"What?" Manik's eyes widen in shock and he turned pale. "Wh..why u..u.. want to come to my home?" He asked still not believing what he just heard. "What kya? No questions asked. Am coming to ur home today. Why and all you'll know soon." Nandini said and left leaving a pale manik. 'What? She cnt cme to my home. What will mom and dad think? I didn't even have even a crush till now and Nandini wanna come to my home? Oo God!!! What is happening. Please help me' manik thought to himself and moved to his class.
The whole day manik was lost in the thoughts of why Nandini wanted to visit his home and how will his parents react. Unknown to him there was something that was following him with the eyes of hawk, keeping track of his second to second movements. Manik was feeling restless with the constant gaze of someone on him and it was giving him negative vibes. 'God. Ab yeh kya hein. I know..am sure someone is following me. But who and why? Nandini hogi. No no she doesn't give me negative vibes. Sure this is smethng else.' Manik murmered to himself as he walked out of the college to go home.
As soon as he stepped out of the college, he felt someone's hand on his shoulders and he froze on his place. He closed his eyes tightly and started shivering. "Manik" Nandini called his name worriedly seeing his condition. Hearing nandini's voice he opened his eyes and looked to his right side too see Nandini standing there with a worried expression. Without thinking anything he hugged her tightly. She was stunned with the sudden hug but hugged him back seeing his condition.
"What happened manik?" Nandini asked breaking the hug. "Vo..vo..some..someone was following me. I dnt knw who and I didn't see anyone..but am sure someone was following me" manik said looking back. "There is nothing like that. U r just thinking too much. As long as am here nothing will happen to you" Nandini said. "What?" Manik shot his head to face her direction. "What did u just say?" Manik asked still confused. "I didn't say anything. I just said u r imagining things. Now dnt change the topic lets go to ur home" Nandini said covering up her slip of tongue.
Manik gulped hard and nodded his head. "Ok. So come lets go" Nandini said wearing her helmet and sitting on her bike. "No..we are not going by bike" manik said. "Kyun dar gayi?" Nandini smirked at him. "No no..am not afraid. It's just I dnt like bike rides" manik said trying to cover up. Nandini laughed in her sweet voice making him get lost in her voice. " sit" Nandini said breaking his trance. "Ya" he said softly.
The ride was silent. Nandini was riding very fastly and manik was just enjoying the ride even though he got scared at the beginning. Soon both were standing infront of manik's house. 'God!!! Please help me..aaj no problms' manik prayed silently while Nandini was enjoying the priceless expression on his face. "Agar if ur praying session is over lets go in" Nandini said and rang the bell. It was manik's mom Leena who opened the door. As soon as she opened the door, her eyes widened in shock and stood there like a statue.
"Mom..mom.." Leena was brought out of her thoughts by manik's voice. "Mom, this is..." Before manik could complete Leena cut him in between "Nandini" Leena said softly as in a whisper leaving manik shocked.
