Noyonika turned pale... What Manik is driving???? Shit ... I have to stop it from happening..

Shut up!!!.. she stormed inside the house desperately trying to call Manik.. I have to stop him...If something happens to him Mr Malhotra will bury me alive... (trying again and again to call Manik) Comon manik pick up the call... Pacing up and down the room.. Pick up the call damn it..

Manik saw Noyonika's name flashing on his screen... he cuts the call again and again..

The driver said Cabir is with Manik.. I will try his number then... Noyonika dials cabir number but it comes as switched off..." Shit what will I do now.. How can I stop him... I have to stop him." Muttering to herself ..Then suddenly Noyonika realized.. Harshad... I will call Harshad and tell him to stop the plan..( dials harshad number)

Noyonika cuts him before he completes the sentence .. Shut up Harshad and listen to me and narrates the change that has happened..

What!!! Manik is driving????? And cabir is with him too... Par aap ne toh.. Ok ok...forget it... For now, I will do as u say and pull off the truck... but what about the cut breaklines... How are u going to fix that...????( Harshad turned and saw Aliya standing at his door with wide eyes).. He went numb...

We have no breaks... (Manik was trying hard to control the car but no avail... It was going way too fast to do anything ... as they turned a corner Manik lost control of the car as they both looked at each other in horror and the car hit the side rail breaking it and rolled down cliff and came to a halt hitting a tree).

Nandini was waiting for manik to come... It was 8:45pm and still no sign of manik.. She tried calling him but he was not answering... The gut feeling in her stomach was saying something was seriously wrong.. Something has happened to manik.. something bad..Just then her phone rang and she sighed relief when she saw manik's name but as she started to speak colour drained from her face and Nandini was rooted to spot. W Chachi looked out to saw Nandini still standing out...The pale look on her face indicated that something was seriously wrong..

Nandini.. Kya hua beta... What happened???? Tum ab tak nahi gayi .. Kuch toh bolo Nandini .. Nandini .. Words refused to come out of Nandini's mouth...

Chachi took the phone from her and asked the person on the opposite sde for details.. Hearing it even chachii for worried.. "Nandini ... Nandini .. Shaking her come back into your senses.. slowly turned towards chachi and tears started flowing down her cheeks..

Chachiii.. Manik.. manik ka accident ho gaya hai... vo hospital mein hain... I have to go and meet him... I want to see him chachi..I am going to see him now.. now crying profusely

Mujhe pata hai... manic ko kuch nai hoga.. tum zayaada tension mat le, hum hospital jaate hain. Ok beta.. don't worry.. tum yahi wait karna .. main bhi aa rahi hu tumare saat...

The ride to hospital took forever.. Nandini jumped out of the auto before it even stopped and ran inside and enquired at the counter about accident victims that came in some time ago... The lady at the counter informed her that both patients have been taken into the operation theater 1 and 2 .. Nandini was running again before the lady completed her sentence. As she approached the hall where the theater were located she saw Noyonika with a tall man arguing .. She ignored and walked passed them towards mukti, aliya, dhruv and cabir'mom... All standing in front the theater.. Seeing Nandini coming towards them all stiffened up...

Manik... How is Manik??? Kya hua tha??? What happened???? Ab vo kaisa hai.. doctor ne kya bola She asked eagerly to everyone there

Nandini relax for now . said Dhruv...There was an accident, their car lost control and went over side rail and hit a tree...Jab tak hum sab aaye un donno ko operation ke liye le gaye the.. We don't know the extent of their injuries.. We all are waiting for the doctor to come out...

Haan..Cabir bhi tha usske saat... Don't worry Nandini... be strong .. Nothing will happen to him.. (Nandini collapsed on the chair in front of the operation theater door... As they waited for some news.. someone came and put his hand on her shoulder... Nandini looked up to a tall, lean charismatic man in his sixties..

Nandini stood up unable to give a name to the face... But he looked soo familiar. "I am sorry.. par aap kaun hai".. in a low voice.Maine app ko pehchana nahi. Nandini was still looking clueless.

"I am your surprise beta" said the man with a small amused smile."Welll, I am Gaurav Malhotra, Manik's dad. Manik tume mujse milva ne aa raha tha jab ye sab hua. Kair vo sab chodo.. Let's wait and see what happens."

Nandini was too emotional to say anything. Tears welled up in her eyes and words come up short. " It's ok beta, don't worry, I have the best doctors taking care of him and he will be ok..

The corridors slowly felt silent as the operation went past midnight. Occasionally nurses will come out to get something but refused to give out any information saying doctors will come eventually to give any updates. The only people left was Mr Malhotra, Nandini, Cabir's mom, Aliya, Mukti and Dhruv. All looking grim, anxious and sad. Every minute passed like an eternity until finally the red bulb above the operation theater turned off and the theater door opened and 2 doctors in scrubs came out. All rushed and gathered around them hoping they have got some good news...

" How are they doctor" Mr Malhotra asked in a tensed tone. Well, said one of the doctors.. "For now we were able to save their lives but both have serious injuries and are in critical condition. Next 48 hours are extremely crucial and critical. If they both cross that without any problems we can hope for the best. Also we would like to meet the parents of both boys in our cabin to discuss further treatment and procedures." "I want to see Cabir" interrupted Cabir mom. "Sorry Mam, You cannot meet them at the moment. Both were moved to Post Op- ICCU and visitors are not allowed so that infections to patients can be reduced. You can see them from outside but not at present. Please meet us in our cabin."

Half an hour later the doctors came back wearing casual clothes. "Please come in Mr Malhotra and Mrs Dhawan." As they both stood up Mr Malhotra turned towards Nandini and said.. "You should come in too Nandini as you are part of my family and my son".

First of all I will start with good news, Both boys were wearing seat belts that reduced their injuries to great levels but there are bad news too.

So firstly about I will start about Manik, Ok, after a pause and sigh, I am going to be very blunt and honest. He is the one who has sustained more serious injury. Even though he was wearing seat belts he has suffered a serious whiplash after hitting his head on the windshield. The scan revealed that he has sustained traumatic brain injury which is consistent with these type car accidents. The extent of his injuries can only be known once he is conscious. For now we have put him under induced coma and ventilators so as the brain has time heal itself. Except for his brain all other major organs seems ok and no injuries to his spinal cord. But he has extensive bone fractures on tibia,ulna and clavicle on the right side and a femoral bone fracture on his left. Luckily he as only suffered hairline fractures to his ribs after hitting the steering wheel...At present we are mainly concerned about his brain injury.
