CHAPTER 24- HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI
"Stop it guys... See manik and Nandini are not here" said dhruv.
"Shit! Did we miss something"said Cabir...
"Shutup... Pray that nothing wrong happens otherwise I will bury you with may bare hands" threatened mukti
"All of you divide and search for them now!!" Said mukti

Nandini was lead by manik but nandini was deep in her own thoughts due to which tears formed in her eyes.
( nandini, you have do this...if not today then tomorrow but u have to face it ...for his happiness... You can't deny that from him)
"Manik!" Said nandini with teary eyes softly which made manik froze.
Paas aaye dooriyan fer bhi kam naa hui
Ek adhuri si hamari kahani rahi
She struggled a bit to say further and then stopped. Manik saw her struggling and engulfed her in a tight hug giving her support.Her breathing was quicker and shallow... letting him know the state of her mind. Manik knew there was definitely something wrong or else nandini being so tensed after a lavish date was something out of question.
Nandini reciprocated hug She could feel the hug was not like their previous encounters... it was tight, soothing and warm... something she had been craving for so long. she tried to get away but he still held her tighter, not letting her move, "calm down nandini.. just give a break to all your thoughts..."
She stilled a bit and took a deep breath in, resting her head on his chest, holding him softly round his waist. She felt his heartbeat over her ears... slow, soft, rhythmic... and his soft breathing.

he softly caressed her back, "you wanna talk?"
There was a complete silence for a while and he let her relax.
"Manik, you trust me?"she broke the silence.He was not very much surprised because he had faced similar situation also. He spoke nothing, just caressed her head softly until she calmed down.
"Yes I do ... More than myself"replied manik softly he hugged her more tightly, for support to hear what was coming next.
Ishq se chaa wahie jisko milti nahi

"Manik I want you to get married...someone"said nandini breaking the hug looking in manik's eyes.

"What!" Manik whispered shockingly... Trying to register her words. Manik looked dejected which made nandini panic as manik unconsciously started moving backwards.
She rushed towards manik and got hold on him.
"Manik! I want you to marry...even I have found a girl for you... She is best for you... Manik, for how long you want to lice alone...you need someone besides you" said nandini placing her hand on his cheeks.

"I want YOU beside me!" Said manik looking into her eyes with pain and accusation.
"Manik! Try to understand" said nandini cupping his face in both her hands.
Khushboo se teri yunhi takra gaye
Chalte chalte dekho na hum kahan aa gaye
"What nandini! What and WHY should I understand"
"Manik please! "

"Nandini, its not joke going on... You are hell bent in destroying so many lives... I love u ... And u too love me...Than just because of your insecurities you want me to marry someone else...I don't believe this!." Almost screamed manik pulling nandini closer by her arms.
"Manik that's not insecurity...that fact.. And one has to think rationally... Because I don't want you to live with me in fear that I can leave you any moment"said Nandini with equal rage.
"Giving your insecurities name as facts are not going to change the equation between us... and talking about the fact...that let me introduce to another fact that. I love you and will always love you...no matter how long or short our happiness is...I want to live it with you "
Intezar tera sadiyon se kar raha
Pyaasi baithi hai kab se yahaan
"Exactly my point... That's why I am telling you to marry because I want you to be happy forever ...what you are asking of is shortlived memories and happiness and want to cherish it forever... I don't want that because you deserve the best ...manik! Decision is even more hard to take for me than you to accept... I think this was the end of our story...let's give it a happy ending" said nandini placing a kiss on manik's forehead while manik was lost in her own thoughts. Seeing manik's state tears flowed continuously from her eyes.
"No nandini...not this time...I will never ever agree to this..you can't force me to do something like this...I know u are upset over what ever happened ...I am ready to talk it out...but not this...never"
"Manik! Please If you ever loved me...if you care for me...if you are really guilty for not being with me when I needed you... Please marry her... You won't regret your decision... Trust me once" said nandini cupping his face and making him look towards her.
"Fine... You will regret your decision nandini...just for the sake of my love I am ready to sacrifice myself..." said manik looking other side.
"Really manik!!! You will...
MAnik you don't know what you have given me... You know when you will meet her... You will instantly fall in love with her... She is a sweetheart... Thank you manik... Thank you so much!!!! I love you so much" said nandini throwing her arms around manik's neck and hugging him tightly to which manik smiled sadly and reciprocated her hug.
"If that makes you happy...I will even kill some for it" whispered manik.
"Ohky manik...I have to take a leave now... I have so much to prepare...In fact she is coming back from London tomorrow morning... I will you arrange a meeting for you tomorrow... I will send you all the details about the meeting... Chalo...o have to rush... Bye thanx for such a beautiful night" said nandini happily kissing his cheeks hard to which manik smiled sadly as tears formed their way down his cheeks.

She bit the moan that was trying to escape her lips as tears rolled down her cheeks . she couldn't pretend to be happy anymore when he own heart was bleeding. She didn't turn around to give manik a last glance as she knew that will break her even more.

She walked out of the place and sat in the care instructing driver to drive her back home leaving heartbroken manik behind.

Manik walked towards bushes and stood there.
"I am probably the first man in the world who got live audience in his date... Isn't it"
Said manik loud enough for all of them to gulp on fear.
"All of you come out right now!" Said manik threateningly.
All of the came out with most innocent faces on , giving manik puppy looks and stood in from of him in line like children waiting for punishment from the head master but still giving looks trying hard to save from his anger.
Manik crossed his arms around his chest waiting for them to explain their part.
"Manik! Buddy...I tell you these girls...they forced us to stay here because they were so curious to see what's gonna happen...I resisted but they were hell bent to stay back..." Said Cabir making everyone's jaw fall in shock and disbelief.

"Because?" Said manik curiously which scared hell put of Navya like always but aliya came to her rescue.
"Manik! We had to stay back because we can't trust you both together"

"Manik! Last time when you were suppose to have a romantic date... You brokeup... And we did expect the same this time too because as far I know nandini is not the one who will give in easily"said mukti sincerely.

"And if you know me well then...manik is not the one who will give up easily" Snapped back.
"we can afford to take that risk again...because last time you left for London without even informing us. I know situations were different that time." Said dhruv.
"But we can't take a risk... Because you and nandini wouldn't have shared it with us that what exactly happened between you too... And would have ended up with stress"said aliya.
"So to save you from all this we stayed back"said Cabir with a grin to lighten the mood " by the way how do you that we were behind the bushes here"
"Not only the bushes, I knew from start that You are Here only" said manik with a smirk. "And I expected that from you " said manik with a genuine smile.
"Manik, what now... Nandini toh Teri shaadi ka ladoo tujhe hi de gai"
"I expected that she will cry... Beg me to leave her alone to move on in my life...to go far from her..etc, etc...but I think I underestimated her emotional cells... I mean direct wedding" said manik.
"I know...purra ka purra hand grenade muh mein dalh gai?" Said Cabir with wide eyes animatedly.
"What's the plan now" asked aliya.
"Don't know"said manik.
"Hey!!! I have an idea" suddenly Navya screamed.
"Gosh! Woman... Lower your voice... You are hurting my ears" said dhruv standing next to her cupping his ears.
"Navya! Please we are being serious here...don't try to add some stupid bhojpuri movie script here"
"If you have something better to say than say... Oh...on second thoughts don't stress you pea sized brain... It will burst because of overload" snapped Navya back.
"Ohky... Please enlighten us with your amazing idea" said mukti.
"Manik ,you marry with whatever girl nandini wants you too" said Navya grinningly which made manik's eyes pop out.
"I so knew it... When ever you open your trap... Idiotic ideas only spill out"said Cabir.
"Navya please""said aliya but was cut off by Navya "first let me complete then decided" to which manik rolled his eyes.
Navya narrated her plan animatedly to which Cabir and dhruv gave a disbelief look. She ended up with a grin to earn weird looks from all.
"What?" Asked Navya awkwardly.
"Her you go!!! You can't speak anything without leaving you trademark behind it" said Cabir in disbelief.
"Typical madhubala-ish" sighed mukti.
"But that's unfair...I mean how can we do this..." Said aliya.
Jhuk gaya aasmaan

"Everything is fair in love and war" said manik suddenly turning everyone's a tension towards him earning shocked and disbelief looks from everyone except Navya.
"Manik...you can't... I means its utter shit" said Cabir disgustedly.
You have any other option... " asked manik to which Everyone went silent.
"Ohky do you guys have any idea who can be the girl nandini would like me to marry" asked manik.
"One thing is for sure...nandini won't get you married to someone she just meet or complete stranger... She must be close to her" said dhruv
"Meera" said Cabir turning everyone's attention towards him.
"Who is Meera" asked mukti.
"Yeah! That girl who lives next to you in your apartment...I have a seen nandini gels up really well with her"said cabir
"What! Have you gone nuts" said mukti.
"Shut up guys... Cabir keep your trap shut otherwise I won't mind knocking you out right away" screamed manik making Cabir gulp in fear.
"Guys... Anyone close to her... Friend relatives family... Anyone apart from you" stressed manik on each word making everyone strain their brains to recall something.
"Family"aliya said slowly thoughtfully.
"Arushi!"mukti said suddenly making everyone turn towards her.
"Yes !! it has to be Arushi" Said mukti.
