Nandini slowly opened her eyes, completely cocooned in his arms enjoying the warmth of his body on her cheeks. She laid there on his heaving chest listening to the rhythm of his heartbeat. Nandini closed her eyes shyly as she reminisced their previous night moments and looked up again at manik's face. She was his completely; their hameshas and their fireflies are one, now.

Manik was sleeping peacefully. The fruity smell of her shampoo filled his nostrils. It felt so good to have her so snuggled into him and she fit perfectly in his arms...

"Manik".. she said in a low voice

Are U awake... (looking up at his face) it's almost 7:30

Haan, toh???.. snuggling her closer into him

Manik, subah ho gayi hai, Chachi thinks I am at Navya place, leave me na I have to go...Nandini pulled up so that she can give a kiss on his stubble cheeks. The moment her lips touched him, he stirred..

No.. Don't go now Nandini.. Please don't go.. No, I won't leave you... As his grip tightened on her shoulders

Manik, utto..I have to go back home..

He opened his eyes and looked down at her lovingly...

"Good morning my love... How are you this morning???".. Titling her head and placed a kiss on her forehead

Nandini closed her eyes and relished the feel of his lips on her skin.. "Please Manik... Try to understand na... "..

Nooo... closing his eyes again

Manik ,pleaseee.. nudging him to leave her

Okkk...(opened his eyes with a naughty grin). But before you go, I want something back... and u will have to give it back, NOW!!!!!...

He made gesture at her body... "I need my shirt back"... Giving a classic Manik Malhotra sneaky grin...Nandini looked down at herself and realized that she was only wearing his shirt.

Waise, If you don't give I am gonna take it myself".

Nandini gave him a punch in gut.. Before he could catch her.. She was out his bed and ran inside the bathroom and shut the door...

Nandiniii... Open the door...

No... no.. no, I wont.. I have to freshen up before I leave... Turning the lock

Comon now... Just open na... I want to freshen up too... he pleaded

U can freshen up after me... For now, ... Just pass me my bag... Aur haan, bag dene ke bahane andar aane ki kosish bhi mat karna...

Manik miffed under his breath... She knows him too well and there is no point in tyring...Ok baba... I will get your bag... And by that time I will get us something to drink..(Few seconds later)... I am keeping your bag outsides the door... Ok dear...and walked out of the door

Nandini peaked out of the door... the coast was clear he was not in the room... she took the bag and closed the door back...10 minutes later Nandini came out of the bathroom to find the room still empty. She wondered where he was. Well he did say he will be back with something to drink. Nandini wondered if she should check up on him but decided against it cos she was afraid that she will come in front of Noyonika...

Nandini:(to herself)... I will wait for him here.. Let him take his time. I don't want Noyonika to see me... She will pass some comments at Manik and it will spoil his mood and our beautiful morning... I will sit here and wait for him to come.. She went and sat on the edge of the bed and got lost in her own thoughts..Manik entered the room and saw her sitting on the bed, crossed legged,hand under the chin lost in her own world. He went and sat near her... and gave a peck on her cheeks...

Nandini(startled ) U are back...???

Hmm... and here is a steaming cup of filter coffee just for my lady...and earl gray tea for me

Thank you Mr Malhotra... Taking the cup from him

Manik: Anything for u Miss Murthy...and smiled at her..Both sat in silence for few minutes while sipping the hot beverage from their cup... At last Manik broke the silence.. Can I ask u something..

Manik hesitantly asked.. "I know its your first time... Sooo... are you??? Do you...????? Does ittt...????" .. having a concerned look on his face

Nandini understood what he was trying to ask her ... I am ok manik... Don't worry... (Looked away shyly with a smile)

Placing the cup on the side table and taking her face in his palm and turned her towards him.. Because u trusted me.. u believed in me. And have faith in this relationship... You know Nandini, what happened between us yesterday is so special... Our relationship has gone to another level... What I felt with u.. I have never felt before... U complete me now, I cannot imagine my life without you around.. Not because we did it but because u understood me when no one did... Not even Fab 5... U knew I was lost... Manik broke the silence first..Waise, I think I have buy a new home theater for my room... powerful wala.. As his voice became naughty .Nandini looked up at him puzzled and thought why is he taking about home theater now???

Kyu??? Why are you talking about home theaters now?...

Areee... Didn't you hear yourself yesterday??? Tum itni si choti ho par tumari aawaaz ...Your high note was very high yaar... sach mein. Later on, someone might hear us.. U know ...while we are playing x-box... ( giving a naughty grin).

Shut up manik... trying to cover his mouth ..what are you saying... ?? Nandini turned a crimson red and hid her face in his chest

Welll ... I like it you know...when your notes are high, (in a low husky voice) I know I am doing it right...

Manik.. I said shut uppp..(He kept on teasing her)... As their laughter filled the room...

Later on in the day, Nandini was back home when she received a message from Mukti that she was giving a farewell party for Aliya before she left for her holiday... Just then the door bell rang. Nandini opened the door and saw it was a parcel delivery for her from Manik .She signed for it and opened it. Inside was a stunning off shoulder midnight blue cocktail dress paired with blood red pumps and a stunning ruby and diamond earrings that Nandini has ever seen... at the same time her phone rand and it was from Manik

Hiii Nandu... U must have got the parcel na???

Haan... Mujhe mila... Par ye kis liye...

Aree ,Mukti's party ke liya na... ... Par usske pehle I have a surprise for u... And before u ask what the surprise is... I am not gonna tell u .. toh don't ask.. anyways the party is only at 9 .. par tum 7 baje tak ready ho jana... I will send the driver to pick up up and he will bring you to the place where I have organized the surprise.. After that we will go at Mukti's together... Ok...

While Manik was happily looking forward spending time with Nandini there was silent spectator to their conversation...Noyonika...

Noyonika: (to herself) Toh, my darling son is organizing a surprise for his lovely Nandini huh..and the driver is picking her up... Hmmm. Muttering to herself...well, I have to give him a surprise too...A surprise,that he will never forget in this lifetime... I have to show him that I am the boss and messing with me was his biggest mistake. I will take away the only thing he loves the most in this world... His Nandini. Without her he will be back in my grip, he will become my puppet once again . For that, I have make some calls now... Good day Manik.. ( Noyonika said with cold heartless eyes and a evil smile)... It was just after 6:30pm.. Back in her room Nandini was in front of the mirror getting ready and Chachi walked in..

Are wow Nandini... You are looking so beautiful... Seeing Nandini's refelction in the mirror

Nandini turning around..Thanks chachi... Manik ne beja tha... Aaj Mukti ye waha party hai na. par uske pehle Manik ne mere liya ek surprise rakha hai.. Pata nai kya hoga..her voice trailed off

Acha!!!!!... Toh tum ne finally apni dil ki baat sun li.. Main bahut khush hu ki Manik tumare zindagi mein aya.. Sambhal ke rak ne use.. Sacha pyaar naseeb walo ko hi milta tha hai..(patting Nandini face gently)...Chodo ye baat... Tum party se 12 baje ka pahle aa jana.. warna chachaji bura maan lega.. ok beta..

Ok chachi... I will come... aap tension mat lena..

Nandini phone started ringing flashing Manik's name...

Tum use baat ko tab tak mein tumare chachaji se jaa ke baat karti hun.. and chachi went out of the room

Hii Manik...she said in a chirpy voice

Well, mein hi tume pick up karne aa raha hu... I thought organizing the surprise will take time but it has all been arranged.. toh I can come now.. Be ready...See you soon..

Main Nandini ko pick up karne jaa raha hu. Maine uske liye kuch surprise organize kiya hai. We will come by later..

Manik came out of the house and told the driver that he will go to pick up Nandini took the key from the driver and drove out, just then Noyonika car drove into the driveway... She got out and saw the driver ..
