"Manik..!!" She called him before stepping out of the room. "Meray chakar main mat paro..!! You will get nothing but pain..!! It's an advice..!!" Nandini said coldly and left the room.
"Now what was that suppose to mean?" Manik thought. And run behind her.
Nandini walked out of the classroom. She hardly had walked a few steps when she felt a little dizzy.
"OMG..!! I think It's because of losing too much blood..!!" She thought frustratedly and collecting all her senses she again started walking. Manik came in front of her.
"Hi..!!" Manik waved his hand in front of her. Nandini ignored him and kept walking. Manik started walking with her.
"I said hi..!!" Manik said sadly.
"And I told you not to follow me..!!" Nandini said coldly.
"Haan..!! But you know what? I felt some kind of connection with you..!!" Manik said dramatically and Nandini sighed.
"You are such a drama master Manik..!! I never saw you doing acting..!! I always saw you singing..!!" Nandini said still walking and Manik with her. Hearing her words Manik frowned.
"Wait a second..!! You know me? But yesterday you said that you don't know me..!!" Manik said standing in front of her blocking her way. Nandini's breath stuck in her throat it was a slip of tongue and Manik caught her. Now what will she say to him?
"Ummm..!! You are so famous in college na..!! Tou I heard some students talking about you..!!" Nandini lied avoiding eyes contact with Manik. In reality everything was becoming blur in front of her eyes. She was feeling too much dizzy.
"Bad lier..!!" Manik said shaking his head. "You know me..!! Accept it..!!" Manik said cheekily.
"Manik..! Leave my way..! Let me go..!" Nandini said in a low voice.
"Come on Nandini..!! At least you can say a thanks han? I gave you first aid..!!" Manik said sadly and Nandini in spite of struggling hard was losing her senses tried to push Manik away from her way but in spite of pushing him she held his collars for support.
Manik become surprised seeing her holding his collars. But he saw her closing her eyes. She was about to fall when Manik held her close. Her head banged in his chest.
"Nandini..! Are you ok?" Manik asked tapping her cheeks. She tried to open her eyes but couldn't. "You are looking so pale" Manik said worriedly but Nandini didn't replied because she was totally unconscious now. "Freak..!!" Manik murmured. He picked her up in his arms and run towards the medical room.
"How is she doc?" Manik asked worriedly as now doctor had checked up Nandini.
"Hmmm..!! Manik..! This girl..!! Kuch khati peeti nahi hai kya?" Doctor asked frowning a little.
"I don't know much about her doc..!!" Manik shook his head in dismay.
"Actually her blood pressure is very low..!! That's why she fainted..!! Moreover she is so weak..!! Her paleness clearly indicates her low blood level..!! Her swollen eyes..!! She looks like a poor soul..!! Mili kahan tmhy?" Doctor asked
Manik.
"She is my class fellow doc..!!" Manik said looking at her. She really seems to be very weak.
"Hmmm..!! It's ok..!! I have wrote some vitamins for her..!! Make sure she take it properly..!!" Doctor said and handed him a piece of paper prescription written on it. "I have given her the injection..!! She will gain her senses soon..!!" Saying that doctor left. Manik sat beside Nandini. Her open hair were beautiful..! He gently tucked a strand behind her ear. He was looking at her lovingly. There were sweat drops on her forehead he took some tissue from the tissue box which was placed near the bedside table and carefully wiped her sweat. Constantly smiling at her.
"Please trust me..!!" Nandini murmured. Manik look at her carefully. "Please I am not a liar..!!" She again murmured in sleep and Manik held her hands.
"Nandini..!!" Manik called her politely.
"Please trust me..!!" She again murmured but this time it felt like she will start cry Manik became confuse what to do..!
"Nandini..!! I trust you..!!"Manik whispered.He also didn't knew why he said that but don't know he felt like saying that to calm her down. Suddenly he felt Nandini became relaxed and her grip on his hand become tight. Manik kept staring at her for an hour holding her hand. After an hour he noticed Nandini moving. He immediately realized that she was coming back to her senses. He untangled his hand from her and got up because he didn't want her to be embarrassed.
Nandini woke up and look at her surrounding everything was so unfamiliar.
"Hye..!! How are you feeling?" Manik said bending over her.
"Where am I?" She said with an absent mind.
"You are in medical room of SPACE..!! Remember you fainted...!! So I brought you here..!!"Manik explained politely. For few seconds Nandini look here and there to summarize what happened. Suddenly all the incidents flashed in her mind. She immediately got up from the bed.
"Hey..!!Where are you going? You need rest..!!" Manik held her shoulders but she jerked his hands.
"Manik..!! Please..!! Stop interfering in my life..! Kuch nahi milay ga tmy mjh say..!!" Nandini said weakly and wore her shoes.
"Nandini..!! I am not interfering in your life..!! I want to be your friend Nandini..!!" Manik said looking at her and Nandini look at her shocked.
"Manik...!! Why do you want to be my friend? I am not that worthy..!!" Nandini said coldly.
"But Nandini..!!" Manik wanted to say more but Nandini showed him her hand.
"No Manik..!! Just stay away from me..!!" Nandini said in a high pitch.
"Ok fine..!! Let me drop you home at least..!!" Manik said taking some steps towards her.
"I know you have helped me a lot..!! I can manage myself..!! Thanks for this band aid and for giving me this medical aid..!! Bye..!!" Nandini said and walked out. Manik sighed in dismay.
"Manik..!! What is going on between you and Nandini?" Cabir asked as soon as Manik joined fab4 in canteen.
"Nothing..!!" Manik said in a low voice.
"Come on Manik..! We all saw you how you both were singing together..!! And the way you followed her..!! It wasn't NOTHING..!!" Mukti said slaping Manik's head.
"Mukti..!! Easy girl..!! Let him speak..!!" Alya said and stopped Mukti from beating Manik.
"Buddy do you love her?" Suddenly Dhruv asked and Manik's eyes popped out in surprise.
