CHAPTER 1 B
"Hey what happened ..?? Did I hurt you..?? Look at me..!" But she didn't opened her eyes. Another loud lighting and she shivered more , tighting her grip on his shirt and that drew his attention.
"Shitt..!!" He murmured and came to her side. Taking her in his embrace , he rubbed her back. "Its ok.. Kuch nahi hai. Nothing will happen. Main hoon yahan par. Kuch nahi hoga." He consoled her lovingly and kissed her head. Her hold on him was So tight as If her life is dependent on that and she will leave it , she will die.
But it seems , nature was having its own plans. The more she was scared of the thunderstorms and loud lighting , this morning was serving the same more and more. Another loud lighting in the sky and she clinged more upon him , and the next moment he realised she was sobbing. He felt helpless . Had it been a human action , he would have till now surely killed the person for making his princess shed tears , but this was a natural phenomena and he could do nothing .
She was scared. She was horrified. And she had all the reasons for it. Not once but thrice ; yes thrice , three incidents , miserable incidents of her life which changed her life for ever , took place under such natural phenomena. She believed that GOD always gave her signals before any big mishap happens in her life on the form of these thunderstorms and loud lighting.
"Manik.." She called him between her sobs still hiding her face in his chest while he was comforting her by patting her head and rubbing her back at times. Hearing his actual name from her was enough for him to understand she was not normal. From the time they are together , she never addressed him by his actual name in their alone time.
"Haan..say..!!" He encouraged her to speak. "Mumma ... Papa.." that was all she could manage to say . He tightened his grip more around her , "ssshhh...!!! Bas... They are here.. close to you ..." He said still keeping her safe in his arms .
She didn't said anything else but kept on sobbing . He didnt stopped her as well. After sometime , she was quite . Till then the thunderstorms also stopped.
Manik broke the hug and saw her red swollen teary eyes. How much he tried , but he just could not help her to over come the shock of those three incidents in her life. Wiping away her tears , he kissed her forehead , "everything will be fine soon. Just trust me. Main hoon yahan , ab Kuch nahi hoga . I promise." He softly told her and she nodded.
After giving another few minutes of comfort to her , he asked her to freshen up , while he waited for her in his apartment.

Manik malhotra , elder son of a renowned businessman . His mother passed away when he was too young . His father married another woman whom Manik loved and respected equally and received the same from her. She always treated him like her own son . He too was happy and contented in his life along with his family and his younger brother Dhruv , who was nothing else than his own son to him. Manik always loved and protected him like a father.
But when the relations are related to blood , doubt is obvious to rise. Some filthy and gutter minded relatives provoked Dhruv regarding his step brother. Clashes started , fights began and their happy family was no more a happy family. Manik tried his level best to make Dhruv understand that everything belongs to him and he has the same position in the family nad in business as his but he was really not in the mind.
To save his family and its name and most importantly the happiness of his family , he one day transferred each and every thing that was on his name , right from property to cars or anything to Dhruv , and left his family. He did not hold any grudge for anyone , but it was not possible for him to see his family , his brother in pain.
Destiny brought them to the same city and to the same building , just opposite to each other. Unaware of the Destiny's plan , they were living thier lives , when one day they came out from their respective apartments at the same time. This somehow continued and they would exit at the same time. Slowly the strangers became the smiling neighbours , then hi hello people , slowly they went on to become friends and ultimately now they are each others life.
Nandini found her missing solace in manik. He would treat her just like his baby. He gave all the motherly love and the care of a father. Nandini found every missing relation of her life in him. A father , a mother , a friend , a guide , a lover , a boyfriend , he was every thing to her.
They became each other's world when they left behind the world they were actually from.
But how long this world will stay away from the evil eyes of the other cruel world ...?? How will her fear let her live her life peacefully..??
