part - 2

It was late evening and everyone was winding up their work and leaving for their home.

Manik reached the parking and just when he was about to sit in his car ; he heard a car's ignition getting on and off again and again. He went towards the car and knocked on the window pane. As the pane went down ; the sight was not that good to please Manik's eye.

It was Nandini in the car who was literally fighting a battle with the ignition to start. She saw Manik with all frustration which was actually of the car not getting started. Manik looked at her and without asking any silly question like "what happened" straight way asked her ; "Aage check kiya , may be plug mein koi problem.." . Nandini replied to him in a lazy and worrying tone , " check kiya, plug dekha , koi problem nhi hai."

"Ok.. Open it let me check" Manik moved ahead to check the bonnet. For few minutes Manik tried his best to get the car started but nothing helped. After around 15 mins of hard trying he too finally gave up. "I checked in all possible way I could have. Lagta hai mechanic hi theek kar payega." He explained her car's condition to her.

Nandini who was standing out from her car now , made face. She kept her one hand on her head and other on her waist. "Damnn..!" She sighed in anger.

"Isse bhi abhi hi kharab hona tha..ohhh Goddd...!! How will I go home now..??" She murmured to herself .

Manik looked at her worried face and then checked his watch. It was already 9 and he did not felt right that she at that time should go alone in an auto.

"I can drop you if you want. Let the car be here. Kal mechanic yahin par theek kar dega. Abhi I can drop you if you wish to." Manik offered her help.

Nandini had no other option as at that time it would get really late if she chooses to go from an auto. She agreed for his help. Nandini took her stuff from the car and locked it. By the time Manik drove out his car towards the exist and Nandini took her seat.

Yes I know it's a short update but I am toh also not getting comments from anyone..😭

please guys if you like it and wanna read further please do comment... At least to motivate me or then please tell me to stop this crap .. anyway I am fine .. but plz comment

They were heading towards Nandini's home. After few mins of drive Manik asked her "ummm... Music..??" . Nandini , who was already frustrated with the broke down of her car ; irritatingly asked him ; "this car is yours..?" Manik looked at her surprisingly and with frown on his forehead said , "yeahhh of course..!! What did you thought.?"
"Sooo when it's yours ; do anything you want.. Why asking me..??" She said widening her eyes.!!
Manik know that she's always the same. Ready to attack attitude. So he didn't bothered on her comment and switched on the music. Nandini rested her head on the side of window pane and closed her eyes.

"Whattt theee ... !! Ye Kya tha..??" Nandini opened her eyes when the car stopped with as sudden and hard jerk. She asked Manik about it in a loud tone and her eyes wide open.
"I am sorry..!! I don't know what happend" Manik cleared out that he did not do that purposely. Manik tried to ignite the car several times but nothing helped. Nandini was surprised.
"I'll just check.. You wait here.." Manik told her to wait inside the car and went to check the bonnet. "Amazing..!! Super amazing..!" She murmured to herself and banged her head on her bag lying in her lap.

Manik was trying to fix his car but the stubborn car did not seem to have any mercy on two poor people. Nandini was getting irritated and panicking as it was getting late. Just then her eyes fell on something that increased her anger to the fullest.

Nandini stepped out of the car and stood beside Manik who was checking the bonnet. When he saw her there he very softly said to her "look I am checking it ; I'll fix it soon you please wait inside."
Nandini who was constantly looking at Manik in an irritated tone said to him ; "you can't fix it Manik so don't waste your time" .
"Look ; just because your car wasn't fixed that doesn't means that this will also not get fixed ; it's my car I know it." Manik tried explaining his knowledge about his car.
Nandini folded her arms across her chest and with a deadly look on her face said to Manik ; "do whatever you want to do. This car won't start."
Manik gave a confusing look to her. Nandini very calmly came closer to him and said " mr. Manik ; car needs petrol to run..!!"
Manik was again confused.
This time Nandini shouted on him and continued ; "and your car doesn't even have a drop you silly."
Manik eyes were wide open. He rushed to check the petrol meter. It was lying on E(empty). Then he remembered something.
"Shittt...!! shittt..!! shittt maaannn..!!! how can I forget this..??" He said frowning his forehead and banged his head two - three times on the car.
His car's fuel came in reserve mode two days back only. But Manik being careless Manik left it on later time to get the fuel tank refilled.
Manik was looking at Nandini in a pleading way whereas she was in ready to attack him and kill mode.

Nandini looked at the time. It was already 10. She banged her cell on her forehead and murmured ; "how to go home now from here..??" She was becoming tense.
"You stay alone right..? So what's the big deal if you reach home late today." Manik opened his mouth which actually he shouldn't have. Nandini turned her gaze towards him and grinning her teethes said ;"I stay alone that doesn't means I should be out the whole night,"
"Butt.!!" Manik tried to say something else to her but she gave a "I will kill you right now" look and made him shut his mouth.

.
Suddenly Nandini felt something has fallen on her forehead. She wiped it with her finger and just when was about to look what it's actually is ; she felt something more has fallen. She looked up at the sky and found that their where no stars in the sky and it was all cloudy.
"Nooo...!! Please abhi nahi..!!" She looked up and said as if she is talking to someone. But no one can stop what's written to happen. Water from heaven started flowing down. It started drizzling and in no time it took the form of heavy rain.

Nandini was shocked to witness rain at this time of the year. Her frustration level increased to the fullest. Her love towards the falling pearls from sky died long when. She turned towards Manik and witnessed him standing with his head held up high ; eyes closed and a sweet contented smile on his face. He was enjoying the rain as he has always loved it.

Nandini became highly irritated and murmured to herself ; "I don't believe this."
Nandini in her irritation started walking towards the direction of her home without even informing Manik.

After enjoying the rain for few mins ; Manik opened his eyes. He turned his gaze here and there to find her but could not.
"Kahan gayab ho gayi..?" He murmured to himself. Just then he saw her walking. She by then has walked abit too far. He immediately locked his car and ran towards her.

"Nandini stop." He finally shouted from a little distance. Nandini turned around when she heard her name. By then Manik had reached her. He was out of his breath because of running really fast. He stopped in front of her and to catch his breath again he bent down and kept his hands on his knees.
