"this car is yours..?" Manik looked at her surprisingly and with frown on his forehead said , "yeahhh of course..!! What did you thought.?"
"Sooo when it's yours ; do anything you want.. Why asking me..??" She said widening her eyes.!!

haha this reminds me of that scene between Shahrukh and Hrithik in Kabhi khushi kabhi gham

Part - 4

"Are you mad..!! Aise hi chali Aayi wahan se.. Pagal ho Kya..?? At least Bol to deti...!" Manik shouted at her.
"What else would have I done ..?? Waited for you ki kab tum barish enjoy kar chuko taaki hum aage kuch soche..? Aur waise bhi all this is happening because of you. Tum check nhi kar sakte the ek baar..?? Because of your careless attitude we are stuck here. what to do now haan..?? Tell me..? I need to get home soon.. You get that.." Nandini replied in anger.
Manik this time got irritated with her and shouted "what is your problem..?? Can't you behave normal for once.? What keeps you hyper every time haan..??
"That's none of your business" ; Nandini again gave it back on Manik.
"Ohhh come onn..!!" Manik in anger held her arms which drew her closer to him.
"Leave me manik...!!! ... I said leave my hand.." Nandini was constantly trying to get herself free from his hold but his grip was way more stronger. He kept looking at her and after few secs ; Nandini's eyes also fell on him.
Water was dripping down their faces and they both shared an eye lock.

They came back from the trance and broke the eye lock when a car horned them from behind. Nandini pushed him back and turned to move towards her home's direction.
"Nandini wait..!!" Manik called her from behind and she turned back.
"Tum Kya chal kar ghar jaogi..?" Manik enquired her.
"Koi Aur option hai.?" Nandini replied to him but this time a bit politely.
Manik started looking here and there. There was actually no other option. They both either needed to take a lift from someone or walk to their homes.
Manik was feeling bad. His carelessness got them stuck in this situation. They had only one option left to walk to their homes.

Manik signalled her to walk ahead. She started walking but then suddenly stopped and turned back. Manik looked at her face.
"This is the way to my home not yours ; tum yahan kyun aa rahe ho." Nandini questioned him as he had started walking behind her.
"What you think ; I'll let you go to your home alone at this time and in this rain.?" Manik asked her pointing a finger towards her.
"I'll manage myself. Tum ghar jao. It's already late." Nandini replied.
"What ..?? No way ..! I am not leaving like this . I will drop you home and that's final. I can't let you be alone like this." Manik declared his decision pointing out his finger from her head to toe which was fully drenched.
He after declaring his decision started walking and signalled her too , to start walking.

Both started walking towards Nandini's home. Manik was enjoying the rain just like a little kid. He was jumping over the stones ; hitting the small pebbles ; playing football with the small stones and every thing that a kid does when he enjoys the rain. Nandini was walking behind him and was witnessing his every move. The real Nandini inside was actually liking his innocence and the way he was enjoying the rain and that walk in the rain. Manik's behaviour was bringing smile on her face. She started to smile a bit on his kiddish behaviour when suddenly Manik turned around. Nandini straightened her face quickly and turned her gaze from him to the other direction.

"Madam ; will you walk fast..?? Tumhara ghar abhi door hai.. Aise to Hume Subah ho jayegi" Manik told her to walk fast and turned around to walk again.
Nandini did not said anything to him but made face from behind. After around 45 mins of walking they were finally standing in front of her building.
"So here you are finally.! Chalo I'm leaving now . You are safely at your home. See you tomorrow." Manik was bidding her good bye from the building gate.
"Thanks a lot..!! And sorry chillane ke liye" Nandini said to him.
Manik smirked at her sorry and said "that's ok but sorry Aur tum...not done..!! Cause you will again shout tomorrow so wo to barabar ho jayega...to sorry toh tum rehne hi do.. I'll manage with your thank u.." . Nandini rolled her eyes on this and he smiled at her reaction. "Bye. Good night." He said and turned around to walk.

Nandini saw the time. It was 11.45. She knew Manik's building was around one hour away from hers that too in the car and he had to walk and and go. The rains had by now become slow but they were still pouring. The actual Nandini inside this rude and insensitive one was feeling bad that he just came soo far to drop her home safely. His walking down to his place again does not seems to be a good idea to her. She thought of something and called Manik from behind.

Manik by now had walked a bit away from the building gate. He turned around when he heard his name. Nandini was standing under a shed and he from there only signalled her to ask what.? Nandini saw Manik asking her why she called him from there only. She started walking towards him but he suddenly signalled her to wait there and came back to her.
"Haan.. What ..?" Manik asked her.
"Manik ; it's already very late. And this time in this rain you will get no auto. It will take you more than 1 hour to go to your place." Nandini gave him the reason of stopping him.
"Haan toh I know that. Don't worry I'll manage ." Manik was surprised to listen to her as he was already aware of the facts that she told him.
"Woh actually what I was thinking ki why don't you come up to my place. It's already late Aur kal office bhi jaana hi hai. Tum yahan se chale jana." Nandini said something totaly unexpected from her.

Manik was shocked to listen this. The girl who gives a damn to any person was actually trying to help him.
"Noo no it's absolutely fine. I will manage for sure. Thanks for saying it but I will be fine don't worry." Manik was actually glad on her proposal but then he politely rejected it to.
"I am sure you can manage but yahan bhi tumhe koi problem nahi hogi. Waise bhi dono ko kal ek hi Jagah jana hai and its quite late. I know not for you but today is different. You don't have your car also. Meri baat maano just come over." Nandini made a strong urge to him to stay at her place.

Manik kept his hands on his waist and was thinking for a while. He looked up at the sky and the rains suddenly became heavier again. He looked at Nandini and asked "are you sure.?? Pakka..?" . He did not wanted any trouble for her.
"Yup sure. No problem " she again convinced him.
Manik shurrged his shoulders and finally agreed to her.
"Ok then.. As you say".
Nandini started walking towards her flat and Manik quietly followed her.
