Chapter 4 B

"What? No..!! I mean..!! I don't know..!!" Manik didn't know but he couldn't deny Dhruv's words. He was himself confused why he was following Nandini? Why he was so desperate to be friend with her? Why? Why? Why? There were so many whys which needed to be answered...!!

"Manik..!! Nandini seems to be a good girl..!! If you like her than we don't have any problem..!! We will be happy to see you in a relation..!!" Cabir said and all other three nodded.

"Guys..!! I don't know..!! She even don't want to see my face but still I want to be with her..!! You know there is something very very different about her..!!" Manik said lost in thoughts and all the four smiled.

"It's ok Manik..!! Tou himat mat haar..!! Try try again until you will succeed..!!" Dhruv said smilingly.

"Yeah..!! What you guys think about her?" Manik said looking at them.

"Hmmm..!! I have never saw her talking to any girl..!!" Alya said thoughtfully.

"Alya is right..!! I also never ever saw her talking to anyone..!! Not even looking at anyone..!! She is unusually quiet..!!" Mukti said shaking her head.

"And I never ever saw her laughing..!! Aur hasna tou door ki baat I never saw her smiling..!!" Cabir added.

"What should I do?" Manik said helplessly.

"You na keep bugging her..!!She will surely give you importance..!!" Mukti exclaimed.

"Last time when I tried to bug her na..! She slapped me..!!" Manik frowned. And Fab4's eyes popped out of their sockets.

"What? She slapped you?" All shouted in unison.

"Shhh..!! Shut up guys..!! Koi aur sun lay ga..!!" Manik tried to shush them.

"Wait a second..!! A girl slapped Manik Malhotra? And Manik is still want to be with her? Am I dreaming? Mukti pinch me?" Cabir said shockingly and Mukti playfully pinched him.

"What the hell guys? I am here because I need help..!! But it seems you all are least interested in my story..!!" Manik said angrily and got up to leave.

"Manik stop..!!" All four shouted and held his hand.

"We will help you bro..!!" Dhruv said and made him sit again. But Manik was still angry.

"Manik get her some red roses..!! She will be very happy..!!" Alya said happily and Manik palmed his face.

"Alya baby..!! I just said that she even don't want to see my face..!! How will you say that she will accept my roses..!!" Manik said frowning his face. "Next idea..!!"

"Buddy you go to her and tell her that you like her..!!" Dhruv said excitedly and Manik gave him a deadly glare.

"Dhruv..!! Last time she just slapped me on just holding her hand this time she will punch me..!! And I can't afford that..!!" Manik said coldly. "Next idea..!!"

"Ummm Manik..!! Tou na usy sab kay samnay kiss kar..!! Phr dkhty hain how she will say no to you haahaa..!!" Mukti exclaimed and Manik felt like banging his head in the wall on Mukti's one track mind.

"Shut up Mukti..!!" Manik showed her eyes and she shrugged her shoulders carelessly.

"Wait guys..!!" Cabir said and everyone look at him. "Manik..!! How much you know her?"

"Nothing except her name..!!" Manik said lowering his head.

"Just name? And you want to be with her? Are you serious?" Cabir said looking in his eyes.

"Cabir..!!" Manik said helplessly.

"Ok fine..!! Where does she live?" Cabir asked.

"I really don't know anything..!!" Manik said frustratedly.

"Tou pata kar bro..!!" Cabir said poking his shoulder Manik was about to say something when canteen waiter came there.

"Bill..!!" He said extending his hand in front of them.

"Ufff..!!" Manik sighed and take out his wallet. He was taking out money when a piece of paper fell out of the wallet on the table. Manik didn't noticed it but Cabir picked it up. Manik gave the money meanwhile all fab4 got busy reading the paper. Manik after giving money turned his attention towards them and found everyone looking at him.

"What? Why are you staring at me?" Manik asked raising his eyebrow.

"Are you sick?" They all asked in unison.

"No..!! What made you say that?" Manik asked confusingly.

"Then what was this prescription note doing in your wallet?" Cabir asked sarcastically and Manik become confuse.

"What note?"Manik took it from Cabir's hands. Suddenly reality struck his mind. It was Nandini's prescription note. He forgot to gave her.

"It's not mine..!! It was for Nandini..!!" Manik said and explained them everything.

"Way to go bro..!! Bahana mil gya..!! Go to her home and gave her the medicines..!!" Cabir explained and everyone gave him a high five.

"Great..!! Ok I am going..!!" Manik said and got up to leave. All the four were looking at him smilingly but he turned. "Group hug guys?" Manik said smilingly and stretched his arms four of them hopped in his arms. After a intense group hug Manik left. And fab4 again sat on their chairs.

"What to do you guys think? Manik and Nandini..!" Mukti said worriedly.

"Mukti..!! Manik has some feelings for Nandini..!! Can't you see the sparkle in his eyes wo kabhi Soha kay time par nahi tha..!! Soha kay dhokay kay baad I never thought that he will be able to get interested in someone else..!! I hope Nandini will be a right choice..!!"Cabir said shaking his head and all nodded.

Yes..!! Manik was in a relation with Soha Khurana..!! But she cheated him..!! She was fooling him at the same time she was in relation with another boy..!! Manik was very hurt..!! It wasn't like that Manik loved Soha..!! He trusted her..!! But Soha..!! She deceived him..!! Although Manik didn't had even a single regret of breaking up with her but after that he never tried to be with someone..!! But now it was Nandini..!!

Nandini after leaving the medical room came out of college. She wanted to go to academy but she was out of strength now. So she simply hired an auto and reached her apartment. She opened her fridge to get something to eat but fridge was empty.

"Oh God..!! These last few days of month really difficult for me..!! Huhh..!!" Nandini said frustratedly. Although she earn a handsome money from her part time job but it wasn't that enough to make her comfortably eat whole month. In last few days of month Nandini almost starve just drinking coffee and a mere sandwich.

Nandini came in bedroom and fell on the bed. She again dived in pool of thoughts.

"Nandu..!! What you wanna eat..!"

"Ummm Bhabhi something tasty..!! Chinese..!!"

Nandini smiled on her helplessness and lone tear escaped her eye and she mercilessly wiped it off. She look at the poster. HER Rockstar.

"Today you helped me a lot..!!And yeah you almost caught me that I know you..!! So fast haan Manik..!! But why you want to get close to me? Please stay away na..!! I can't help myself...!! I don't want to break in front of you..!! I don't want you to get hurt..!!" Nandini talked to the poster in front of her. And unknowingly she dozed off.

Chapter 4 C

She woke up by the constant ring of her doorbell. She lazily opened her eyes and walked out of the room to open the door. She was still in sleep but when she opened her door the person in front of her was enough to flew her sleep.

"You..!!" She shouted.

"Hi..!!" He waved his hand in front of her innocently.

Manik after leaving Canteen went to the clerks office and asked him about Nandini's address. After taking her address he bought medicines for her. Then he bought some fruits and he bought some Chinese food for her and "her family". Soon he reached her apartment and now as expected she was shocked.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Nandini said gritting her teeth.

"Ohh come on friends visit each other right..!!" Manik said cheekily.

"I am not your friend..!" Nandini said angrily. "Just go away..!!" She said pushing

him.

"Woohoo..!! Look if you are scared of your parents then don't take tension main un say baat kar loon ga..!!" Manik said.

"Manik..!! I live alone here..!!" Nandini said in a low voice and Manik got another shock.

"What? You live alone here? That's good..!!" Manik said smilingly "Now can come in? I have brought you medicines and some food..!!"

"Why are you doing this? Why are you showing this mercy on me?" Nandini said looking in his eyes.

"Look Nandini I am not doing any kind of mercy..! I just want to be a friend nothing else..!!" Manik said affectionately and Nandini step aside giving him way to come in. Manik smilingly stepped in.

"Nice apartment..!!" Manik complimented her.

"Thanks..!!" She said lowering her head.

"By the way how are you now? Are you feeling better?" Manik asked politely and she just nodded.

"Have you ate the dinner? If not then come fast and dish out this food..!!" Manik said placing the food boxes on the table.

"Ok..I'll be back in two minutes..!!" Saying that Nandini went to her room to wash her face. Manik got busy in looking here and there. He was little surprised on Nandini living alone..!! Soon Nandini came back and unpacked the food. They both sat on the table and started eating. After taking first bite se realized it was chinese.

"Bhabhi you know how much I love Chinese..!!"

"I know that's why I cooked it for you..!!"

Tears brimmed in her eyes but she blinked them away.

"You like the food? It is really very tasty right?" Manik being a foody was enjoying the food a lot.

"I don't know if it's tasty or not..!!" Nandini said calmly and Manik look at her.

"What? Your taste buds don't work?" He asked surprisingly and she gave him a deathly glare. "Sorry bad joke...!!" Manik immediately said sorry.

"I am least interested in taste of food..!! I just eat that much which keep me alive..!!" She murmured inaudibly but Manik heard it. Nandini was becoming a mystery for him.

"Acha..!! Where is your family? Do they live in some other city?" Manik asked changing the topic.

"I am an orphan..!!" Nandini said in a low tone.

"Oh I am sorry..! And any sibling?" Manik asked.

"Thay bhaiya aur bhabhi..!! But thay are also DEAD..!!" Nandini said in a hatred tone turned her face. And Manik's lips curved in O.

"Now if your interview is done..!! Will you please leave?" Nandini said looking at him. Manik got up from his chair and walked towards her. He kneeled in front of her and held her hands. Nandini looked at him in surprise. Don't know why but his touch was not hurting her..!! It was soothing..!! She was lost in his eyes..!! Those eyes were magical..!!

"Nandini..!! I want to share your pain..!!" Manik said looking in her eyes and suddenly Nandini came out of the trance she jerked his hands away and got up from her chair. Leaving a pissed of Manik behind now he was facing her back

"Manik..!! I am not in pain..!! Stop interfering in my life..!! It's my bloody life..!! You are no one to me..!! No one..!!" Nandini lied controlling her emotions.

"Am I really nothing to you?" Manik asked sadly from her back.

"Yes..!! Nothing...!!" Nandini said and closed her eyes in pain she had to jerk him away.

"Ok..!! Bye then..!!" Manik said sadly and turned to leave. Nandini followed him and he opened the exit door. He was about to step out of the door when he heard her whisper and that was:

"Thank you Manik..!!"

He smiled and she had locked the door now.

As soon as Manik left Nandini bursted out in tears.

"I am sorry Manik..!! I am so sorry..!! It's for your own good..!! I am really very sorry..!!" She said between her sobs. If Manik would had asked her to be her friend a year ago she must had died with happiness but now her own life was ruined. She was not more than a burden..!! She was a bad girl..!! Very bad..!!
