Chapter-10

The morning started with the beauty of the Sun. There were 5 people who were waiting for the morning.

Cabir- for kicking his best buddy out of his house so that he could get some senses!
Tiksha- she just wanted that sad night to end. She was very much tensed for her bestie!
Alya- A new day for her to drool over Manik and try to make him hers!
Manik- He was sensing something awkward and just wanted to be with his friends.
Nandini- She was just waiting to pass the whole day so that she could sleep again in the night! xD

The trio was sitting on the breakfast table chit chatting and having their breakfast when Nandini saw two heavy bags kept beside the sofas.

"Koi aur bhi aarha hai kya?" Nandu asked Cabir.

"Matlb?" Cabir asked her as he didn't understand what she was trying to say.

"Are I mean these bags... Mtlb kiske hain ye?" Nandini asked gulping her juice.

"Uhh wo actually... Manik... He is moving out." He replied.

"Where'd he shift then? Dorm lene ke liye bhi 5 din phele apply krna pdta hai." Tiksha asked Cabir before Nandini could react.

"Alya ke sath." Nandini mocked and then the table turned silent for 2 minutes and then they all burst into heavy laughter.

"Waise Cabir, I am thinking ke let's go for some outing today? Like I mean just roam around. We haven't checked this place after all." Tiksha stated and waited for their reply.

"Great Idea! I just want some peace of mind." Nandini replied and stared Cabir for his permission.

"Mujhe mana karke marna hai kya? Aisa kar Nandu bring your friends too. Jitne zada log honge utna maza ayega." Cabir said sheepishly.

"Ya sure let me call them." Nandini said and held her phone to find Aryamann's contact.

"Haan Aryamann!"
"We are going for an outing today"
"Yar listen to me first"
"Oh shut up and listen"
"I want you both to come with us."
"Arre you and Mukti"
"Acha bring her too."
"Fine. Come at our place by an hour."
"Bye"

"Guys, Navya is also coming. She's Aryamann's friend and our classmate." Nandini said and started going through her Instagram homepage only to spoil her mood. There she found Manik's picture with Alya and the caption was: Who wouldn't love to have such beauty in front of him every morning?

This broke Nandini's heart into pieces. He was just playing around all the time?

She ignored and said to herself, Kya hua Nandini? Nobody ever loved you since the starting so why would he? Just chuck it and focus on your aim.

She then checked her messages:

Manik: Hey good morning.
Nandini: Gm.

Sister: Can we meet again? Please? We all really need to talk.
Nandini: I am busy. I can't afford to lose my time for you people.

Mansi: Yaar I miss you so much!
Nandini: Me more! When's Kirti getting married? We are surely gonna come!

Chachu: Oye firangii! Kaisi hai?
Nandini: Main mast! Ap sunao?

She then turned to get back to her room to get ready.

She wore a dark grey tank top with yellow shorts. She was very excited for her first outing in NYC. Aryamann and Mukti came with Navya around 10 minutes late.

Dinner time! They all were dead tired with such an eventful day. They had their phones switched off so that no one could disturb. For some time, they even forgot that Manik existed. Nandini didn't react much on knowing Manik's true side because she was used to this - USED. She was always being USED by everyone.

Her family left her without trusting her and after knowing the truth they expect her to get back to them. Like what? By reading her cousin's messages she found out that no one knew about the disowning thing! She chucked everything and got back to her dinner.

On the other side, Manik went straight to the college but didn't find any of them there. Not even Nandini's friends. He called the three of them but no one picked up and after some time they were switched off. He went home and found his bags kept beside the sofas with a note.

"We are going for an outing. I know it wouldn't matter to you wherever we go but it's our duty to tell someone who live in this house about our location unlike some people. You are heartily requested to get lost from MY house. We just wanted you to go fast so packed your things! You can return the favor later, when you get time with your girls. Good bye."

He was fuming with anger. He didn't know what he did. Why were they behaving like this? He was so tensed the whole day and after reading the letter he got angrier and left the house.

Now the problem arose. Where would he stay? He hadn't even applied for a dorm. Alya! Yes! Alya would surely help me. She's such a sweet soul.

He turned his car towards Alya's apartment and requested her to let him stay for 5 days. She happily agreed.

"Waise Manik now we are good friends right? So you can stay here only. No need to apply for dorm. Mujhe bhi company mil jayegi." Alya said cheekily.

"Uhm okay. Only if I get to change that room color." Manik replied.

"Haha sure!" Alya lightly hugged him and wished a good night and they both retired to their rooms.

Cabir, Tiksha and Nandu arrived late at night. All exhausted! They entered the house and threw themselves on the sofas where Cabir found a letter.

"I was just preparing to leave from this shitty place of yours, thank you for helping me indirectly. Goodbye to you too."

He read it out loud and they three sighed and went back to their rooms. Sleep got them in moments because of the tiredness. They didn't even bother to think about Manik because of their morning conversation.

Flashback:

Cabir: Guys don't you wanna ask why I let him out of my house?
Nandini: We don't want to know Cabir. There must be a solid reason. Moreover, we don't care.
Cabir: We shouldn't. He's such a...
Nandini: Jerk! I know! He doesn't deserve friends like us. ;)
Tiksha: Acha so from now on we won't talk about him, right?
Cabir: Never!

But deep down Nandini still cared for him. Aah I need a break! She checked her messages and replied:

Manik: And you are with Cabir in this?
Nandini: It shouldn't bother you.

Mansi: Yaar its going to be soon. Aur tujhe 2 hafte phele ana hai ok?😳
Nandini: Done!

Sister: WE ARE SORRY GET IT OKAY
Nandini: Ok

Chachu: Main bhi theek hun. Tu to zada hi busy hogyi hai NYC jake? 😛
Nandini: Haha naii chachu aisa kuch nahi hai

She sat on the bed thinking about how Manik proposed her and how he said that he'd win her in just 30 days, their first kiss, their hugs, Manik's possessiveness, everything! Deep inside she was too broken. Afterall it was her first love. Then, her phone buzzed.

Manik: I didn't expect this from you at least.
Nandini: Copy, paste, enter!
Manik: What did I do?
Nandini: Idk. Let me sleep.
Manik: Attitude?
Nandini: Mr. Malhotra, stop disturbing me!
Manik: Oh why not you must be busy thinking about Aryamann!
Nandini: I only expect these cheap thoughts from you.
Manik: Sach hamesha kadwa hota hai.
Nandini: I hate you! Kadwa laga?
Manik: But nandini what have I done?
Nandini: Ask yourself
Manik: Fine now go to hell and never show your shitty face to me again!

This was it. She started crying badly. She cried till she slept.

End of the chapter.

Actually, Alya woke Manik up from the guest room and insisted for a morning selfie. He hesitantly agreed and clicked one with her. Then she asked him to post it on Instagram. He refused saying that he was getting late and he would, later. But she snatched his phone and asked him to freshen up and that she would post it. That caption was posted by Alya only.
The last message conversation was done by Alya because she thought that Nandini has hurt Manik and that's why he was low.
I am making everything clear side by side so that you won't hate Manik's character. Some people want me to make Manik innocent and that's why I am just changing the storyline for your convenience. I really wanted Manik to be a playboy and then realize his mistake but then, you, Manik lovers don't want that. So here it is the innocent Manik.
Sorry for not mentioning anything about the trip but I was lack of thoughts and I just wanted to focus on the separation track.
AND ONE MORE THING! ALYA IS NOT EVIL OR BAD! YOU WILL SOON GET TO KNOW THAT!

Tell me how was the update? I know Its super short but please try and understand that I've some deadlines and that, I am too busy plus I am suffering with Viral. Parth got fine whereas my condition worsened. I really can't afford to sit in front of my laptop for so long. So you have to bear with these extra short and late updates for pretty long time, till I get fine and finish off with my extra deadlines.
I'd compensate by giving at least 2 updates a day and that too, long ones. Pardon me till then.

Poor Nandu she is heart broken again and coz of manik stupidity he has not even realising what he did and why his friends are upset with him more to it he is blaming them wake up dude you need to look around for what is happening

Eventually aliya got succeeded and manan got separated feeling bad for Nandu as what manik did wasn't right if he so claims to be in love with her then how can he say such things to her I hope he soon get his lesson for what he did

Chapter-11

They all woke up with long faces and swollen eyes. No wonder everyone had cried to sleep last night. They saw each other's condition and started laughing loudly! This is friendship. Laughing with each other for no reason!

"So Nandu Pandu how are you?" Cabir asked pulling her cheeks.

"I don't know." Nandini replied with a face.

"We all need a very big break." Tiksha said. Always thinking of holidays!

"I second her. We seriously need a long one." Cabir said while side hugging Nandini.

"Umm let's go to Spain na! Please please please! I always wanted to go there." Nandini spoke cheekily making Cabir chuckle.

"Nai Nandu! London chalengay." Tiksha retorted back.

"NAHI SPAIN"

"I SAID NA LONDON!"

"SPAIN"

"LONDON!"

"SPAIN"

"LONDON!"

"Please na Tiksha." Nandini made a puppy face.

"Oh hello I won't fall for your puppy faces okay? We are going to London and that's final." Tiksha said smiling sarcastically.

"Excuse me girls. Main bhi hun yahan." Cabir coughed in between.

"SHUT UP!" They both shouted in unison.

"Acha listen to me at least. Ham sab dono jagah jayenge. 2 weeks London and then next 2 weeks Switzerland, okay?" Cabir said and waited for their reply.

"OKAY!" They again shouted in unison and pounced on Cabir.

They asked Aryamann, Mukti and Navya to join them too. Aryamann and Mukti agreed whereas Navya refused the offer which pinned Cabir somewhere. His heart of course! Cabir booked the coming night's flight tickets for London and booked the hotels and did all the necessary formalities.
They took an off from the college for the packing and stuff.

On the other side, Manik woke up late and got outside the room to find totally different surroundings. Oh it's Alya house! I just forgot. Manik mentally slapped himself and then went to college with Alya. He didn't really talk to her but just hmm'ed at her girlish plus foolish talks. In the college they met Navya at the entrance and they all went inside.

Navya and Alya got mixed up and chattered a lot while Manik's eyes were finding his two besties, Cabir and Nandini. He didn't see them the whole day and finally gave up.

He was walking inside the administrative office to renew his canteen card when he bumped into someone, "Ouch!" Manik shrieked and helped the other person to stand.

"Hey I am sorry, actually..." The guy standing in front was trying to explain himself when Manik cut him in between.

"Ah It's okay. Are you fine?" Manik asked him.

"Yeah I am thanks. Btw I am Dhruv. New admission!" Dhruv spoke smiling shyly.

"Oh great! Hi Dhruv! I am Manik." Manik shook hands with him and then they both found their ways and left for their targets.

Manik renewed the card and went into the canteen and found Navya and Alya already there. Dhruv too entered with him and he offered him to sit with them, for which, he happily agreed.

Manik, Alya, Dhruv and Navya were bonding really well with each other. Manik did miss his friends but didn't show it. He wasn't even aware as to where they are.

And there in London and in Spain, they were spending the best moments of their lives. Getting drunk, playing pranks on roadside people, shouting on silent roads in the night and what not? And the best part of the trip was the tomatina festival of Spain. The tomato holi, they called it!

It had been 4 weeks.

Manik was just too much tensed seeing their locked apartment every day since he left the house. He'd curse himself but then just thought that they all didn't deserve him. His friendship! His Love!

Cabir, Nandini, Tiksha, Mukti and Aryamann were enjoying the hell out of everything! It was their best trip and they were getting over it.
It was easy for Nandini as she had suffered a lot in her past. She was able to get over him easily because she was practiced. She knew how to let go her feelings like she always did.
Cabir was equally hurt as Nandu. Manik was his best friend. How could he be such a jerk? He had hurt her sister, her Nandu! He'd never forgive him.
Tiksha, Mukti and Aryamann weren't really attached to him that much but they did care for Cabir and Nandu and felt bad every time they saw them lost.

Their month long trip was over and now they were back to New York with full on energy to rock the college.

The day when they went to college, they felt like home. They felt more relieved. YAY! Back with a bang! Haha! Shouted the girls happily

A lot had changed in this one month. Manik, Alya, Navya and Dhruv were one strong group and Abhimanyu too had joined them, later. They 5 were known as the Incredible 5 in the whole college. Students usually called them the Ink-5! They were too good at music.
Navya was brainwashed by Alya about Cabir, Aryamann, Mukti, Tiksha and Nandini. She thought that they all were the reason of Manik's sudden sadness. She cared a lot about him. After all, she was in love with him and Navya being the stupidest fell for her words.

The Cabir Gang, also thought of making a musical band. So they named themselves as the Fabulous 5 or more often known as the Fab-5. They equally complimented the Ink-5.

And fortunately, or unfortunately, whatever you say so, they didn't know about other band's existence.
So, uh, coming back to the story, aah yes, they entered inside the college.

I am providing you with new character sketches here about how they all have changed in this one month.

Manik: The sweet, loving, handsome guy was dead. His anger overpowered and now he has become an angry hulk which no one could ever calm down when he get into rage. He only loves four people in his life i.e. Dhruv, Abhimanyu, Navya and Alya. They are his best friends and his life. He protects them as a barrier and doesn't interact with anyone. He is so into his music that he has forgotten his past and started (Kinda) hating Nandini.

Nandini: The bubbly and witty girl's no more. She hid behind her humorous and bold side. She's too aggressive and can even break one's face if he even touches her friends. She'd go to any extent for Cabir. She loves music and has forgotten Manik- the so called sweet guy. She doesn't have any feelings for him. She just doesn't care about him anymore.

Cabir: He is the same as before. The only difference is that he has started respecting Nandini more and more and would love to die for her and even kill someone if he even raises an eye over her, wants to stab Manik for making his Nandini lost in the midst of her thoughts.

Alya: The sweet, sensitive, pretty doll has changed into a fierce woman. She hates the whole Fab-5 for hurting Manik as she doesn't know about any misunderstanding as of now. She only knows that she wants to see a happy Manik. She has got a lot more attitude than needed. She's on cloud 9 for no wonder what reason.

Tiksha: She is the same chirpy girl as before the only difference is that she protects Nandini more than anything, is over possessive for her and has a soft corner for Cabir as a "FRIEND".

Navya: She was brainwashed by Alya that the Fab-5 are bad people and they bound to make everyone's life hell. She still has a soft corner for all of them but would never show it, hates them all for hurting Manik.

Mukti: The wild cat isn't changed a bit except that of her hairstyle. Fab-5 is her only family.

Dhruv: He is a sweet, shy guy. The official advisor of the Ink-5! Is very passionate about his music! Hates Fab-5 as Alya has brainwashed each and every one of them! But what to do, she herself is brainwashed and doesn't know what had happened.

Aryamann: The cool funny guy. Best friend of Nandini. Always by her side in times of need! He is cool with everyone only if it doesn't hurt his friends.

Abhimanyu: The new guy. He came after a week. He looks too innocent and makes everyone smile. Waiting for his soul mate. Doesn't believe in Alya's story.
