nandini: sorry guys mai nahi aa paungi I need rest

Dhruv: It's ok nandini hum baad mai celebrate karenge

Nandini: Nahi abhi tum celebrate karo

Mukti: Okk. Par chalo to sahi

MaNan looked at each other

Manik goes near her and took her in his arms.

She was feeling really awkward.

All started to cough

Manik: stop it guys

Manik take her to changing room again they were in same changing room.

Manik changed his clothes first and asks her if she need any help.

His saw blood stain on his hand he got worried.

He turned his face and asks Nandini about it. She was busy unzipping her dress.

Manik: yeh kya hai nandini you told me that tumhe pair pe lagi hai aur yeh blood

Nandini: Manik waist key yaha muzhe dukh raha hai.

Manik: Let me see

Manik saw that there was blood but thankfully skin hi nikli hui thi

But for precaution he decided to take her to First aid room.

He took Nandini to first aid room. Doctor checked her and gave her an injection.

Doctor: Koi deep cut nahi hai thik ho jayega but pair ko shayad 2-3 din lag jayenge swelling hai

Manik: Ok

Manik take her to his car and droppped her home.

Nandini's home

Chachi opens door and saw MaNan holding hand

Chachi gave them fake look

Manik: chachi Nandini gir gai hi use pair mai chot lagi hai

Chachi: kya? Andar aa jao

Both entered into home.

Chachi: Kya nandini ye kaise hua ? ab dukh raha hai kya?

Nandini: chachi chachi doctor ke pas ja ke ayi hoon sab thik hai

Manik: Isse rest karne ke liye bola hai

Chachi:Nandu tu 2-3 din college ko nahi jayegi

Manik: sahi hai chachi aaisa hi harna Isse room se bhi bahr niklane maat dena

Nandini: Thik hai abhi toh jau kya upar I am feeling little tired

Chachi: thik hai ja aura ram kr

Manik: chalo upar tak chodke ata hoon

Chachi was smiling looking at them the way Manik takes care of Nandini

Manik was watching here and there. He made sure that no one is around then he picked her up and dropped her on her bed gave her dress to change.

Nandini: Tum ja rahe ho na?

Manik: Kaha?

Nandini: bhul gaye celebration

Manik: haan jana toh hain but mood nahi hai

Nandini: Aree I am fine aur chachi Hai aur If I will need anything I will call you

Manik: Ok.but pahele tum kuch kha lo Aur phir yeh medicines bhi le lena.

Nandini: Ha baba

He leaves from there placing kiss on her forehead

He came back to celebration

Dhruv was busy on phone as soon as he kept phone

Alya came there to greet him

Alya: Congrates Dhruv I am really happy for you.

Dhruv smiled and said Thank u. par tumhara bhi performance accha hua tha.

Cabir: Ab kaisi hai nandini

Manik: she is fine but use rest karne keliye bola hai doctor ne

Cabir: okk

Manik called her one time to ask her about her health and kept phone saying good night.
