Hey guys this a new ff on manan. I hope u guys will like this story also like my other work. And a huge thank you to paarsa for her support, suggestions and inputs. This story is specially dedicated to u. Hope u'll like it.

Prolouge:

Manik knows nandini from child hood. Wondering how?

Nandini belonged to a middle class family and her father works in manik's company. They were very fond of each other. Maniks parents considered her as their own daughter and treated her like that. Nandinis father was a very loyal person in his work and personal life and due to his this quality another business man named Khurana wanted nandinis father to work for him but he refused. So khurana decides to take revenge from him. So khurana proves with fake evidences that nandinis father was working with them to destroy them. This depressed harsh.

But nandinis parents decided to confront and clear the misunderstanding but before they could do something they met with an accident and died on the spot. Harsh came to know about the truth himself and felt guilty for not trusting nandinis father. Harsh and nyonika decided to take her responsibility. But nandinis chacha chachi was fixing her marriage with mentally and physically disabled guys just for money. So harsh and nyonika asked manik to marry nandini and he obliged without any argument. He didn't love her but for his parents and her safety he agreed for the marriage. But the case was different with nandini. She was just 19 and she had to stop her studies cuz of the marriage.

Manik was 5 years older than her. He started his career as a director and also look after his fathers business. Nandini fell for him hard and mad. She fell in love with him more and more everyday. They had physical relation everyday but manik didn't love her. He cared for her but not love. She had a miscarriage but manik took it lightly cuz she was too young to handle it.

Character sketch:

Manik malhotra: 26 year old handsome hunk. Son of harsh and nyonika malhotra. He is a big celebrity director and also the number one business tycon. He is a bad boy and a big time flirt. He changes girlfriends every week but never cross his limits. He may kiss them but never had physical relation. Married to Nandini Moorthy. They make love every night. He have an on and off attitude towards nandini. Sometimes rude and sometimes caring.

Nandini Moorthy: 21 year old simple and sweet girl. Wife of Manik Malhotra. Madly and deeply in love with him who doesn't love her back but cares for her. She knows about Maniks every linkups but is grateful that he married her. Love her in laws like her parents and takes care of them. She is a little scared of manik cuz of his on and off behavior.

Dhruv Malhotra: Maniks younger brother. 22 years old. Nandinis best friend.

Cabir: Manik's best friend and loves nandini like a little sister.

Mukthi and Aliya: Two sweet and bubbly girls. Modern and opposite of nandini. Nandinis friends for a very long time. Very understanding and supporting.

Part 1:

Its 5 in the evening and a beautiful girl was sleeping alone in a large king sized round bed wrapped up in a black duvet. She was tossing on the bed restlessly in sleep. She woke up with a jerk with the constant knock on the door. She checked her forehead, temperature has reduced but she still felt dizzy and weak. But she walked to the door slowly and opened the door. "Dhruv ? What happened?" She asked straightening herself. "Nandu are you ok? Why were u sitting inside the room locked up?" Dhruv asked concerned.

I was just feeling sick so I was just taking rest" nandini said calmly. "Sick? Let's go to doctor instead of going to doctor u locked up itself in a room saying u r resting?" He said taking hold of her hand to take her. "Are dhruv a fine now. I did take medicine, see am fit now" nandini said cheekily not wanting dhruv to spoil his big day cuz of her sickness.

"Then get ready we have a part to attend" dhruv said enthusiastically. "No dhruv. I don't want to go for any party" nandini said dejectedly. "But nandini you don't have to go anywhere for the party. Its here only. In our home" he said sadly. "But dhruv you know right that I don't attend parties and I don't like them. " she was feeling sad to reject the offer as it was a party for dhruv's Bollywood debut. She didn't want to hurt her best friend but she didn't have any choice as she never liked parties and never attended one. She was a simple girl and loved to b simple and parties were out of her league.

"Its OK nandu. Dnt worry. Na ya mom and dad are waiting for u downstairs" dhruv said not wanting to push her to do something she didn't want to do. He wanted his best friend to be there for his big day but also he didn't want to make her uncomfortable. "Ha chalk" nandu said and they walked down to hall where harsh and nyonika was waiting for them.

As they came down "good evening beautiful" harsh and nyonika wished her which she happily replied. "How are you feeling now beta?" Nyonika asked concerned. "Am better ma" she replied resting her head on nyonikas lap and nyonika caressesd her head lovingly. "Mom, bhai kana hein?" Dhruv asked nervously. Nandini had dozzed off cuz of effects of medicine so she ddidnt hear any of their conversation. "Beta I have send him for a meeting. He'll be here soon" as soon as harsh finished his sentence some one came and stood at the door. "Missing me already?" Said that 6 feet tall figure walking inside to were everyone was sitting. It didn't take much time for nandini to wake up hearing his voice. Whenever she heard his voice or some one taking his name she feels nervous or a blush comes on her face. Sometimes she is scared of him. She didn't dare to look at his face so she pretended asleep. "Tum agai? How was the meeting?" Harsh asked as he sat with others. "Well it went s usual. We bagged the deal" he said in his deep husky voice which was creating a havoc in nandinis mind. "Manik how much will u work? U look very tired" said nyonika worriedly. "Mom u know right. I love my job" he said. "OK baba, I'll bring ur coffee" saying this she started to get up but stopped realizing nandini was asleep on her lap. Nyonika called harsh and said "come and sit here otherwise she'll wake." Nyonika said running her fingers through nandinis hair. "So what mom?" Manik asked absent mintedly and clearly irritated. "Bhai she is sick. She was in the room sleeping after taking medicine. I called her down mayb she dozzed cuz of medicines effect" dhruv said patiently. Maniks expression softened. He stood up and went beside nyonika and asked her to move so that he can sit there. She happily obliged and manik sat there and kept her head on his lap and checked for temperature. He was relieved that the temperature was not so high but he didn't show it outside. All this while nandinis heart was beating fast is it cuz of the proximity or her fear she didn't know. But one thing she knew was she loves him madly and insanely and he always had this effect on her. Well that was Manik malhotra.
