CHAPTER 23

manik was in his room talking on the phone with his manager.. nandini enters the room and seeing manik she becomes confused that what possible gift she could give him?? he had everything whatever he wanted. whatever she would try to do would be less infront of his love and care. manik hung the call and turned towards the door and saw nandini standing playing with her fingers and lost in her own thoughts.

m=jaan kya hua??

manik brought her back to the reality. she looked here and there and then nodded in a no gesturing she is fine. manik smiled and asked her to give him his coat as he was getting later for office. nandini smiled and took out the coat from his cupboard and helped him put it on. after putting it on nandini hugs him from back and both looks at eachother through the mirror

m=i'll be back soon, ek important deal sign karni ha and once its done im all yours..

nandini smiled and kissed his cheeks coming infront of him and encircled her hands around his neck fixing his collar even though it was perfectly done

n=i mean, main soch rahihu ke tumhara birthday kaise special karu?? i know i can never compare with anything to your love and support which u have for me , but its your birthday i want to make it special for us, for you...thats why.. esa kya karu main???

manik simply adored her innocence. he pulled her closer by her waist and came close to her lips..she was ready for the kiss but instead of kissing he whispered in her ears

saying he planted a kiss on her shoulder which made her go all red. he cupped her face and kissed her forehead

m=i dont want anything cause even before wishing your ayippa gave me the most precious gift of my life as my birthday gift by sending u in my life and trust me mujhe kuch nahi chahiye, cause i have my life , my love, my soulmate in a word Everything... all i want is ke tum humesha khush raho and bhagwan mujhe itni strength de ke tumhe humesha khush rakh saku, tumhare chehrese smile kabhi na jane du and always protect u.

his words left her shed tears, not because she was sad but as she realized that it was impossible for her to compare anyones love with his. his love for her was beyond everything. even on his birthday he was asking ayippa to give him strength and ability so that he could protect her and make her happy?? i mean of what he was made nandu thought. manik gently wiped her tears and pressed his lips against hers. she closed her eyes and held him tighter. the kiss was a slow one yet full of passion. her hands fighting with the coat trying to push it off but manik didnt let it and broke the kiss

m=jaan not now,i need to go to the office

she nodded like a cute baby and said

he smiled and pecked her again on her lips and left the room. nandini left a sigh and sat infront of the mirror.

Nandini's POV

ayippa... thank u to you for sending manik in my life.. actually for sending me in his life, for blessing me with the most precious person who has the heart of gold.. shayed gold bhi kam parega. itna pyaar, itna calmness, itna dedication. ayippa daar lagta ha kabhi kabhi ke uske itna pyaar ke badle mera pyar pheeka na parjaye.

nandini's eyes fell on her collar bone where she saw a mark of love given by manik. she touched the marks and felt his scent on her body..

flashbacks of last night came on her mind.. she closed her eyes and was feeling the touch of his love on her body when mukti knocked at the door and nandini stood up with a jerk

mu=shopping !!!!

manik was in the office signing a deal when his dad entered. it was unusual that his dad enters his cabin when manik is in a meeting.

m=okay gentlemen, the deal is on. hope to see u all soon

the clients left the cabin and manik walked upto his dad

his dad handed him an envelope, manik opened it and saw tickets of london

raj=tum akele nahi jaoge, nandu jayegi.tum dono jaoge.. and this is my order. she needs a break manik. she needs a break from all this has happened. isiliye kal party khatam honeke bad dusre din u guys are leaving. and taki tum sab enjoy karo mukti alya cabir druv have agreed to join u all.. have some splendid moments

nandini did alot of shopping with mukti and alya. the trio had made up a good team spending times together , doing nothing but only girly things. the idea of sudden shopping plan was done by manik who didnt wanted nandini to cry all day in her room in his absence. so he had told mukti to take her out for shopping forcefully with the help of alya and saying that she could buy things for manik's birthday. eventually it worked as nandini agreed to go out even with her heavy heart only because she wanted to buy a new tuxedo for manik. when manik came back home in the evening he pretended as if he didnt know anything about the shopping party. nandini showed him the black tuxedo with royal blue border to him.. she was nervous whether he would like it or not but for her surprise manik said he loved it as she had chosen his favourite colour combination and ofcourse his favourite brand Raymond. hearing from manik that he would wear it the next day on his birthday party her smile grew bigger and seeing that manik's heart jumped in joy.

nandini was lying on his chest hugging him close. maniks hands were around her back and caressing her hair, closing his eyes. it was 11.45 and nandini was waiting to wish him. manik had asked her several times to sleep but she didnt listen to him.. after counting minutes and seconds finally it was 12 ... nandini looked at manik who was stroking her hair closing his eyes.. she gently pecked his lips and said

manik opened his eyes with a big smile on his face. seeing him smiling she kissed his cheek and hugged him

manik blushed hearing her words and kissed her lightly on her lips. their moment was disturbed when there was a knock on the door. nandini gave him side so that he could open the door. as soon as manik opened the door mukti came running and hopped into his arms. manik smiled and swirled her around

she gave him a kiss on his cheeks and handed him a box.

mu=hmmm..tum bhi kya rakhoge?? apni savings se tumhare lie gift kharida ha

manik took blessings from his parents and hugged them.

all of them smiled. after wishing manik and not disturbing the love birds they wished MaNan good night and left the room. manik towards nandini and pulled her close to him by waist

nandini blushed and looked down. he lifted her face up and was about to kiss her when she backed off with a cute smirk

m=what???

nandini holded his hand and bought him to the terrace.. manik saw the cutest arrangement she had done. the swing decorated with red balloons, his favourite colour & a table placed in the center of the terrace, she bought him infront of the table

m=u made the cake??

nandini nodded..manik smiled and kissed her hand caressing them with his thumb. he took the knife to cut it but then nandini stopped him

n=make a wish first...

manik smiled and closed her eyes with his palm and whispered in her ears

m=usdin tumne kaha na tha ke hum dono ek ha, then u wish on my behalf cause mujhe apne nie kuch nahi chahiye and my wish is ke tum jo chaho tumhe humesha mile.. so whatever u want u wish..

nandini smiled hearing his words.. she made a wish while manik was just adoring her. slowly she opened her eyes and saw him smiling.

n=cake kate???

manik took her hand within his and cut the cake.. nandini began to sing a song...

Dekar mujhe pata, awargi ban gayee[encircles her hands around his neck and starts dancing]

Haa hasi ban gaye, haa nami ban gaye[kisses him on cheeks]

Tum mere asmaan meri zameen bangayee aaah owwhh aaa...[rests her head on his chest]

Manik breaks the hug and pulls her to the swing. he makes her sit on the swing comfortably and starts pushing it slowly from behind]

Kya khub rab ne kiya, bin mange itna diya[manik bents down and kisses her forhead]

Warna ha milta kaha , hum kafiron ko khuda[nandini holds his hand and makes him sit beside her]

Kya khub rab ne kiya, bin mange itna diya[caresses his hand with her thumb]

Warna ha milta kaha , hum kafiron ko khuda[lone tear escapes from her eye which manik wipes away immediately]

Hasrate ab meri, tumse ha jaaan mili[she turns around and lies over him resting her back on his chest]

Tum dua ab meri, akhri ban gaye[manik encircles his hands around her]

Haan hasi ban gaye, haan nami ban gaye[plants kisses on her bare shoulder and cheeks]

Tum mere asmaan meri zameen ban gaye[she looks at him turning her face and brings his face closer to hers]

Ooohhh...aaahh...[snuggling close to him she puts her lips on his and ends the song with a sweet kiss full of love]

they remain lying on the swing for sometime, exchanging sweet kisses and snuggling close to eachother.

nandini blushed hearing his complement and kissed their entwined hands

manik smirked hearing when she called him jaan.

he bent down close to his ear and said in an intensive tone

nandini turned into a tomato hearing this. she tried to run away but he holded her hand and pulled her back on his lap. she was avoiding his eye contact but his fingers playing with her hair and his nose nuzzling in her shoulder... she was unable to move from there. he know how much she was being affected by his touch and taking the advantage he picked her up in his arms

n=manik kya karraheho?.. main khud chalsakti hu

m=so?? kya main apni chotu si baby ko nahi utha sakta??

n=baby?? main tumhe baby lagti hu???

they came back to their room. hugging eachother close, MaNan drifted into sweet dreams.
