Manik walked into the gym angrily and started doing push ups... Every push up increased his frustration and anger even more.. His brows shrunk with eyes spitting fire and sweat was dripping all over his face... Nandini's thoughts were driving him crazy.. Her tears and pain when she reminded him of their kiss.. The anger in her eyes and her care.. Despite all this she did cared about him... Finally when Manik was tired both physically and mentally Manik found himself lying himself on the floor...

He looked at his reflection in the glass ceiling.. "She just loves to torture me" He thought.. "Why does her pain pains me..her tears make me sad.. her smile makes me smile...she makes me happy.. Why?? Why do I feel so much around her?? Do I love her???" Finally Manik confronted the single most important reality of his life but was not ready to accept it yet.. "No I don't love her..She's no one for me..She's nothing for me...She can have fun with Abhi or anyone who cares..I definitely don't.." Manik said to himself and walked off to take shower...

As soon as Manik walked off from shower he found the blanket and cushions missing.. He smirk saying "Stupid girl.." As he was getting ready Alya walked in "Hey baby.." Manik frowned.. She came and hugged Manik.. "Good morning.." She smiled and Manik was about to hug Aliya when Nandini walked in "MR Malho..." She stopped watching Manik and Alya hug each other.. Nandini turned back and ran out of the room as Manik pushed Alya away... She stood right next to door with her eyes closed and tears flowing.. Suddenly she felt two hands wiping her tears away...

She slowly opened her eyes to find Manik wiping her tears away.. She looked into his eyes which were already gazing her... "Nandini.." Manik tried speaking but Nandini was leaving... Watching her leave Manik blocked her way "Lemme explain myself..Its not what it looks like" Manik tried explaining to her.. Nandini looked up to him..Gave a faint smile and said "Mr Malhotra you were hugging your girl friend whom you love and I am just your manager.. I don't have any right to interfere in that.. Please Mr Malhotra don't bother.." She pushed Manik away and walked off leaving a broken Manik...

"She cries and says its not her business..It is her god damn business..It is her business.." Manik said to himself..."And what is this Mr Malhotra? Why can't she call me Manik?" Manik was angry and lost when Alya came fuming "WTH Manik you stopped short of hugging me cause of that Nandini? I am your girl friend damn it.." But Manik did not paid any attention to "Chuck it Alya and come for breakfast.." He went down...

As Manik reached the breakfast table he found DJ and Abhi already there.. DJ smiled at Manik and Manik smiled back and wished "Good morning DJ.." Abhi wished Manik "Good morning lil bro.." Manik gave him a frowning smile... Alya too joined them and greeted DJ and Abhi.. Abhi smiled at her... Just as they were all exchanging wishes Nandini walked in with breakfast... Soon she served served DJ her favorite prathas and gave Alya her diet breakfast and now it was Manik's turn.. Manik was constantly looking at her without even blinking...

She looked into Manik's eyes and in a moment both their eyes spoke everything that was unspoken between them...Nandini's pain and anger..Manik's confusion and his anger and his love all those were conveyed by those eyes.. She put his sandwich in front of him.. Manik saw and was shocked what he saw.. there was a frowning carrot with two vampire teeth.. DJ burst into laughing saying "vampire.." and Manik looked at her angrily...

Manik and DJ's looks game was interrupted by Abhi's voice "Wow Nandini smiley sandwich.." "What smiley sandwich?" Manik was shocked and looked right into his plate... He gave Nandini "you are now serving him smileys.." look to which Nandini replied with "my wish" look and ignored him... Manik was "wow ab smiley sandwich Abhi khayega? huh.." Manik thought..And all of a sudden a brilliant idea flashed across his mind.. He reversed the frowning carrot and made it a smiley "huh now even I have a smiley.." Manik said it out loud and everyone across the table gave a weird look to Manik..

DJ thought "Oh Jalebi you are so gone.. Why can't you just accept the fact?" Abhi tried hard to control his laughter;Nandini despite her anger couldn't stop herself from admiring Manik's childishness and Manik he didn't care what people around him were thinking all he cared at that moment was the smiley sandwich as was happy like a 5 year old...

After their breakfast everyone was ready to leave for college.. Manik knew Nandini would not come with her but despite this he was hoping against hope for her to come with him... Soon DJ bid Nandini goodbye and Abhi asked "Hey won't you come with us.." Nandii said "No Abhi I will come by an autorickshaw.." "Wow auto.." Abhi exclaimed "I have never travelled in an auto..Do you mind if I accompany you." Nandini looked at him surprised and said "Ok.."

"Ok...what Ok??" Manik said "abhi you can't go in an auto.." He ordered Abhi.. "Why can't I?" Abhi questioned him.. "Because.. because.." Manik was thinking hard for a reason.. "Because we are Malhotra boys and we don't travel in autos.." Manik's reason.. Abhi smiled and said "Well junior Malhotra I am not as popular as you so don't worry.." he then turned towards Nandini and said "Let's go.." and dragged her into an auto...
