As Nandini was taken in the OR Manik had to let go off her hand.. He stood there staring at the closed door. Finally Cabir came and asked Manik to sit down.. He got some water and coffee for Manik.. When Manik settled down a bit Dhruv asked Abhi "by the way how did you came to know and how did this accident happen?" Abhi said "I got a call from Nandini's mobile from a random guy saying that Nandini was crossing the street absent minded and then a speeding car came and hit her.. He also told me that the impact was so much that Nandini rolled over the car and fell on other side.." Hearing this Manik closed his eyes and hung his head as he knew why she was absent minded..

Just as they were all sitting chachi came in as she was better now.. "Where is Nandini and how is she?" She asked chacha.. DJ took her hand and made her sit "She's in surgery.." Hearing this chachi started crying.. Manik walked up to chachi and held her hand.. "Cha.." he was about to say something when chachi shrugged her hand.. "stop it Manik! now what more do you want.. You brought her till here now you want her dead??" Chachi was angry and Manik knew she was justified... He again took her hand and this time held her tightly and said "i know you hate me and you have every right to do do but chachi I don't wan't her dead.. I can't see her like this in pain.. I love her chachi.." "Oh wow.. now you love her.what's the plan this time Manik.." Chachi refused to believe Manik..

DJ was hurt when she heard this but she choose to remain silent as she knew Manik deserved every bit of hatred but he was still her grandson..Her pride.. "Chachi one chance please one chance to prove me that I have changed.. One chance to prove me that I am good enough for Nandini..Just one chance.." And he buried his head in her lap... Chachi slowly freed her hands and put them on Manik's head and said "Ok Manik one chance..just one.." Manik was happy "thanks chachi.." Chachi smiled faintly "Manik this chance is not because you changed this chance is because despite all that has happened my Nandini still loves you..with all her heart.. So this chance is for her love..Don't let her down this time.." "I won't I promise..I won't.." Manik said..

It has been more than five hours that Nandini was taken in for surgery.. Everyone was almost dozing off unable to keep up with their sleep but for Manik.. His eyes were constantly fixed on the OR doors.. Suddenly his attention was broken by a young woman who brought some oil and poured it in the diya and lighted it infront of the Ganpati statue kept just beside Manik.. Manik looked at her and asked "what are you doing?" She smiled and said "praying to god.. my husband has met with an accident so I'm praying and if your heart is true and pure he listens to you.." She said and went away..

Just then Manik remembered how Nandini used to say 'Aiyappa' and remembered the girls' words "if your heart is true he listens.." "But this is Ganpati? Where will I find Aiyappa?" Manik thought.."maybe be they would know each other and Ganpati might give him the message?" He thought and stood up in front of Ganpati.. "I don't know how to pray..It's nandini's department.." Manik said and smiled.. "She takes Aiyappa's name more then she breaths.. She's the reason I am breathing.. She's the reason I'm existing..So please please don't take her away from me.." A lump started to form in Manik's throat.. "I know I am bad but I will change..In fact I have changed..I know you are Ganpati and her favorite is Aiyappa but I was hoping you two would know each other and you can pass on the message to save her..Please I need her.."

"The world is definitely ending.." Cabir said... Just then the doctors came out and said "Relax Manik..She's fine now.. Although she will take a long long time to recover but she will as long as she has someone like you who loves her so much.." Manik could finally breath again.. Nandini is fine.. She is gonna be ok...

Hope comes in all forms.. And today it came in the form of a young woman who made Manik stand in front of god and pray.. And for the first time in his life he wanted something not for himself but for her.. it might be first time but its definitely not the last.. Today in the wake of this tragedy Manik rediscovered himself..
